Sylas' steps ca to a pause and he looked up into the skies of an endless white expanse. He didn't seem to be staring into space, though. It was as though he was looking at sothing quite specific.

He was doing this for the sake of completing his Class Quest. If he didn't do this, then he would never be able to achieve the full potential of his Legendary Gene Classes, and it was only natural that such a powerful foundation needed insane things to progress.

But... that didn't an that there weren't other opportunities available.

The matters of Karma and things surrounding it had been pulling him in all sorts of directions for the longest ti already. He felt that it was probably about ti that he establish enough of a wellspring of his own that it wasn't so easy to move him off his position in the future.

This seed as good an opportunity as any...

To let the world know just who Sylas Grimblade was.

BANG.

A pair of small, fair palms of light grey-green slamd into a desk that rocked back and forth with wild abandon. Even given the A-tier strength of the attacker, the material grasped strong. But whether that was because they had held back or if the material was truly that strong... that was its own unknown matter.

Regardless, what was clear was that Ancestor Entrim couldn't quite believe what she was seeing.

It wasn't just her, but the other Ancestors also had their own fierce reactions.

Could they do what Sylas had? Yes, of course. But they also weren't F-tiers.

When Ancestor Entrim had seen that her grandson was surprisingly taking things seriously, her confidence had risen to another tier. But this......

The young master of the Purvon stood in silence, by his side a familiar A-tier standing a respectful step back from him with his head and eyes slightly lowered.

The both of them looked out toward floor-to-ceiling windows that seed to lord over the whole city. From here, they could see practically every corner of the planet.

Yet, it seed as though their eyes could see beyond just the cityscape. In fact, they were watching the very sa thing everyone in the Horizon was seeing. And very soon, people across several Horizons would certainly be watching as news spread far and wide.

Whether the Seeing Eye Guild wanted this matter publicized or not, they would have no choice in the matter.

Fanelei and the other Analei Ancestors all sat in a room of abject darkness, the void hanging all around them. Fanelei, especially, had a cup of wine in one hand and a large leg of beast at in the other. They seed to be the only things that could calm her down just the slightest bit.

But when she saw what happened, her grip subtly tightened and the glass of wine shattered, its bits, pieces, and liquid falling down the length of her palm and drizzling to the ground.

She knew what Sylas had done to accomplish such a thing. The Weaver Guild had detailed information and explanations on so very many aspects of the Seeing Eye Guild. All things considered, collecting information on their entrance exam was the easiest.

But that matter and this one were so very different. If you could just do what Sylas had just done, then soone else would have broken the record a very long ti ago.

A monster... a true monster...

And now the Horizons of Quasi Demi-God powers were all witnessing it in real ti.

Sylas lowered his head as though he had had his fill of staring into the soul of the universe. Without a word, he sat cross-legged, closing his eyes and beginning to breathe smoothly.

Adjusting to the Envy Aether Crystal Maze had been all too easy for him. If in one direction the Envy Aether Crystal Maze was trying to evolve for the sake of efficiently strengthening itself, then all Sylas really needed to do was to make it think that that was exactly what it was achieving.

Envy Aether shared many characteristics with his own Glassvolt Aether outside of just their color. But the core and most important point... Was to understand the Will of the Envy Aether.

Compared to grasping the complex Wills of real living creatures or a variety of beasts, this was orders of magnitude easier.

At that point, all Sylas needed to do was to craft Envy Aether Runes that could communicate with the existence of Envy Aether. There were perhaps quite a few geniuses of the Seeing Eye Guild that could understand the Will of Envy Aether-Salivar was certainly one of them. That was why he could move so fast.

But... how many of them could casually draw a 100 Foundation Aether so perfectly and continuously that the maze would assu it was amongst family and friends?

The maze opened up for Sylas purely because he was providing it with more energy spontaneously and more quickly than it had ever experienced in its entire lifeti.

Sylas didn't even have to do any complicated calculations. All he had done was learn to draw Envy Aether before he even stepped into this place. But... Even Sylas had underestimated himself. Or, more accurately, he had underestimated just what sort of monster he was with Void Rune Mastery... Practicing for a re F-tier Rune? It was entirely unnecessary.

In fact, he drew Envy Aether Runes so perfectly that he wasn't even truly drawing just now. He tapped into its Will while he had been walking just now, and his Pure Spark Seed spontaneously ford the Runes all on its own.

The result?

Maybe only the A-tiers with the sharpest of senses and eyesight could tell that he was Rune casting at all.

To everyone else... it looked like he had just walked and taken a casual stroll forward.

And the worst part for Salivar?

Sylas' actions had grown the maze to the point that...

BANG. BANG. BANG.

Three days later, beaten and battered, Salivar stumbled out from the maze, hacking and wheezing for breath.
