"Why haven't you acted already?" Mospheral asked indifferently.

"I… this… District Head… this…"

This was a ridiculous ask, and Mospheral knew it. Setting aside the level of investnt it would take to establish such a call in the first place, there was the obvious elephant in the room.

If the Main Clan sent soone here—or even interfered in the slightest—it could lead to death.

How many had the Crimson Eye killed in just the last few weeks alone? The entire power balance of the galaxy had shifted completely because of this event.

There was a reason why, even with the appearance of the Legendary System and all the oddities happening here, no one dared to step foot into the Skai 11331 Galaxy—for fear of what that might an.

In fact, even those who had vaguely sensed the change and connected the dots from a distance speculated that it was because of the All-Seeing Eye that the modern system was so infuriated—which made logical sense on the surface.

In this situation, the Main Clan might bring down forceful punishnt just for contacting them in the first place. And even in the case that, by so miracle, Mospheral managed to convince them to act—even if he had been right—if the one who ca died, once again…

The only path forward would be death.

"Do it," Mospheral commanded.

Sylas shook awake, coughing once, then twice. Bits and pieces of charred flesh left his mouth, but when he looked around him, all he found was an endless darkness.

Despite what ca from his lips, he was actually perfectly fine. While he was out, his healing factor had kicked into high gear, and he had fully healed quite quickly. As for the darkness around him… well, that was Gogo's body.

He had kept himself fused with Nosphaleen, knowing that this would be a layer of protection. But clearly, sothing had happened that made Gogo antsy nonetheless.

Sylas shook his head, pressing a hand against Gogo's coiled body to slowly stand. Gogo felt his change but was also smart enough not to move.

Right now, Sylas was within the coil of Gogo's body, the sun blocked from view by what must have been Gogo's head. There wasn't much shaking or rumbling around, so it was unlikely that Gogo was being attacked. But clearly, his contract was in a very defensive position.

After Sylas adjusted himself, he finally managed to go through Gogo's mories and see what had happened. When he finished, he didn't even shake his head. He found it to be predictable.

However, it was a risk he had to take. The chance displayed before him wasn't sothing he could afford to miss.

Using the All-Seeing Eye to destroy the Greed Seed was a stroke of genius, but it would only work if the Crimson Eye was present to protect him at the sa ti. Sylas had no thod of triggering both things to happen outside of this chance he had received.

It was because he had beco a Royal Hero and triggered a change in his Profession at the sa ti that both had ended up clashing. If not for the fact that the All-Seeing Eye had given him a Profession Upgrade Quest—and the system had wanted to reward him for taking a new step forward with Nosphaleen—this would have never happened.

Such a stroke of luck could only possibly appear once. Or at the very least, Sylas didn't know when it might ever happen again, so he had to take the chance.

The fact that so would try to take advantage while he was out didn't surprise him in the slightest. In fact, it almost seed like the obvious route for things to go down.

The Clypsians were currently arguing about how to deal with him. Unsurprisingly, they thought that he was completely out of it—maybe even dead.

It was hard to bla them, considering he had looked like a charred ss. As for them trying to deal with him, Sylas didn't really care either.

All things considered, he was the reason so many of them had died just now. They had probably lost upwards of 60% of their elites during the suicide mission he sent them on. They had their reasons to be angry.

But so what?

Sylas' feet slowly left the ground and he began to rise up. Gogo obliged and moved his head, allowing Sylas to finally see the skies above.

"We—"

The Clypsians froze, their gazes all landing on the floating Sylas at once.

Sylas, seemingly not noticing their presence, calmly landed on Gogo's enormous head, looking down toward the Clypsians with an indifferent sort of air.

The gazes of the Clypsians were steely, but it was clear that all of them were having trouble breathing. Sylas had just killed a D-Grade right before their eyes, and none of them understood how it could even be possible—nor did they want to test it out for themselves.

Vaelmyr, once again, was the one to speak first.

"So you're alive. That's good."

The relief in his voice was true. If Sylas was dead, that would an his daughter was dead too. He didn't want to grieve a second ti.

Sylas didn't reply to these words. He hadn't co here to play house for the Clypsians.

It had to be rembered that his original goal this entire ti was to successfully clear his Profession Quest.

Originally, he had 30 days to do it, of which he had wasted a little over a week. But now… he didn't even have that long. The All-Seeing Eye had used up too much energy fighting the Crimson Eye—and eventually losing in the end.

At most, Sylas had half the ti remaining, a week and a half at most.

But it was a good thing… that he had succeeded.

This ti, his enemies would really taste the fires of hell.

Mospheral was only just connecting his call to the Main Clan of his race, but he could have never expected that this would be the final nail in his coffin.

Just like Sylas had said before, a bridge was a two-way affair. If they could build a bridge to Earth to take advantage of it…

He could reverse it.

So what would happen to the schers in the background if the system finally sensed them?

If they wanted to play with his life, he would gladly oblige.

He would show them what true suffering was.
