"It’s just soone unimportant, not worth my attention." Lu Xingzhi wouldn’t spare her heart for such people.
She really thought they weren’t worth getting angry over.
"Hey, are you serious?" Helian Yi stared at her. Can soone really be like this?
Even soone as old as he is finds it impossible.
"What else?" Lu Xingzhi glanced at him. "A person’s heart is only so big; why fill it with so much when it’s so heavy."
"That seems to make so sense."
Not until they reached the gymnasium did they get out of the car.
The stage had already been set up by this ti, and every day soone checked the equipnt just to ensure nothing went wrong the day of the concert.
Knowing they were coming, a white piano was already placed in the center of the stage ahead of ti.
"By then, should I play the piano throughout or just for a section?" Lu Xingzhi asked.
"Throughout, and there’s also a solo part for you." Helian Yi explained his design to her, "This song only uses piano accompanint throughout. So, I’ll need you to keep playing."
"Sure. But do I need to be at the center of the stage?"
Helian Yi nodded, "Of course, there’s a part where I need to lean on the piano to sing."
"Alright then!" Lu Xingzhi frowned; she wasn’t keen on appearing on cara, but since she had agreed to Helian Yi, she would fully cooperate.
"If you’re good with it, shall we try it once?" Helian Yi was quite pleased with how professional, serious, and responsible Lu Xingzhi was.
"Okay."
"From the start until here, there’s an introductory lody. This is your part. Then, when you reach this point in your playing, I’ll co out from the back and start singing. When it reaches the climax, there’s another solo for you."
After Helian Yi clearly explained once again, the two of them started their first rehearsal.
Helian Yi went to the back according to the setup, of course, he stayed on stage and didn’t go all the way backstage.
When Lu Xingzhi’s piano sounded, concluding the main lody, Helian Yi’s voice rose, and slowly he ca out from the back.
He stopped only when he reached the center of the stage.
Then, after another solo from Lu Xingzhi, both of them played together.
The coordination was quite good, just not yet fluid.
"Little Zhi Liao, your piano is perfect, but during your solo, you can look towards Ah Yi here and smile at him." The music director, Zhou Tangshu, said.
"Exactly, Ah Yi as well. You two need a bit more interaction." The concert’s director Wang Fei also added.
"Please don’t. Don’t aim for too intimate interaction; she’s my third sister-in-law. I don’t want to be obliterated by my third brother." Helian Yi’s survival instinct was pretty strong.
"Alright then! Just a slight smile here shall do!" Wang Fei was a little disappointed; if there was more interaction, it would be better.
Tang Shicheng understood this best. If she wasn’t the fiancée of that person, after the concert, ntioning the topic a bit would definitely have yielded twice the result with half the effort.
The two rehearsed a few more tis together and beca very coordinated.
Lu Xingzhi then said, "I can play this part a few more tis; you don’t need to keep singing, just drink more warm water and save your voice for tomorrow!"
Helian Yi looked at her, his enchanting eyes a bit complex.
