"U...Uncle..."
"Hmm?"
"Don’t get so close to ." Lu Xingzhi pushed him again, but couldn’t move him.
"Too close? I think we could get a bit closer." Huo Jincheng moved a few centiters closer, almost cheek to cheek with Lu Xingzhi.
"Otherwise, how about I play a song for you?" Lu Xingzhi spoke cautiously, afraid of brushing against Huo Jincheng’s lips.
"Okay!" Huo Jincheng’s gaze rested on her soft lips, his eyes intense, he smiled lightly but still let her go.
There’s always ti.
Lu Xingzhi sat back at the piano and looked at Huo Jincheng, "Uncle, what do you want to hear?"
"Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." Huo Jincheng leaned against the piano, speaking with a hint of deeper aning.
"Huh? You want to hear that?"
"That’s right."
"Alright."
Lu Xingzhi placed her hands on the keys, beaming at Huo Jincheng, then her fingers started to move slowly like dancing elves performing a romantic waltz.
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are, up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky." Lu Xingzhi played and sang; it was the first piece she learned on the piano.
Her dad taught her to play it.
Huo Jincheng ca over and sat next to her.
Then suddenly placed his fingers on the piano, "Dream Wedding."
Lu Xingzhi didn’t understand Huo Jincheng’s intention at first, but as he started playing, she realized he wanted her to play along with him.
"I’ve never tried a duet."
"Then give it a try."
Lu Xingzhi bit her lip, looked at Huo Jincheng, and slowly placed her hands on the keys.
At first, she wasn’t very smooth, made a few mistakes, but gradually they beca more in sync, playing with great co-operation.
Then, they played it again.
Lu Xingzhi looked at Huo Jincheng, who happened to look back at her, his lips curled gently, eyes full of tender affection.
Lu Xingzhi also smiled, her smile shy and bashful, her face slightly flushed.
The shy glance she cast down made Huo Jincheng’s throat tighten slightly, he reached out to touch her head, his fingers running through her hair, even the gaps between his fingers were filled with intimacy.
His voice hoarse and compelling, "Do you like it?"
"Hmm. It’s just too expensive." Lu Xingzhi touched the piano lid and looked at the diamonds on the top, "Moreover, it’s too extravagant. Such a big diamond would be better as a ring!"
If the maid hadn’t said it was a real diamond, Lu Xingzhi would have thought it was fake. Knowing it was real, she couldn’t stay calm.
Huo Jincheng’s eyes glead with amusent, "Heart aching? When we get married, I’ll buy you an even bigger one."
Lu Xingzhi indeed had a swan neck and particularly beautiful hands; he had always thought things would look especially fitting on her neck and hands.
"I’m not saying I want to marry you, I didn’t an that." Lu Xingzhi explained, she wasn’t asking him to buy her a diamond ring.
"Don’t want to marry ?" Huo Jincheng’s voice held a bit of displeasure and threat, "Then who do you want to marry?"
"No, that’s not what I ant. I ant, I didn’t want you to buy a diamond ring." The more she explained, the less clear it beca.
"So, you do want to marry ." Huo Jincheng felt quite a bit better now.
"Don’t we have an engagent? Unless you break it first, otherwise..."
Huo Jincheng didn’t let her continue, he said seriously, "I won’t break it. Didn’t I say? We’ll spend our life together."
