The stand-off of Deuvuo and Juxi versus the Cryst Emperors left the air feeling frosty, a heaviness pressing down on every one of them.

Despite their tempers, both Deuvuo and Juxi knew that the situation wasn't good. They were outnumbered, and even if they were confident in their individual strengths, dealing with a genius of another Heaven was tough.

It wasn't only because the Impotent Symptom didn't have a complete path for them, but also because the abilities of those from other Heavens tended to be exceptionally difficult to deal with. They had completely different philosophies, and the habits and reflexes they had built through years of battle could easily be fooled by the Cryst Emperors doing sothing they had never seen before.

Knowing this, they would have to fight extra cautiously, which would limit their strength even further. But by comparison, the Cryst Emperors would have been fools not to thoroughly study their enemies before arriving for an invasion.

They were definitely far more prepared.

Who would have thought that just when the duo was expecting a battle, Alpine raised a hand and then pointed toward the Dungeon.

"We will go. Now." His words didn't leave any room for talk-back. But none of his companions seed to mind it. They knew why Alpine made this decision.

This Dungeon would be incredibly unpredictable. For all they knew-though the odds were low-Sylas could already be on the verge of clearing it right this instant.

Plus, there was a limited ti for them to enter and solidify the current path of the Dungeon. If they waited too long, the Dungeon might not even allow them to enter.

Usually, a Dungeon would have a defined entry limit, but everything about a Mutant Dungeon was variable. It didn't even have a proper description.

The six shot for the gate. Deuvuo and Juxi made no attempt to stop them. Instead, they looked toward one another and nodded seriously for maybe their first genuine exchange since stepping onto this planet. Then they shot inside.

ndy finally managed to pick himself up from the ground in the distance.

There were still many other threats on the tortoise's back, but it was well known that its Dungeons never allowed anything at or above the B-tier to enter. If he could just make it.

'Dammit.' ndy cursed, bringing out a valuable healing vial from his stores. He didn't want to use this so early, but his healing factor wasn't working at all for so reason. There was sothing about Sylas' strikes that were almost impossible to heal naturally from.

Almost like chaos was surrounding his wounds.

ndy popped the bottle and tilted his head back. But the instant he made to take his first gulp, a shadow appeared to his side, ripping a hole right out of his neck with a pair of jagged teeth.

The Glutton held ndy's shoulder in one hand and ndy's skull with the other, peeling the two apart as he sucked the healing potion right out of his neck, and then all of the blood ndy had.

It was only half a minute before the Glutton dropped ndy to the ground, a pair of blood red eyes looking ahead toward the portal as his ghastly wounds healed.

To say that the Glutton had seen better days was a severe understatent. Cuts deeper than even bone littered his body. One of his legs was dragging behind him limply, the other holding his entire weight. His back was split open like a blooming flower, his beating heart entirely visible from the back. The wound most difficult to look at, though, was the one on his face. It looked like soone had caught a skin tag at the edge of his jaw and ripped it up, degloving half his head of its skin.

ndy's healing potion was truly magical. Every second that passed, another one of these ghastly wounds was being slowly nded in real ti.

By the ti the Glutton was raising his limping foot to take a step forward, it too had begun to heal enough that it had truly solid movent.

The Glutton rose into the air, a deep brown color enveloping him as he flew closer toward the portal.

"Where do you think you're going, exactly? You stay behind here, pretty boy."

The na was clearly an insult. It couldn't have been true, not when the Glutton was missing half of his face.

But the Glutton didn't seem to care to take even a single pause. He knew that the fugitives on this world only fell into two categories. Either they were too strong to be allowed to enter, or too cowardly to do so.

This one fell into the too forceful and thus very much jealous category. He didn't dare to step out to stop the likes of Sylas and the others, but he must have thought the Glutton was an easy target. After all, as a B-tier, why would he fear a freshly minted C-tier like the Glutton?

The B-tier laughed in rage. In his opinion, it seed that the Glutton had a death wish.

He flashed forward, appearing in front of the Glutton in an instant with a swinging axe that carried the montum of a world.

A small world.

The Glutton's teeth flashed and he chomped down on the swinging blade as though he had no fear of losing his head.

It shattered to pieces.

It all happened so fast that the B-tier didn't even realize until he was spinning like a top, the montum of his body carrying forward with an axe handle empty of blades.

He at no ti got a chance to turn back around.

The Glutton caught the top of his head, pressing it down and crushing it into pulp before taking a huge bite of it.

The more he ate, the more vigor he was filled with. By the ti he made it in front of the portal, it was like he had been completely reborn.

"Sylas... Grimblade..."

An inferno of fury filled the Glutton's gut as he took a step into the portal.

This Dungeon, too, interested him. What better ability for a Glutton than to beco a Devourer of Worlds.
