'I guess this is why they were more interested in spreading their ssage… it's a subtle ntal imprint that makes enemies turn to allies over the course of a long period of ti. Luckily, it's only an F-Grade Rune, but maybe that's all they thought was necessary for "us"…'

That said, there was sothing else interesting they learned.

Sylas had allowed Nosphaleen to control the questions and didn't guide her much. So it wasn't much of a surprise that the first things she had asked about were related to the capture of her bloodline and what they were being used for.

She seed ignorant to much of these matters.

The plot to use her as a bridge seed like the only answer they needed to make things make sense, but the secondary reasons left Nosphaleen infuriated… and for good reason.

At least for the Stormveil bloodline, the value of the Clypsians went far beyond just their use as a bridge to Earth, but in their elental prowess as well. The Stormveils believed that the Clypsians were their road to the D-Grade.

It was odd to say considering the Clypsians, as powerful as they were to the people of Earth, were still an F-Grade Race, while the Sylphs were already of the E-Grade.

But it went to show how much potential the early Races of Earth had.

If not for the fact Aurion hadn't been able to unlock any of his Classes, Genes, or Skills before he faced off against Sylas for the first ti, defeating him wouldn't have been nearly so easy even for the current Sylas.

The gap between F-Grade and E-Grade Races wasn't sothing that could be bridged by just stat points alone. It was also questionable if Sylas' stats were even better than Aurion's to begin with. That he wasn't sure about, though he had good reason to believe that they were.

That said… Sylas never felt a threat from Aurion. At best, he felt that the Sylph was stronger than what he displayed.

The true threats he would face this ti were the two that shared the top three with him.

The others, he would crush just as swiftly… not because he was so arrogant, but because if he couldn't at least do this, then his chances of succeeding would be next to zero.

**

Lorien watched as Sylas suddenly jumped up by 173,110 Silver Genes, her eyes narrowing.

There was a wistful pink mist to her hair, making her look far more ethereal than real. Right now, with her true face showing, instead of that of the woman who seed to always do her very best to seduce Ulrik, there was an almost heavy air to her.

It was an air that commanded respect and obedience. One that made a person feel as though they should walk on tenterhooks around her.

'He took down a city,' she concluded. 'That Sylph's na disappeared, it must be his…'

[Quest Leaderboard]

[1. Lorien Myst - 275,000]

[2. Sylas Grimblade - 218,470]

[3. Ulrik Vecunish - 118,025]

The thods she knew to gain that many Silver Genes in one go were few and far between. None of them could be executed in such a short ti.

This ant that Sylas had certainly chosen the path of personal power. But if that was the case, how had he grown powerful enough to take down a city on his own with just 360 Genes?

'The Rune Armor.'

She had seen Sylas use it before, but without his body there, she hadn't been able to sense the stat increases it gave clearly. After all, their body had only been one of Will Projections.

'Just how powerful is it?'

Suddenly, she was very curious about this armor.

But if that was Sylas' greatest reliance, he would be in for a rude awakening.

Before all of this began, she knew that her greatest enemy would be a Thryskai. She could easily crush Ulrik in a Will Projection battle, but when Ulrik had access to his full body, and the Unique Genes of the Thryskai to tap into, her inferior Race and its weaknesses would rear its ugly head.

This was why she was going so far, taking so many risks. When you had a weak background, this was the only way to change things.

If she knew all of this already—especially since she knew that the Thryskai had their own unique Rune Armor—how could she not be prepared?

In this domain of hers…

Rune Masters outside of herself would be rendered impotent.

There was a flash in her violet-pink eyes, the mist radiating from her hair increasing in its output.

**

Phyrex's eyes narrowed when he saw Aurion's na vanish. Anyone with half a brain could connect this to Sylas' jump in Silver Genes. It had happened too close to one another.

This Sylas… he was the sa one that was on the Dungeon leaderboards, the sa one that appeared on the Titan Leaderboard… the sa one who killed his uncle.

He knew the na well. He had lost count of how many tis he had seen it, appearing, flashing, and dominating in field after field.

For a human to make it so far, especially while being from a Summoning World, it was more than a little impressive.

As impressed as Phyrex was, though, he wanted to see his head on a platter even more.

Everyone else had taken the City Stele route, and he had as well. But when he saw Sylas' na appear on the leaderboard, and he realized that his enemy was trapped in a world right alongside him, Phyrex seed to have forgotten about everything else.

All he wanted to do was kill that man.

If Sylas had just killed Aurion, he was more than likely in a tundra region. Aurion would have never built his city anywhere else. In that case, he knew exactly where to go.

Lightning sparked in Phyrex's eyes.

He wasn't beneath Aurion in Silver Genes because of inferiority. He was below him only because he had changed his tactics the mont he saw Sylas' na.

In terms of raw talent… there was no comparison between the two.

And now, he was ready.

Phyrex vanished into a stream of lightning.
