Sylas' hair danced and sparks of lightning shimred within it. At least, that was what it looked like from afar. But if you looked more closely, it wasn't that lightning was sparking... but instead that his hair itself was flashing toward forms and shapes of Glassvolt, sotis looking like reflective erald crystal, and at other tis like erald bolts.
The world shook and whined, the Runes of A-Grade dley-or what was left of them-reacting in kind and amplifying it several tis over.
'How interesting... I only ca to this conclusion 10% of the ti? Impossible.'
Sylas didn't believe that he would only run into this solution 10% of the ti. When he ran the simulation in his own mind, he tended toward this path a lot more. Logically, the percentages should have shifted toward this.
While it was true that reaching this conclusion was far harder than reaching the others, that didn't sway Sylas in the slightest. He always asured himself by his own standards.
'I see. This is a weakness of the multi-brain model. It has my sequence of neurons, but my Will is perfunctory. It acts more like a battery to the brains instead of the foundation. As such, these brains lack my personality and unique quirks. They only have my raw processing power, and even then, only to a certain extent.'
Unfortunately, Sylas didn't have the ti or bandwidth to try and change sothing like this. In fact, if he were to try, it would be like he was trying to recreate life itself. That was far too beyond him and likely sothing only possible when the seventh Omni Barrier was cracked.
Even as Sylas spent ti on these thoughts, though, he seed far too relaxed for the given situation. He still didn't have enough Wisdom to succeed, and he had just wasted a great deal of his Will on gaining Willborne Intelligence.
Sylas raised a hand and drew a Rune, a Legendary Intelligence Rune. It appeared quickly, ford with such speed it viewed like it had always been there. He crushed it and then did it again, and then again.
On the third attempt, the Legendary Intelligence Rune had successfully beco an E-tier Rune.
He dismissed it and then drew a Legendary Charisma Rune. He likewise crushed it, then tried, and then again, and then once more.
Then, in a beautiful series of golden lights, a Legendary Charisma Gene of the E-tier appeared.
Three Legendary Genes hovered in space.
The air shook. But this ti, it had nothing to do with Sylas as his hands began to draw again. This ti... he was forming a Legendary Will Gene.
"We've arrived."
A voice reached through to Sylas through all his focus. It was the voice of Old Brama, and Sylas only nodded, still focused on forming Legendary Will Genes.
On his third attempt... he succeeded.
Right now, they weren't on Earth, they weren't even in the Milky Way any longer. The mont Sylas had realized A- Grade dley wouldn't work, he began to formulate another plan.
It was a plan that was insane, one that might very well get them killed, but it was the only path he had. If he didn't get Reaper Sealwright now, it would cause a great number of problems.
And he refused to take a step back.
After just a few days of travel, they had made it to the Sector of the Kaelthars. If Sylas was correct, Rhykan would almost certainly have them attack him once Earth's Summoning was complete.
Why not pay them a visit first?
Sylas' eyes flashed and the Omnimous was shocked once again as he felt Sylas practically vanish. He was still there, but it was like he had no real form or substance at all.
The four Runes shuddered as they hung in the air.
The first ti Sylas displayed his Archon Casting, he had gained Primus Luminaria. Since then, quite a lot had happened, and his Rune Mastery had evolved several tis over.
However, Primus Luminaria didn't stack, and without traveling between Sectors to demand their crown of Rune Mastery, there would be no need to regain acknowledgent.
It seed, though... that Sylas was going to have to waste yet another reward.
First his Silver rit, then A-Grade dley, and now his Seeing Eye Guild Primus Luminaria.
Because he would be taking this one instead.
The skies shook as Sylas slowly raised a hand.
Chi.
The Charisma Gene, as though pulled into the Will Gene by strong magnets, snapped into a fused state.
Sylas' brow furrowed, his mind feeling as though it was under a great deal of pressure. If one looked at the sh of Reality, one could see that the space Sylas was distorting was becoming larger and larger.
It felt like if he pushed just a little bit more, he would bend Spaceti no less than a moon would. But this was little more than illusion, one ford by being near Sylas.
However... there was no doubt that one day such a thing would co.
Chi.
The Intelligence Gene snapped into the mutated Gene, making it larger and harder to read. A brighter and brighter gold radiated out in the surroundings. But this "gold" color was little more than illusion.
Those that could see... truly see... saw a rainbow of crystalline colors that reminded one of the gates of heaven themselves.
The world whined, but Sylas remained steady.
Blood leaked out from Sylas' eyes, veins popping along his skin. It seed as though he was about to burst entirely, but as much as the rest of his body was shaking, his pupils and his hand remained as steady as a mountain. Unshaking. Unmoving.
"Co." Sylas responded coldly.
It felt as though the voice ca from the void itself, radiating with an abyssal might and undeniable command.
The Wisdom Gene shook and then inched closer, then closer still, then more once again.
Sylas hadn't even succeeded when a Crown began to appear above his head. The faint outline was painted into the world.
And then the Wisdom Gene snapped.
