[Bonus thanks to SongfulSalt. And when I'm done I'll piss on your grave, I promise you that.] There was only one question left looming over the horizon, the only question he needed to care about right now.
How should he take advantage of his Tri-Class Constitution to maximize this?
If all he wanted was a Class that poured everything into maximizing his stats, turning all of his potential into tangible results, then he really only needed one Class to do that efficiently.
If he started adding other Classes, it would be redundant.
Sylas thought of focusing maybe one Class on his Physical Core Stats, the second on his Mental Core Stats, and the last on his Will. But that felt like a waste of time too.
He was sure he could make the perfect singular Class to acplish all of this. If he chose that route, he would just purposely be making three weaker Classes.
And for what? Just to fill in space?
That wasn't really his style.
However, the moment Sylas started thinking down a different path, he already felt he knew what the answer was.
One of the biggest issues with raising your stats too high were Gene and Stat Limits. The closer you got to them, and the more strength you had, the less potential your body had.
As a result of that, your Healing Factor would take a huge hit, your training efficiency would tank, and there would be little improvement to hope for.
Granted, that was technically a good thing.
Your Healing Factor worked less because you were already at your limit of potential. If you were getting injured in such a state, you might as well just procreate and die, in the universe's opinion. What good were you at that point?
But Sylas didn't want that.
He already knew that if he used a Class to maximize all his stats through his prehension of his body, he would have a pitiful Healing Factor as a result, and his body wouldn't display any of the elasticity he needed it to have.
So… what if he focused an entire Class on making space exactly for that?
If one Class focused on maximizing all his stats, then this second Class would act exactly like a Void Class would, making space in his body where there shouldn't be any, practically cloning it while within the same space.
This was how he could incorporate his prehension of the void into his body.
On the one hand, his body would think it was already at its full potential. But on the other, it would think there was an endless amount of room to grow.
This would allow him to continuously break his own limits, making the first Class stronger, while he would also have the benefit of storing excess energy he would otherwise waste in a Healing Factor to break and shatter all Healing Factors.
Finally, that just left the last Class.
And the moment Sylas had the first two, he knew what the last one simply had to be.
A body that was both constantly excavating potential and thought there was still an endless amount more to dig through sounded amazing. But to Sylas, it certainly had another name.
A malignant tumor.
What was that if not a perfect description of cancer?
If he allowed those two Classes to coexist alone, they would eat him alive until there was simply none of him remaining.
What he needed was an avenue of control, a hub for his body, his prehension, his telekinetic martial arts, his dominion over the world.
Sylas knew what the third Class had to be, but he wasn't quite sure exactly how to forge it.
The first Class would be born from his Rune Mastery. The day he reached True Fathomless Rune Creation, he had been able to form a perfect clone of himself, and it was that understanding that would form the foundation.
The second Class would be born from his Void Mastery. It was the emptiness within existence that he needed to pull on, to take advantage of.
But the third Class…
What could possibly control these two things?
They needed a directing light. They needed guidance.
The more Sylas thought about it, the more he realized it could only be one thing.
Maybe the impotent system wasn't so wrong to treat it as something that wasn't part of the other Core Stats. It didn't fit into even Mental Stats, and it certainly didn't fit into Physical Stats… Many thought that this was a mistake, but maybe, just maybe…
The impotent system could see further than anyone gave it credit for.
The only answer it could possibly be was his Will.
It was the core of everything, and he had already mastered his telekinetic martial arts to the point where even the individual Genes of his body could be controlled… So why not take it a step further and make an entire Class out of it?
An entire Class that would force every one of his Core Stats to be Willborne.
Would it be a true Willborne Stat? No. At the very least, not outside of his Charisma and Intelligence. But it would certainly be a quasi-Willborne Stat.
And the day he prehended what it meant to be Willborne in the other Core aspects…
Was the day that his Classes would once again evolve.
At that point, would he still need a Coronation from the Heavens? Would he still need the old man…?
Only time would tell.
Sylas' eyes glowed with a fiendish light.
With this path, he wouldn't need that much time to finish his Classes at all. In fact, since he was only demanding of them to make use of what was already within him and what he would create himself… He would still have a lot of Evolution Energy left over as well.
All he was missing now was a breakthrough into the C-tier. However…
Why not elevate his limit beyond the D-tier first?
In the depths of the Creation Tower, a trio of Classes that had never been crafted before graced the world.
And the impact they would make the moment Sylas stepped out would silence even the God Plane.
