Edmond continued, "Lu Lu, can I invite you to my house tomorrow? My grandmother is from Hua Country, and she also wants to et you."
"Sure!" This wasn’t the first ti Edmond had invited her, so Lu Xingzhi couldn’t refuse again.

Lu Xingzhi roughly understood. If Edmond’s family valued family background so much, then Luo Wanxu really wasn’t suitable for Edmond.
After all, a marriage without parental blessing, even one t with dislike, would not be happy.
