Sylas’ dull eyes suddenly gained an unprecedented focus. His hair lifted up before settling down, his dress shirt bristling in winds that seed anything but natural.
A dense green aura radiated around him for a mont.
The reality was that... Sylas hadn’t tried at all during the F-Grade Rune Master Secret Realms. Even when they saw him crumbling before the Spark Secret Realm, that wasn’t because of the difficulty of the Secret Realm, it was because he was focused entirely on sothing else.
It could be said that from the mont Sylas stepped into this challenge, he hadn’t put in the slightest bit of effort toward actually learning and engaging with the Secret Realms at all...
Because it would have been a complete waste of his ti.
The strength of his Rune Mastery wasn’t sothing that these people could even begin to fathom. But now, it was different. What he was facing right now wasn’t the F-Grade, but instead the E-Grade.
To Sylas... this was where the real gas would begin. Now, he would display his presence as a Rune Master, this beautiful path he had grown to love.
This would be the debut of his own addition to the world of Rune Mastery.
The combination of Ti and Space didn’t seem very obvious. It was a complicated way to see the world of Runes, one so esoteric that it was difficult to even explain.
But what Sylas had done in the Spark Secret Realm was quite simple to him.
He had established a foundation.
He hadn’t ford a new thod of forging Runes just yet. What he had instead done was mastered a new thod of looking at Runes, comprehending them, breaking them down and digesting just what it was he was seeing before him.
Others saw Runes in three dinsions.
He saw them in four.
The Ti To that Sylas had been given back then had allowed him to do sothing quite fantastical. He was able to read Runes in both their past transpositions and future ones.
As Gralith had explained to him back then, Runes were alive. In the hands of Rune Masters, one forged a Rune and it perford one function until it ran out of energy or it was destroyed.
But in the real world, things didn’t work like that. Life was a perfect cycle of things, interacting with one another, amplifying each other’s effects or eroding one another.
If the real world was ford of Runes, then naturally, Runes had to perform exactly how things in reality did.
Ice Runes had to spontaneously beco Water Runes when the forr lted. Earth Runes had to show aspects of Erosion when interacted with Water Runes, or Wind Runes.
Ecosystems, the cycles of a planet or world, the interaction of life and death, the passage of ti, the shifts of tectonic plates, the eruption of volcanoes, the changing of one elent to the next, or the fusion of two into sothing new.
The sa level of complexities one saw in real life should be the sa level of complexity that Runes themselves had.
But Rune Masters were like miniature, incomplete systems of their own, lacking the processing power or skill to possibly form things so grand.
However, Sylas was sure that it was possible, and there were surely Rune Masters out there, sowhere, capable of doing these things.
The Chrono Casting To had given him just a small piece of that, allowing him to watch Runes through all their iterations, across a span of ti, and giving him the ability to adjust.
If he followed this path to the end, he would surely be able to reach that holy level of Rune Mastery.
The Spatial Casting To was similar in its function; it just took a different path. Rather than observing Runes through ti, it observed them through space, reading the imprints that it left on the world already, and predicting the ones that it would leave soon.
It was all a natural, logical progression from one step to the next, seamlessly flowing.
And yet it was incomplete.
As complex as the macro world was... the world of atoms, of chemicals and their bonds, of quantum chanics...
It was on another level entirely, so much so that probability seed to take the forefront of things, as being certain and sure was simply an impossibility.
If it was so complicated just to barely replicate things happening on a macro scale, just how much more complicated would it be to simulate things down to the quantum level?
This was the very sa thought Sylas had had the instant he learned that there was a Spatial Casting To to match with his Chrono Casting To.
That was when he had beco dead set on this path, refusing to give in or give up on it...
Until he finally stumbled into this opportunity.
The beauty of the Spark Realm was that it was perfectly ford of 100 Foundation, F-Grade Runes. There was simply nowhere else in the world that Sylas could have such a perfect environnt for truly perfecting his F-Grade Rune Mastery. Higher-order and more complex Runes would always interfere and make the process too complicated for his current mind to withstand.
Maybe he could wait until he reached a future where those higher-order Runes ca easily to him as well...
But he didn’t want to wait.
And now he had laid down the first shingle.
Right now, his sensory perception toward Runes stood on a level it had never touched before—a level maybe very few across the entire universe had ever touched.
He saw Runes not in three dinsions, but four.

Sylas raised his hands to his sunglasses and slowly took them off as the three by three matrix began to appear before him. His actions almost seed deliberate, almost like the world was making his glasses heavier than they ought to be.
The mont they were off, the Secret Realm shook, an erald tesseract forming around the completed matrix.
