Sylas didn't move, staring at the collapsed blue giant as he foad at the mouth.

He thought the actions of the youth just now were particularly stupid, but maybe that was just what arrogance got you. But it also told Sylas sothing else.

He had gotten far too used to fighting against existences with superior and powerful Wills. It had been a very long ti since he had faced anything else. Or, even just soone with average Will.

Whether it was the Sanctum or the Weaver Guild, it was chock full of existences that built their entire foundations on Will. The Seeing Eye Guild, however... was much different. They didn't do things like that.

Their Wills might still be powerful, but it was simply an outward showing of Strength.

This child giant... what was his Will level? Was it even at Enlightened?

Yet, he made the foolish decision of trying to swallow up Sylas' Glassvolt. It was no wonder he ended up like that.

Would a Cryst Emperor go down that easily? Definitely not. If their Intelligence was bound to their Will, they would certainly make sure that their Will was as powerful as possible.

But it seed that everyone else...

Sylas' eyes flashed. Indeed... his Glassvolt Aether was already heavily tied to Will, wasn't it? It wasn't specifically tied to his own Will, but connected with it through proxy. There were so other relations.

Maybe... there was more to investigate in his Glassvolt Aether. There just might be...

Sylas slowly stood to his feet. Since this had happened, it was only a matter of ti.

Aether rushed around him, and a violent turbulence of power descended. In one mont, there was no one at all before him, and in the next, a shadow had phased into being, one that lood almost ten ters in height.

He kneeled by the side of the youth and pressed a palm practically the size of the child's entire body on the latter's chest. In an instant, the Glassvolt that was chewing him up from the inside was ripped out and crushed.

The Royal Blue Troll newcor looked over to Sylas with a glare that chilled the air. Frost grew along Sylas' brows, his lips turning blue, but the cadence of his breath remaining much the sa even as it began to mist in the air.

Shu. Shu. Shu.

The second newcor was a woman... but she had the digitigrade feet of a white fox and the tail of a peacock of gold, silver, ruby, and accents of black.

If not for her feet and this tail, not to ntion the complex feathers that seed to interlock with her more "normal" hair, one wouldn't have been able to distinguish her from a beautiful human woman at all.

A third appeared, and they were likewise a Royal Blue Troll. Then ca a fourth, who seed to be of the sa Race as the woman, but the shades of white and black were completely reversed.

While the woman's fur was all white and her peacock feathers were mostly white with accents of gold, black, and ruby, the man was the exact opposite. He had fur that was all black, his peacock feathers being mostly black with accents of gold, white, and ruby.

As more appeared and the battlefield seed to be fleshed out all the more, it beca obvious that this wasn't a situation where these two were oddities. It sounded quite common for the won of this Race to have be mostly white while their male counterparts were the mirrored opposites.

However, there was a third Race here as well, having skin of pale green to grey, etched in golden tattoos that exuded a complex and hard-to-grasp aura.

No matter who Sylas looked at, though, they were all young. In their early 20s at the eldest, while many of them were in their late teens.

It seed that the Seeing Eye Guild had sent all of their very best F-tiers. But Sylas had never co here to battle against F-tiers. His target to kill was an E-tier.

These people thought that Sylas was already taking a wild gamble. What they had no idea about was the fact that after this, Sylas had every intention of going above their heads... At least, he did, until there was a change.

The first thing that was heard was the swig of a drink. The gulp was so loud one would have thought that a bomb had gone off in the drinker's belly.

And then ca the satisfying sigh.

Salivar proceeded forward with a half-naked woman wearing a choker laced with chains by his side. He, too, was basically half-naked, wearing little more than a loose silk robe he didn't even wear the top half of, instead tying its robes around his waist and letting its top half drag out behind his hamstrings.

"I thought I had more ti, but my grandmother tells that Quickti Events are ti-sensitive, so I guess I'm here."

Salivar yawned, taking another swig of wine.

"What are all of you clowns doing here?" Salivar said, sweeping a gaze across the youths. "Pick one. One from the Royal Blue Trolls, one from the Sachi."

Sylas' gaze flickered once again, but that was because he saw his target. One would have never thought that Salivar was his only person of interest here at all. Instead... 'Royal Blue Trolls?'

Sylas couldn't help but frown inwardly. It was the first ti he had heard of a humanoid Race going by such a naming convention.

Two oddities in a row. How peculiar.

Another two things were clear, though. First, these F-tiers really respected Salivar, almost to the point of fear. No... it really was fear.

Second, they had no idea why he was here.

In truth, neither did Sylas. But the fact he ntioned the only two Races that weren't his own ant...

'It seems that the guild's speculations are correct. But the system won't recognize him as an F-tier like this, which probably ans...'

Salivar didn't wait to see the reaction of the others; he had already turned an eye toward Sylas, looking him up and down.

"What exactly is wrong with you, hm? Did you get dropped on the head as a child?"
