Huo Jincheng hoped that one day, Lu Xingzhi could say things like that too.
"Lie down and lean on ." Huo Jincheng directly laid Lu Xingzhi down, letting her lean in his arms, and continued to massage her stomach.
Lu Xingzhi was too lazy to move, so she comfortably leaned against Huo Jincheng’s chest.
"With National Day coming up, do you have anywhere you want to go?" Huo Jincheng asked.
"No, I want to stay ho. Just lying in bed and sleeping every day feels really comfortable," Lu Xingzhi said lazily.
"You want to lie in bed every day? Are you sure?" Huo Jincheng’s words hinted at a lot more, but unfortunately, he was dealing with the oblivious Lu Xingzhi.
"I’m sure."
"Okay, as long as you’re sure." The depth in Huo Jincheng’s eyes and his aningful smile said it all.
"Uncle, why do I feel like what you’re saying sounds strange?" Lu Xingzhi suddenly caught on.
"Nothing." Even if there is, it’s not of much use to tell you now.
"Oh!" Lu Xingzhi didn’t think much of it anyway, as she felt assured that Huo Jincheng wouldn’t harm her.
She didn’t have anything worth being deceived over either.
The two of them chatted casually, but in just a few minutes, Lu Xingzhi fell asleep.
Huo Jincheng felt a bit helpless, gently touched her cheek, and couldn’t resist his inner urge, leaning down to kiss her lips.
He felt like a villain, sowhat cunning too.
Thinking there was sothing on her lips, Lu Xingzhi unconsciously licked them.
Huo Jincheng’s Adam’s apple bobbed, and he took a deep breath.
Only then did he cradle Lu Xingzhi and carry her to the room, finally placing her on the bed.
He didn’t leave right away, but sat on the bed edge, quietly watching her, and after a while, he walked out of her room.

Lu Xingzhi woke up at eleven thirty at night, a bit groggy after sleeping for a few hours.

She had just reached the staircase when, coincidentally, Huo Jincheng ca out of the study.
"Uncle, why aren’t you asleep yet?" She was a bit startled when the study door opened.
"I was dealing with so office work." Huo Jincheng looked at her, "Where are you off to?"
"I’m hungry, I want to find sothing to eat," Lu Xingzhi said bashfully.
Thinking about how he ntioned dealing with office work, she asked, "Is it because picking up delayed your work?"
"It has nothing to do with you. It was sothing sudden from abroad." Huo Jincheng walked over to her and took her hand, "Let’s go!"
Lu Xingzhi hadn’t reacted yet, "Hmm? Go where?"
"Aren’t you hungry? Let’s go to the kitchen."
