As he approached the planet, Sylas' thoughts re-focused themselves. He scanned the region with his eyes, but he honestly wasn't sure how much he would see with them alone.

What he was looking for was actually quite specific: Rune Formations.

Going from planet to planet sounded easy enough, but there were other things to consider. An established world like one ruled by the Sylphs had a decent chance of having a blanket detection Formation over everything.

The skill it took to deploy such a formation was actually quite high, and the odds that the Sylphs had a Rune Master with such skill was, ironically, very low. The reason Sylas felt that there were good odds such a formation existed here was twofold.

For one, there wasn't just one way of deploying such a formation. Sure, relying on a Rune Master made sense. But it was also just as valid to rely on a World Treasure of so sort—one that communicated with the Core of a World directly to coordinate and forge sothing like this.

And second… it had already long been established that the Sylphs were just pawns in this greater war—whatever this greater war was.

When taking this into account—especially given the fact that this was a planet that just might be at the center of everything related to the Sylphs' machinations—Sylas was certain that such a formation would exist.

Unfortunately, knowing it was there and being able to do sothing about it were two different things. And so was actually finding it.

Sylas might have all the talent in the world, but he was still ultimately just an F-Grade Rune Master. The fact he could see E-Grade Runes and decipher between them and F-Grade ones at all was a miracle he took for granted. Such a thing might even be more impressive than reaching Rune Spark.

However, Sylas did have a trump card in his hands, and that was the very existence of the vessel beneath him.

The Thryskai.

They were the dominant Race of their galaxy for a reason, and their technology existed on a different plane entirely compared to everyone else. In addition, even if the Sylphs did receive external help to set this formation, the amount of help they could receive was most definitely limited.

The question was… was the help the Thryskai received better than the help the Sylphs received…

Or maybe, just maybe, they were one and the sa.

There was a sudden flash from the vessel, and it slipped through.

Sylas' eyes narrowed. 'Passed through undetected… no, almost undetected. They'll definitely co and investigate this location in particular, but by then I'll already be on the planet. The question is how good will they be at finding .'

This was a gamble to be sure. If they had a treasure like the World Scepter he had sacrificed to pass the Summoning, there would be little Sylas could do to save himself. He would just have to wait for death.

The odds this planet had a D-Grade sowhere on it were decent, and worse yet, Sylas wasn't anywhere near undefeatable even among weak E-Grades.

Sure, he had faced off against a mid-level 60, but that was under the constraints of the Level 30 Bazaar, and even if it wasn't, there were still more than 30 Levels beyond that.

But Sylas also knew that if he didn't gamble with his life like he always had, there would be no pleasing the All-Seeing Eye.

No matter what, he had to co out on top.

The mont the vessel touched ground—or rather hovered—blowing snow and sending a spiraling storm of white into the surroundings, Sylas jumped out, storing it away in the Madness Key.

The vessel itself could only fit one person, but it was of decent size, being at least four ters from tip to tip. Even so, the Madness Key had long reached a point of being able to store items much larger than that. Sylas didn't even bother to asure its size out completely anymore—he had several football fields' worth in there.

Sylas closed his eyes and focused, not leaving the region instantly. The Ice Aether in the region seed to whisper to him, and the gaps in the snow his descent had created were slowly swallowed up under his control. But this was sothing that mostly happened passively.

What Sylas was truly focusing on was his Luck.

Whether there was a D-Grade here or not, what Sylas was certain of was the fact his Luck would definitely play a pivotal role in his success here.

His eyes flashed open. 'It feels so clear…'

Looking off into the distance, Sylas knew that that was the direction he needed to go. What he was looking for was certainly over there.

But what he didn't understand was why his Luck was so sharp here. He imdiately knew that he was missing sothing.

Luck was all relative, and there were too many things working against Sylas here.

For one, there was certainly a D-Grade here that stood opposed to him—likely several of them. That shifted the weight of the Luck considerably away from him. As powerful as his Luck was, crossing two tiers was extrely difficult.

Sylas had a better understanding of just how high his Luck was, and he knew that the vast majority, regardless of tier, had just 1 Luck. So this D-Grade could very well have fractions of a fraction of his Luck.

However, Luck was only one factor in deciding things. Tier definitely weighed far heavier.

Second, this wasn't his world. The Core of this World would be hostile to him and make his Luck even more difficult to use.

Then on top of that, there was whatever outside interference there was allowing the Sylphs a helping hand—that should add to the degree of difficulty. Who knew if there were C-Grades, or maybe even stronger, tipping the scales here.

So why was…

Sylas' gaze blazed.

His plan. It would definitely work. His confidence shot through the roof.
