Chapter 1205 Linked

Sylas landed softly, sensing the ground before it ca.

Alex and Jala, however? Well, they crumbled almost too quickly. They may or may not have sensed the ground, but their reaction tis were too slow for it to make a difference.

They stumbled and collapsed, both of them falling on their asses.

Sylas inwardly frowned. Alex and Jala were weaker than him, sure. But they weren't incompetent. They wouldn't fall like that for no reason. But at the sa ti, he also couldn't sense anything odd about this world…

Until the telekinesis that covered him vanished and Sylas'

knees bent under the pressure.

'… How interesting…'

Sylas hadn't felt it before because his Will protected him from it, but this new world they were in—if it could even be called that—was actually one where the gravity was easily 20 tis what they were used to.

Even given their strength, this was a hefty change to deal with. But the problem with worlds that were successfully Summoned was that a gravity change wasn't so simple.

For Sylas, who had finally co to understand telekinesis as an interaction with the sh of Reality, he understood this even more intimately.

A change to gravity ant a change to how things affected the sh of Reality—or more specifically, ti and space— and even more specifically than that, the Runes and laws that made them up.

That was to say, a world with heavier gravity often ant a world with Runes that were far more powerful, and Aether that was far more unruly.

This ant that not only would Alex and Jala struggle to move properly in this world, but they would struggle to control their Aether as well. It would feel like the gravitational effect wasn't just on their bodies, but their energies as well.

And that would be its own nightmare to deal with without a doubt.

But it gave Sylas an idea. 'I didn't know I could use my telekinesis like this as well…'

He had already used his Progenitor Fla Ability to increase his presence on the sh of Reality during his battle with Alex. That was how he had made his punches so heavy.

If he expanded the scope, he could almost use it like a Domain that slowed the abilities of others to cast Skills and various techniques.

As for this world, he was immune.

Sylas' shield of Aetherflow appeared again.

"Try to keep up. Your Will is capable of countering this world's gravity if it's strong enough."

Alex and Jala had already stood to their feet, looking around at all the darkness around them.

Hearing Sylas' words, they both grimaced this ti.

This was an E-Grade Dungeon. In fact, judging by the fact they had fallen from one contained threat, seemingly right into another, this wasn't just any E-Grade Dungeon—it was a Linked Dungeon.

Linked Dungeons were mutated nightmarish hellscapes where one would proceed from one danger to the next with no end in sight. The worst part? You wouldn't even receive any rewards.

These things only appeared as a result of Demonic Aether, and the presence of the system, as a result, was destroyed.

The system couldn't sense anything that was happening here.

The only rules Linked Dungeons followed were that the further you went, the stronger the Dungeons beca.

If you were lucky, then you might step into a Dungeon that was only a little bit stronger than the one that ca before it. But if you were unlucky, well… the BOSS of this Dungeon might even be a Level 100 behemoth with a penchant for sticking its polearm up where the sun didn't shine.

Alex sighed.

He thought his life alone in this world was already bad enough. Now he had an idea of why Sylas always seed to be so much stronger than him.

This bastard was suicidal.

And now he was asking them to try and keep up with his resistance against E-Grade challenges.

That was impossible!

Still, Alex closed his eyes. A black energy started swirling around him as he tried to manifest sothing from his Will.

He felt the pressure around him alleviate for a mont, but five seconds later, he was already gasping for breath.

His Will tapped out and his hands were on his knees.

Jala had tried the sa, but he hadn't even been able to manifest anything at all. His Treasures had already been confiscated by Alex, and Sylas didn't seem to care enough to get the latter to give them back. So, he felt even weaker than usual, struggling even to stand as straight as he could.

Sylas watched this in silence for a mont before

Summoning Nosphaleen. He didn't believe Gogo needed this sort of training.

"How does it feel?" Sylas asked.

"Holy, where'd this bombshell co from?" Alex spoke through gasping heaves. However, fatigue was temporary.

The numbers ga was eternal. "Hello, miss. My na's Alex, Psycho Syl's most trusted confidant. Don't be subconscious about your tail, I do not discriminate and I know beauty when I see it."

Nosphaleen struggled against the gravity for a mont before a silvery-blue glow began to appear around her.

She withstood it for a mont before looking toward Sylas, and then to Alex.

She had been watching from the Hibernation Realm along with the others from the start, so she knew who Alex was.

Still, this was the first ti she was truly looking him up and down.

"Master, he's…"

Sylas shrugged.

"Fuck . She calls you master? What would Dom—Rae think about this? I won't expose you, Syl. You just have to give a chance."

"Can you shut up for just one minute of your life? We're in the middle of a danger zone, in case you didn't notice!" Jala hissed beneath his own heaving breath.

Sylas didn't say anything about their banter, nor did he address what seed to be Nosphaleen's concerns. Instead, he was looking around as well.

The reason he hadn't done much of that was because even the world around them was pitch black as well. The radiance of his erald Aetherflow didn't go far at all.

But, even as they stood here, nothing happened. Could this Dungeon really be without danger?
