"So now, Nobel, I will give you two choices. Step down and fall into obscurity or die."
"No one will believe you." Nobel said coldly.
Malikhi smiled. Nobel was right. If it was so easy to pick out the details of this, the Lubon would have done it already.
The problem was that the politics of a Guild were complicated. The Lubon might be their best information collectors, but with that ca an inherent skepticism and scrutiny from the other Clans.
If there was 100% trust, that would be great. But on the other hand, if there had been 100% trust, Nobel's plan would have already succeeded.
The Lubon might be quasi-enemies with the Analei for good reason, but the Lubon had their own other quasi- enemies within the Guild as well. The Rizen Clan, for example, had been blocked by the Lubon Clan several tis from going into wars they wanted as well.
Compared to the calculating Lubon, the Rizen were far more fiery and unhinged. Ironically enough, after the Lubon stalled the war with the Seeing Eye Guild to the point it instead beca a cold war, that beca the last straw for the Rizen.
They couldn't stand the Lubon at this point, believing them to be pacifists that were riding their Guild into the ground.
This was just one set of relationships. Over so many years, there were an endless number of such potential problems and issues that had crept up.
Soone as old as Nobel was very good at not only understanding these dynamics, but knowing exactly how to press them and when to do so.
How else could a single man do all of this?
But like Malikhi had said... he ca prepared.
He raised up his hand and a necklace began to dangle from it, swaying from side to side.
"What is-."
Nobel's eyes opened wide. "IMPOSSIBLE!"
The roar would have shaken the world had they not been trapped in the void.
"Yes, indeed." Malikhi said with a cold glint in his eyes.

[1. Levoc Kikochi - 4,333,332]
[13. Sylas Grimblade - 1,001,683]
"I t him." Malikhi said calmly. "I wonder what he would think about what was going on here now? Tell , how powerful do you think he's grown."
Fanelei's eyes opened wide.
There was one man she had thought of while Sylas was breaking records, one man she always thought of. But the man had disappeared for so long that they had all assud the sa thing.
He was dead.
It seed that... they were wrong.
The aura of sothing the likes of which they had never felt before radiated out from the necklace. It sohow seed capable of swallowing even the void itself, filling its every nook and cranny until it was on the verge of bursting.
For the first ti since all of this began, even Sylas' expression shifted.
'S-tier.'
Nobel took a stumbling step back, shaking from head to toe.
Levoc was a complete anomaly, a man who hadn't been part of any one of their seven Clans, but had joined their Weaver Guild as a common man before systematically shattering every one of their records until he stood alone at the peak of it all.
Even so long after his disappearance, the shadow he left over them all was so very strong.
The greatest example of this was the strongest amongst their seven Clans and Races, the Drevak.
Even to this day, the strongest Founding Ancestor of them all was Onalee Drevak... Levoc's wife.
Levoc was never known to be the sort that was heavy-handed with his help. Yet, his light influence alone had placed the Drevak faintly beyond the rest of them despite them having the simplest abilities of them all.
"You wouldn't want him to return and find out you nearly wiped out his wife's Clan, now would you? I wonder how he would react to sothing like that?"
This ti, Nobel had no words to reply. He had gone as pale as a sheet of white paper, his expression sothing to behold.
Sylas slowly stepped off of the platform, brushing past Nobel as though he wasn't scared for even a mont that the man would attack.
He paused in front of Malikhi, looking at the necklace that dangled and feeling the presence of the aura radiating from it.
Standing here, he could feel an oppression that went beyond anything he had ever seen before, but it was completely different from what one would have expected from Will. was a completely different sort of pressure.
'Fascinating.'
Malikhi put the necklace away, ignoring Nobel as well.
"Sylas Grimblade. I believe we have t before, but I would like to more formally introduce myself this ti. I am Malikhi Analei, Founding Ancestor of the Analei."
He reached out his small hand to shake Sylas'.
Sylas had, indeed, t Malikhi before. It was thanks to Malikhi he had thought to check out the rulebook of the Weaver Guild in the first place, and he had helped guide him through their libraries. He had even helped to disperse people after he broke their records.
It could be said that Malikhi had been a great help to him for a while already. Sylas couldn't help but wonder if he thought such a day would happen from the very beginning, or if he had just been prepared for the possibility.
Sohow, the latter was scarier.
Soone who prepared for every possibility was far stronger than soone who was certain of a single outco and prepared for it alone.
Unless, of course... you could do the latter with 100% success, sothing even Sylas could not do.
Sylas reached out his hand and shook Malikhi's as though it wasn't a child standing in front of him at all.
Malikhi allowed himself a small smile.
"The road ahead will not be simple. There may still be so pushback from the Analei as their belief in you is not as strong as my own, but I can assure you it will be limited and muted.
