This made the Great Emperor feel very embarrassed, his entire face becoming increasingly somber, yet within that somberness, there was a hint of relief.
Indeed, he was relieved that everything that just happened was an illusion.
The Great Emperor had no ti to relax.
Suddenly, he sensed sothing hard in the lining of his chest pocket.
The Great Emperor was startled, he didn’t rember putting anything inside his jacket.
Out of curiosity, he reached into the pocket of his suit to see what it was.
The next mont, he touched a sharp blade and felt a sensation of sticky liquid.
The Great Emperor’s expression changed, and he hurriedly pulled out the object he had touched, only to see a knife identical to the one held by the woman in red earlier, dripping with crimson blood, appearing right before his eyes!
...
Little Days.
Xiong Wen Si Lang was the most powerful figure in that area.
Because the ti in Little Days was similar to Huaxia Ti, albeit one hour ahead.
Therefore, it was already bedti.
Xiong Wen Si Lang was no exception, lying asleep in a house resembling an ancient wooden structure, with a bamboo grove outside.
He always had good sleep quality and was rarely disturbed.
However, for so reason today, Xiong Wen Si Lang, who was in deep sleep, suddenly woke up in a daze, though not fully awake.
He vaguely heard the whistling of the wind outside, blowing the door with a sound like ghostly cries.
Xiong Wen Si Lang struggled to open his eyes, seeing moonlight shining through the window where twisted shadows seed to crawl on the ground, trying to stand up!
Wind blowing.
Moonlight, shadows twisting, crawling on the ground trying to rise!
This sensation was so eerie it could frighten soone to death!
"Ghosts! Ghosts!"
While shouting internally, Xiong Wen Si Lang desperately wanted to cry out for help, but he couldn’t utter a sound, like soone trapped in a nightmare, knowing that everything happening was false, yet unable to wake up!
This feeling of helplessness and panic.
Xiong Wen Si Lang was terrified to the extre, nearly fainting from fright.
Fortunately, the situation didn’t last long.
Just as he was on the verge of collapse, Xiong Wen Si Lang suddenly sat up, finally escaping the dreadful nightmare.
Still scared out of his wits, Xiong Wen Si Lang glanced around, finding nothing amiss.
He couldn’t help but secretly feel relieved, "So it was just a dream, well, let’s sleep a bit more, got to go to Old Ugly’s tomorrow."
With that thought, he was about to lie back down.
The mont his head touched the pillow, he sensed sothing amiss.
Startled, Xiong Wen Si Lang reached out and switched on the bedside lamp.
Then, he turned his head for a look.
What he saw nearly stopped his heart.
On the pristine pillowcase, there was an embroidery-like "ghost shadow" that had appeared unknowingly.
The sa ghostly shadow crawling on the ground from his nightmare!
...
Similar events were playing out around the world.
Countless people were jolted awake from nightmares, only to find an identical object from their nightmare beside them.
So were so scared, like the Great Emperor, that they wet their pants.
Others were so frightened they nearly had heart attacks and were taken to hospitals.
Of course, the majority were rely left terrified, ntally tornted, though physically unscathed.
Among all these people, if anyone was scared the most severely, it had to be George from Old Ugly’s place.
At that ti, in Old Ugly’s tizone, it was around ten in the morning, and George was discussing sothing with his female assistant.
Initially, the conversation was going well, but suddenly his assistant let out a piercing scream for no apparent reason.
Looking up from his docunts in confusion, George asked, "Annie, what’s wrong?"
To his surprise, the assistant ignored him, emitting a sharp, eerie laugh reminiscent of a wolf’s howl.
A chill ran through George’s heart, not knowing what was happening, he urgently called for security, but no matter how loudly he shouted, there was no response.
Just as he was sweating profusely, the assistant looked at him fiercely, her eyes glowing red, and her hands rising up.
George could clearly see her sharp nails, like long, slender knives, and he realized sothing was wrong.
Sure enough, the next mont, the assistant’s golden hair fluttered without wind, her face twisted, and she lunged at George, shouting with a sharp voice, "Old thing, die!"
"Ah!"
George scread, abruptly raising his head.
But he found that nothing had changed, his assistant still standing beside him, holding the docunts for him to see, as if everything before was just an illusion.
"Hmm? What just happened?"
Wiping the cold sweat from his forehead, George wasn’t sure whether to relax or remain alert.
Before he could catch his breath, the lights in the room suddenly vanished, plunging the surroundings into pitch darkness.
The atmosphere turned eerily silent.
Suddenly, his assistant let out another strange "cackle," her face turning deathly pale.
All over her body, it looked as if a thousand holes had been pierced, spraying out countless streams of thick blood.
So splattered onto George’s face and body, but most pooled on the ground.
In the blink of an eye, the entire floor beca an ocean of blood, and the "water level" kept rising.
Chilled to the bone, George struggled to stand and escape, but found himself completely frozen, unable to move.
This left him both terrified and furious, his mind gripped with fear.
But even this wasn’t the worst of it.
The most terrifying thing was the ghostly assistant getting closer and closer!
Twenty centiters!
Ten centiters!
Five centiters!
Soon, the ghastly assistant’s face was just one centiter from his!
At this point, George could finally see the assistant’s once pale, tender face, now rotten and crawling with maggots!
"Ah!"
George scread in terror, nearly fainting!
Fortunate for him, his scream seed to reset the scene back to normal.
George was utterly bewildered, truly clueless as to what was happening.
He cautiously glanced at the assistant, still engrossed in her docunt presentation, noticing nothing out of the ordinary.
As if the previous occurrences were all hallucinations.
George doubted his sanity for a mont, wondering if there was sothing wrong with his brain.
For a second, he felt like he could never do without ntal health supplents for life!
But he steadied himself quickly, assuming the stress was just too much work.
However, just as he cald, his assistant let out another strange "cackle" sound.
A clutch ford in George’s heart, turning slowly and fearfully, he looked at his assistant’s face.
He saw her transform once more into an even more ghastly "ghost"!
And then...
Yes, George’s eyes rolled back, and he fainted with a flop.
