"It really was from you; I thought it was from soone else!" Lu Xingzhi felt reassured, "I’m coming back tomorrow. You didn’t have to send it today."
"Would you like to give it to you again when you return?" Huo Jincheng walked to the window with the phone, "I miss you."
"I only just got here yesterday, it’s only been a day. How could you miss ?" Lu Xingzhi crouched down and pointed at the Crystal Deer with a finger; it was quite cute.
"I miss you with all my heart. Let see you." Huo Jincheng hung up the call and sent a video ssage to Lu Xingzhi.
"Do I look good?" was the first thing Lu Xingzhi asked when she connected the video call.
"You look beautiful."
"Now that you’ve seen enough?"
"Why?"
"Now that you’ve seen, I’m going to hang up the video. I’m about to head back to the hotel," Lu Xingzhi ntioned, noticing the driver was still waiting for her.
"Okay. Let’s talk when you get back to the hotel."
After ending the call, Lu Xingzhi picked up the Crystal Deer and got into the car.
When she arrived at the hotel lobby, as she got out of the car, another car also stopped. The driver respectfully opened the car door while another person placed a wheelchair at the back door.
Then she saw a man in a dark green coat, helped by the driver, sitting in the wheelchair.
Lu Xingzhi took a sharp breath.
It wasn’t because the man was in a wheelchair.
It was his striking appearance.
His face was like white jade, with peach blossom eyes, a high nose bridge, and rosy thin lips.
His striking allure seed to ooze from his very bones.
"Strikingly dazzling" was the perfect phrase to describe this man.
What a pity...
She paused briefly before entering the hotel, but the man in the wheelchair suddenly spoke up.
"Miss Lu."
Lu Xingzhi stopped in her tracks, looked at him, "Do you know ?"
The man’s rosy thin lips curled slightly, "I happened to attend both of Bertrand’s piano performances, and Miss Lu’s playing was excellent. Especially today’s piece."
"Thank you!" Lu Xingzhi nodded slightly and walked into the hotel.
Fu Yanzhi watched her go inside, then had his assistant push him in as well.
