Chapter 1168: Rewards (5) [Bonus]
[I hope both sides of your pillow are warm tonight, Chronotitan Glassvolt Duke (Gold)]
The shudder rushed through Sylas and he felt an overwhelming sense of control and roaring might. His heart seed to reflect the open maw of a lion to him, its teeth bared and its almost violent arrogance forming a nearly palpable carnage.
Erald lightning rushed through Sylas, forming at the core of his eyes and extending to the tips of his hair and his claws.
Cassarae’s sapphire lightning seed to react to his presence, lashing out. But a do of control almost shattered the very essence of the blue lightning itself, suffocating it to the point that Cassarae’s lightning could only retreat.
Sylas’ eyes flashed open, his lightning being reined in instantly. But he could still feel the changes churning inside of him, his body flipping and turning in unexpected ways.
But his attention was paying very, very close attention to the Chaos Lord Egg. He wanted to see if the sudden elevation of one would impact the other. But as far as he could tell, there were no changes.
Whatever was going on, whether it was his True Pride Seed or his Glassvolt Heir Gene Class Path, both seed to feed off of one another quite well.
Sylas flipped a palm, streams of lightning taking shape and seeming to want to swallow up the entire town. A single pulse of it ripped through the bounds of the sh of Reality, swallowing everything in its path.
It was just a casual manifestation of it, but the prowess of his Rune was truly on another level.
But…
Now that he had the Glassvolt Duke Gene Class… was he maybe close to being able to use his 100 Foundation Glassvolt Rune to replace his Aether? How much more powerful would he be if he could control that Aether without combusting from the inside out?
There were so many factors and facets to strength in this world. Even if he couldn’t stand at the very peak in all of them, Sylas was sure he could find a path to stand tall on at least so of them.
Sylas exhaled a breath.
“What would my Foundation Grade be now?” Sylas asked.
The little girl shrugged. “Maybe Superior Common. It would be a close call, though. The surer answer is definitely Mid-tier.”
“So it would certainly be Superior if Primal Lord was also Gold Grade?”
“Yes.”
“But not Bronze?”
“You can’t fathom the gap of a grade jump like that. You’d probably have to get them both to Legendary to have a Bronze Foundation.”
Sylas fell into silence, wondering if there was really no way. Even his Professions couldn’t make a difference? His Titles? How much did he need?
“Titles are part of building a Foundation, right?”
“Yes.”
“How much weight does my Enlightened Will Title hold? Why is it not more impactful?”
As far as Sylas knew, his Enlightened Will was basically unheard of. There might not be a single other person in the whole Sector with a Will that powerful, and he was most definitely the only F-Grade.
This was all speculation on his part, but he believed he had a better grasp of things after his stint in the Golden Grove.
“The Titles you see without Grades by them won’t be absorbed. They’re not part of the calculation.”
Sylas frowned. “All of them? What about—”
“Let correct myself. The ones that can upgrade, and have no Grades beside them, won’t be absorbed into your Foundation. They remain.”
Seeing that the little girl didn’t continue, Sylas knew that getting more would require funds he didn’t have. In that case, it was almost certainly related to the impotent system.
This system had an odd way of mixing its own Grading thods with that of the forr Legendary System’s. It almost seed like… whatever foundation it was built on was too weak to stand up on its own, so it needed the All-Seeing Eye’s thods to fill in the gaps.
Ultimately, it was the system that facilitated Sylas’ path forward, so if there was sothing that it couldn’t digest, then it couldn’t be part of Sylas’ Foundation.
That was the bottom line.
