[Bonus thanks to Bryson_Clark... Alright, the grace period is over. Four is just excessive. Have so propriety, so grace, so fucking decorum. But I guess I can't expect class from a man with two first nas, your ancestors were already asleep at the wheel] Sylas' vision swam, and when it solidified once again, he found himself standing in the sa location he had been more than a week ago.

It was like he hadn't teleported across the vastness of the universe at all.

Well, it was like that for him. To those people around him, it was like they were hacking up their als from the last month. The nausea hit them even more violently than the first ti because not only were they not prepped, it was also far too jerky and abrupt.

This wasn't a normal teleportation. It was like they had been ripped back to a completely separate reality.

It was one of the worst things they had ever experienced.

Sylas looked up into the air again, only to find a figure standing high above.

Technically, they weren't just standing in the skies. In fact, they were hovering above the skies of the Scorpion Lineage Moon.

Gralith.

To his credit, the 713th Scorpion Warlord was quick on his feet. He had no idea what happened during the gathering, but what he did know was that whatever Sylas and Ekear had done to release him couldn't have been good.

Knowing their circumstances were probably not the best, he forcefully ended things.

If he was just the 713th Scorpion Warlord of the 073 Sanctum, he wouldn't be able to do this. But he had been fusing with his Spirit Beasts, allowing him to connect with the 001 Sanctum and 007 Sanctum all at once.

Using that advantage, he forced a disruption in all three connections, resulting in the failsafes the main Sanctum had put into place reversing.

These failsafes were actually in place in case the system decided to kick up a fuss about them interfering in weaker Horizons, but Gralith had used it to his advantage.

Ultimately, it wasn't entirely necessary to do things so hastily, but it was clear Sylas had already expected it to happen, while it was always better to be safe than sorry.

What Gralith didn't expect after this was what happened next.

A surge of Karma began to rise up out of the golden staircase, the skies rumbling.

BOOM.

A pulse of golden light filled the air, spreading out so far and wide it covered the entire galaxy in the blink of an eye.

The Spirit Beasts forming the cores of the Lineages all swam out from the Moons they resided in, roaring into the skies in a unified symphony.

Sylas knew what was happening imdiately. It was the other benefit of what he had done.

They were no longer the 073 Sanctum.

They were the 001 Sanctum.

And with that ca a surge of Karma and Luck-the sort of Karma and Luck one would only find in Horizons orders of magnitude more powerful than what one could find anywhere near here.

Pretty soon, their Sanctum would be birthing children with exaggerated strengths and attracting geniuses they likely didn't deserve.

But it also ant sothing else.

There would be quite a few powers very interested in this new center of strength, and right now, the 073-now 001 -Sanctum had no strength to protect it at all.

Sylas seed to have his own thoughts on this matter, though.

Gralith surged down from the skies above, ignoring most everyone but his two disciples. He landed softly, sohow looking both the sa and completely different.

Without a word, Sylas handed over what looked like a jade secretly inscribed with sothing.

Gralith looked at it, then sank his senses into it. After reading it for a mont, he nodded, understanding.

His head turned, landing on the Tiger Lineage. He flicked a finger, and the head of the 713th Tiger Warlord exploded. He flicked another finger, and the heads of several Lion Warlords exploded.

One death of a central figure after another shook the entire square.

Every prominent mber of the Tiger Lineage was entirely wiped out, along with a decent segnt of the Lion Lineage.

Prione couldn't even react in ti. He was amongst the survivors, but his rage was restrained in his throat by his shock.

What the hell was happening?

"You..."

Gralith flicked a finger again, and Prione flinched, thinking he was dead. But instead, the jade almost hit him in the face. Luckily, he reacted in ti to catch it.

Prione frowned, but eventually sank his mind into it much like Gralith had. As he read, his expression twisted and then beca grave.

When his vision cleared, he looked toward Sylas.

On Sylas' very first day... he took down a group of pirates that had been terrorizing their Sanctum for centuries. That day, he caught a traitor—just a single one-but it had nearly caused a great deal of problems. Prione himself had gotten a bad taste in his mouth after that day. In fact, it might have been because that traitor had been a Lion Lineage mber that he hated Sylas so much before even knowing him.

But to think Sylas didn't just find one traitor. He found them all.

This jade had docunted proof of every traitor in their entire Sanctum, indisputable and irrefutable. When had he even had the ti to do sothing like this?

And the fact he waited until this mont to do it... it was like he could have killed them whenever he wanted, but preferred to do it just before they could take advantage of his hard work.

It was almost like he wanted his enemies to taste victory before he ruthlessly crushed them.

The Purvon Clan had, indeed, put their stake in at the gathering. While the Sona and Buri were looking for mbers of their Clan, Sylas knew better.

That mysterious figure's bet wasn't on one of his own family mbers... it was on Sylas himself.

In truth, Sylas had to admire his audacity. In fact, it could be said that Sylas had been outmaneuvered again, this ti because he had no other choice. It was either he screw the Purvon over or he save Gralith. He couldn't do both.

Even though he had killed these traitors, because they had been present during their evolution into the 001 Sanctum, the Purvon still had a claim. aning... The Purvon could encroach on this galaxy at any ti.

Compared to the clumsy thods of the Kaelthar in trying to send a Lineage to join, these thods were on a completely different level.

But if that mysterious figure thought it would be so easy...

They were sorely mistaken.
