The atmosphere inside the residents’ council office changed the mont the Federation of Urban Poor Residents arrived.
“So you’re the one? The guy pushing ahead with negotiations with the residents’ council while ignoring us?”
Manager Ma turned his head toward the voice.
The man who had spoken flinched at the emotionless gaze in Manager Ma’s eyes.

“Who are you?”
Even his voice carried no rise or fall whatsoever.
Faced with a man who looked like you could stab him with a knife and not draw a single drop of blood, no one dared to speak carelessly.
At that mont, Jeon Jihoon, who had been standing behind the man who spoke first, suddenly shouted furiously.
“What do you an, who?! Who the hell gave you permission to negotiate without us?!”
He even pointed a finger at Manager Ma as he spoke.
As though trying to erase any suspicion, Jeon Jihoon deliberately acted even angrier.
“You should’ve negotiated with us first! That’s the proper order, isn’t it?! And what about the rest of you people? Isn’t this ssed up? We stepped up for your sake, and this is how you stab us in the back?!”
As Jeon Jihoon raged and stomped around, the mbers of the residents’ council lowered their heads.
“It doesn’t seem like there’s any point continuing this conversation.”
Manager Ma rose from his seat without the slightest hesitation.
Watching him, Choi Gyeongu spoke.
“You’re just going to leave like that?”
“There’s no reason to continue speaking with people who clearly have no intention of negotiating further.”
At Manager Ma’s words, Choi Gyeongu nodded.
“That’s true enough.”
“What the hell?! Who said you could leave?!”
Jeon Jihoon shouted and stepped forward, grabbing Manager Ma by the shoulder.
At the sa ti, Hong Jinpyo’s eyes trembled violently.
“Secretary General, what are you doing right now—”
Before Hong Jinpyo could even finish speaking, Manager Ma moved first.

Manager Ma looked down at the kneeling Jeon Jihoon and spoke indifferently.

Manager Ma silently stared at the screaming Jeon Jihoon for a mont before releasing his hand without another word.
“Y-you bastard!”
Jeon Jihoon clutched his arm and tried to spit out a curse, but the mont he t Manager Ma’s eyes, his mouth snapped shut.
Turning around, Manager Ma looked at Hong Jinpyo.
“Let’s go back now.”
“Y-yes. Let’s do that. This isn’t an atmosphere where any more discussion can happen.”
Manager Ma walked out first, with Hong Jinpyo following behind him.
The surroundings fell silent. Only Jeon Jihoon’s groans and the tapping sound of Hong Jinpyo’s cane echoed through the office.
When Manager Ma reached the door, he quietly looked over the mbers of the Federation of Urban Poor Residents.
The startled n stepped aside and opened a path.
Just before stepping outside, an old man’s voice called out from behind them.
“Make sure you pass on my words. Tell him I’d like to et him.”
Manager Ma gave no reply and ignored Choi Gyeongu completely.
The mont they stepped outside, Hong Jinpyo bowed his head.
“I’m sorry, Manager.”
“That man who stepped forward earlier was soone you recruited, wasn’t he?”
“Yes, that’s right.”
“That’s probably why he acted so aggressively. Which is why I responded even more forcefully. If he starts barking because of this later, increase his compensation a little. The Boss will allow at least that much.”
Before Hong Jinpyo could answer, Manager Ma continued first.

Soon the door opened, and Ha Eunbin stepped inside.

Even knowing that, he had willingly accepted her.

Ha Eunbin’s gaze slowly dropped toward the photographs. She picked one up from the floor.
The mont she saw it, she bit her lip tightly. The hand holding the photo trembled violently.
“Now do you understand why I’m throwing you away?”
Oh Changhoon asked, but Ha Eunbin couldn’t say a word from the shock.
Whenever she t her lover, she had always carefully checked her surroundings in case she was being followed.

Grinding his teeth, Oh Changhoon opened the laptop sitting on the table and inserted the USB he had brought.
Then he played a video and turned the laptop toward her.
The explicit footage playing on the screen made Ha Eunbin’s entire body tremble uncontrollably.
“Now let’s hear what kind of bullshit you’ll spew this ti. If you can still convince after seeing this, I’ll forgive you.”
Unable to answer, Ha Eunbin stared blankly at the video playing on the monitor.
No matter how she looked at it, it was undeniably her.

He stared at Ha Eunbin with eyes colder than ice.
