It’s been almost a month since I started writing "Detective Case: Beginning by rging Police Dog Scent Genes." Finally, this book is about to be launched. This is the author’s debut novel on Qidian, ticulously conceived, with detailed outlines. So far, the result has largely t the author’s expectations.
Since it’s my first ti writing on Qidian, making it to Sanjiang is pretty good. Of course, thanks to the suspense genre, which seems pretty niche; new books typically don’t even count up to twenty in this category. If it were a contemporary light novel, there wouldn’t be any chance at all.
As everyone might have noticed, this book is actually a feel-good novel, completely unrelated to the suspense genre. It should have been placed in the urban category. When the author first arrived at Qidian, they didn’t quite understand the situation, seeing detective stories under suspense, they mistakenly categorized it under suspense.
Never thought suspense would be so unpopular; after posting for four or five days, it barely reached twenty saves, increasing less than five a day. Later, I wanted to ask the editor to change the category to urban, and the editor said to just leave it under suspense. Books in the suspense genre are scarce; there’s no competition for recomndations normally.
Okay, since the editor said so, I just left it in suspense, and later, as the word count increased, the results improved.
The book slightly achieved so results when it hit the new author’s recomndation, gaining over a thousand saves in two days, followed by the smart push. The effect was even better, reaching a thousand saves a day. I thought it was going to take off, but on the fourth day, the smart push traffic was cut in half, with saves dropping to four or five hundred a day.
However, the good news is that the editor said this book made it to Sanjiang. Speaking of which, I must sincerely thank my editor, Nighthawk. If it weren’t for his suggestion to publish the book under suspense, the performance of this book would likely have been disastrous. It might not have even made it through the first round of recomndations, let alone reach Sanjiang. So, I truly appreciate my editor, Nighthawk.

Previously, so readers comnted that the author’s cheat codes were too big and they were worried that the book would collapse, but there’s no need to worry about that. As long as the male protagonist wears a white shirt, the book won’t collapse.
As for the update situation after the launch, the author previously ntioned that they are writing part-ti, not full-ti. Hence, the ti allocated for writing each day is limited, so the updates won’t be very robust: two Chapters of 4,000 words at minimum daily. Updates will be more frequent on Saturdays and Sundays. On the day of the launch, it will be 11,000 words, five Chapters, and in the evening, three Chapters after entering V, with two more Chapters the following afternoon.
To all readers planning to keep the book on your shelf, I implore you, my patrons, to support the book on its first day by placing your initial order. As for whether the book will be left unfinished, you need not worry. An experienced author with several million words written will definitely finish the book.
