Sylas felt the eye of sothing enormous. It shook his concentration, almost pulling him out of his state of focus entirely. If that had happened, it would all be over for him, he knew that well.
Everything he was doing now required a delicate balance, and he was the bridge between him and this world here. And without this world, he was finished.
"Stay here." Sylas said calmly, speaking to Gogo and Nosphaleen. "You, co with ."
The Duchess' gaze flickered. Sylas' expression right now was incredibly frail. A mont ago, he had seed fine, but right now he was covered in cold sweat as though he was enduring sothing unfathomable.
That eye continued to linger over Sylas, but if not for the reaction of his body itself, one would have never thought that it was there in the first place.
With a step, Sylas entered his Hibernation Realm and an expanse of grey splayed out before him. There were only two exceptions... A small tree, one with leaves of space and ti, sparkling with silvers, and blacks, and whites.
And then there was the city.
Sylas had seen Fragnted City Steles before at their starts. He had seen Common ones, even Bronze ones.
Every single one of them was bland, weak, small, insignificant. They didn't even have walls made from material more substantial than hay and mud. Their structures were ford from fabrics and poles of wood. Even their ground itself was dusted and covered in dirt.
Sylas didn't expect much more from a Legendary City Stele, even if it had swallowed up so of the territory of another.
Though a Legendary City Stele could steal the Experience of a city by doing sothing like this, the trouble with that was that what Experience a lower-level city could give a Legendary City in the first place was so limited that it wasn't even worth considering. It was worse than a drop in the bucket.
It was insignificant.
That was why Sylas didn't expect what he saw here at all.
He saw walls ford of beautiful silver bricks, polished and set down. They were connected by a mortar that peered like the most gorgeous welds known to man.
On either side of the gates, there were tall outlook stations ford of the sa silver, but they had a most rustic tone to them that played well over the more shimring nature of the walls and the black façade of the heavy gate.
Behind the walls and outlooks was the enclosed city itself. The roads were paved of the sa silver brick, and though it was mostly tents, the fabrics were thick and looked as though they had been ford from the fur of thick seals.
At the center of it all, there was a cabin ford of sleek black tal. It half viewed like the garage of an ultra-high- end mansion, if such a mansion would have had a one-car garage in the first place. But even the doors were exactly as large as one might expect from a garage, almost like it was a place the villagers that spawned were ant to rush to in case of danger.
In fact, Sylas was pretty sure that that was exactly why it was like this.

Sylas stared at it for a while.
That damned eye was still there, the pressure of soone he was sure was an Ancestor of great power continuously pressing down on him.
Whoever it was knew they couldn't interfere. But as always, the system seed to have crevices and weaknesses that could be taken advantage of.
"Alright." Sylas said coldly. "I na my territory Sky Roaming."
ROAR.
The furious echo pierced into Sylas' skull. His nose leaked blood and his eardrums burst, but as quickly as the roar ca was as quickly as it retreated.
Sylas didn't need to guess what happened. The Ancestor Azurex had overstepped its bounds and been punished. If it wasn't dead, then it was certainly injured. And even if by so miracle it managed to not be injured, it was certainly in a state now where it wouldn't dare appear easily.
They crawled on their bellies instead of road the skies now, and they wanted to turn their anger against him instead of the system that put them there in the first place?
"Who do you think you are?" Sylas didn't seem to speak to anyone in particular, but the Duchess felt as though her entire body had gone icy cold... before one particular point in her lower belly beca especially hot.
She looked away.
A radiant gold light ca from Sylas as he fused with the Hollow Wing. In an instant, he was back to his full potential. In fact, his Hibernation Realm's abilities were even greater now than ever before.

Sylas knew exactly why it asked him rather than just doing it. There was a City Defense coming up very soon. If he spawned them now, they would be Level 0. Not only would they be Level 0, but so among them might not be combatants at all. In fact, many of them wouldn't be.
A City needed to spawn workers, common citizens, and just because it was a Legendary Spawn didn't an you could get sothing legendary out of it. It only ant that the odds were a little bit better of you landing on sothing truly great.
However... Sylas had noticed sothing interesting about his city.
It had a design and character to it that new cities definitely shouldn't have. It was almost like it had already been fused with a Fortress Type Treasure, but Sylas had no such thing on his person.
He had run into Fortress Type Treasures before, but nothing worthy of a Legendary City.
That ant that the only reason his city could possibly have such character was because of... His gaze turned and landed on the Spaceti Tree. Then they narrowed.
Sothing outside his calculations had happened.
'In that case...'
Sylas accepted. He would spawn them now.
