Gralith sensed Sylas' return instantly, but his gaze couldn't help but flicker. He felt like sothing was off.

Usually, he would just leave Sylas be, but this ti he felt compelled to move.

He stepped outside, vanishing until he was high in the skies. He looked out toward Sylas, and that feeling in his chest grew tighter and wilder.

However, he chose not to move.

After learning how far Sylas had gone for him, Gralith had a different sense of understanding toward this disciple of his. Things could either go one of two ways.

It was either Sylas felt that he had already repaid Gralith by saving his life, and could thus now do whatever he wanted-even if that ant putting everything the latter had ever known into direct danger.

Or... it ant that Sylas was about to take a step that, while it might imdiately seem like a huge problem, would ultimately benefit them in the end.

And that was only possible if, and only if... they survived.

At this point, sothing was telling Gralith that the odds of this were very, very low.

He suddenly held out a hand, blocking soone. Ekear had seemingly sensed sothing as well, but before he could act, he was stopped by Gralith from interfering.

"Sothing is wrong. I feel a surge inside of that shouldn't be there. I'm having a hard ti suppressing my usual strength. Is it the promise again?"

Gralith paused for a mont and then shook his head. "No. That debt has already been repaid. We were free from it the mont I left my inheritance on that world."

"Then what is going on? What has Sylas done?"

"That... I do not know."

While the surrounding Horizons were all aware of who Sylas Grimblade was, Horizons that were much further away would still take ti to receive the news, and those that were even further, like the Milky Way Horizon here, didn't stand a chance of ever knowing.

Even the likes of the Petals of the Seeing Thorn simply didn't stretch so far. The only organizations that had their hands in this pot that would have a thod of learning would be the Kaelthar Mortal Thryskai Clan and... Legacy.

That said, Gralith did know that Sylas had only just established connection with a far more powerful organization. And now he had returned with sothing he couldn't quite put words to.

All they could do was stand at a distance and watch.

Sylas' eyes were still closed.

Karma was an interesting thing. It was so important in this world, and yet it had no form, no substance, and very obscure rules that dictated it.

Logically speaking, Sylas' Karma should be that of the Weaver Guild. It was impossible for him to have used the Weaver Guild's na to trigger this Karmic event, and then just up and decide to give it to soone else.

Though the Karma was certainly concentrated on himself currently, it would be naive of him to believe that he couldjust do whatever he wanted with it.

While the Purvon had considered the idea of Sylas taking it for his own family, Rhykan was actually taking into account Sylas' ans and his intelligence.

In reality, there was no straightforward way for Sylas to do this. Any thod he used would have to not only be extraordinarily clever, but it would also cost a great deal.

The fact Rhykan even ntioned it as an option was a sign of respect for Sylas. In action, though, every power in the vicinity-and every periphery power that realized of what happened-was already prepared for the ire of Gods to fall upon the Weaver Guild.

The truth was that... Rhykan couldn't think of a way for Sylas to get the Karma to the Sanctum, and that was why he had never considered the probability of such a thing happening in the first place.

Granted, the Emperor Sanctum was also a power nearing Demi-Godhood. Of course, there were large strata separating such powers, which was why the Emperor Sanctum was deed so much inferior to the Weaver Guild. But it was a reality nonetheless.

If Sylas wanted to block the Purvon from benefiting from his hard work, using the Emperor Sanctum was just as viable an option... if it was possible, that is.

But since Sylas had co here... he obviously felt that it was very much possible.

Rhykan was correct. It was much easier for Sylas to maneuver things to allow his Grimblade Clan to take on this Karma. That was because much of the work had been done by him. He could probably use the Scorned Wraps to obscure the system's vision, then use his own Royal Hero Bloodline as a direct conduit to swallow all of the Karma.

In the monts that the system didn't rember or recall that the Karma was originally the Weaver Guild's, the Karma would be naturally given to Sylas in a 100% ownership form. By the ti the Scorned Wraps halted working their magic, everything would be over and irreversible.

But Sylas didn't have any easy connection to the 001 Sanctum like that. And any attempt to obscure the vision of the system would obviously also obscure the Karma's path to the 001 Sanctum or the Emperor Sanctum.

The reason for this was the sa reason why the Karma was still on Sylas' person rather than having already been divided to the Weaver Guild.

City Steles. Sect Steles. And various territory Steles of the like.

Sylas needed to be within Weaver Guild territory for its Stele to accept the Karma that was rightfully its own.

Obviously, if the system was obscured, the Steles wouldn't work properly, and thus there would be no path to grant anything to the Emperor Sanctum.

But Sylas had another way.

Why could he give the Karma to his family? It was because he had an internal connection to them.

Obviously, he just needed to form an internal connection with the Emperor Sanctum.

As for how he would do that...

It was sothing most others wouldn't think of, but was all too obvious to him.

He just needed to make another contribution to their Spirit Beast Wills.

Sylas' aura surged.
