She couldn’t believe what she was seeing was true. But unlike most, she wasn’t an ordinary person and was a mber of Sky Tower, so she quickly noticed that it was the power of rule, as she had already understood a hint of it, which made her surpass most true gods.
But what Apollo understood was the rule of space, and he seed to understand it more deeply than just a hint of it.
She had always known Lord Apollo was extraordinary, but this?
Understanding a hint of a rule was already an achievent that placed her above most True Gods. Yet, Apollo—who was still a half-god.
Her silver eyes flickered.
"... Lord, you used the Rule of Space." She finally spoke, her voice unusually serious.
Apollo tilted his head, amusent flickering in his golden eyes. "You noticed?"
Noticed?
Selena almost scoffed.
How could she not?
She looked at the restrained monster; even if she tried her best, it wouldn’t be that easy for her to defeat it, not to ntion restraining such a monster. It would take ti, effort, and continuous power. But Apollo—he did it effortlessly.
The monster’s form trembled violently, its abyssal energy unravelling, as if it couldn’t even comprehend what was happening to it.
Apollo tilted his head slightly as if inspecting an insect beneath his foot.
Then, with a flick of his fingers—
BOOM.
The space above shattered, and a devouring black hole, filled with pure destruction, erged. In an instant, it swallowed the monster whole. Within seconds, it ceased to exist.
No corpse. No remnants.
Only empty space, still crackling with the lingering power of destruction—an unstoppable force that seed to hunger for the very world where it once stood.
"This..." Serena didn’t know what she saw or how to describe the feeling she felt. The transformation in Apollo was too fast.
"Lord, welco back." She ca to her senses after the shock and quickly greeted him.
But she knew that from now on Apollo had truly reached the stage where he could be called the master of the Lunar Star.
His gaze remained calm as he looked at Selena. He can clearly feel the change in her way of treating her. Before she respected him due to the command she received and so for his talent, but now she has fully accepted him as the lord due to his strength.
He also carefully looked at her strength, as now he could gauge her strength, which was surprisingly quite strong, as she was not only at the peak of the true god, but she also seed to have understood Lunar rule.
She just barely understood, like, just breaking through and can be said to have just reached the early stage of the first layer of the moonlight rule. But his space rule has reached the middle stage of the first layer as he trained for a few days within the Infinite Void world.
Not to ntion his rule of destruction, which has now reached the peak of the first layer and can break through the second layer anyti.
From her strength, he could guess the guardian’s strength and the strongest guardian should have reached the Eternal God realm, which wasn’t bad at all. He just, as a half-god, was able to command such powerful warriors, which showed his status.
His expression remained unreadable, but inwardly, he found it amusing. Even among the heavens, strength dictated everything. Status, respect, and even destiny itself.
"Hmm, I am going to leave, so are you going to follow or remain here and try to find treasures or anything else?" He asked, as now he didn’t need her protection, so it didn’t matter if she wanted to find sothing good here.
But Serena quickly replied without hesitation as she ca here following him and didn’t care about the opportunity here. Not to ntion, seeing his talent, she believed following him might be a better chance for her.
Apollo nodded calmly as if her decision was only natural.
"Then let’s go," he said, turning away without further words.
Selena followed closely, her silver aura restrained as she adjusted her pace to match his. Despite her power as a peak True God, she instinctively treated Apollo with the sa respect she would give an Eternal God.
With a flick of his fingers, space bent around them.
In the next mont, they vanished—travelling through the layers of space until, at last, they arrived before an ancient, gate-like structure, its surface worn and crumbling with age.
This was the exit portal. It could only be activated with the key. Otherwise, they would have to wait until the realm closed on its own. But he couldn’t afford to wait that long—so they had co here without delay.
Apollo reached into his robes and retrieved the key, a horn fragnt of crystallised energy pulsing with an eerie glow. The mont it appeared, the ancient gate trembled, reacting to its presence.
Selena watched silently; her silver eyes looked at this calmly.
Without hesitation, Apollo pressed the key against the gate.
Buzz!
A deep hum resonated through the air as golden patterns lit up along the gate’s surface. The decayed structure, which had seed fragile and on the verge of collapse, now pulsed with renewed life.
A vertical tear in space appeared at the portal’s centre. It wasn’t large, but it was infinitely deep, a tunnel between this realm and the outside world.
Apollo stepped forward.
"Let’s go."
Without hesitation, he vanished into the portal.
Selena took one last glance at the shattered world behind her before following.
The mont they entered—
Boom!
The gate behind them crumbled into dust, sealing the realm once more.
Outside the Astral Void station, the space portal, where many people gathered and were guarded by the people from Sky Tower, felt a fluctuation in the portal.
They all quickly focused on the portal, wondering what happened, as it was just a few days that the realm was open; it could not be closed this quickly.
Buzz!
The portal’s energy surged chaotically, sending ripples through the surrounding space.
The gathered warriors—void travellers, sect envoys, and Sky Tower guards—turned their attention towards the disturbance.
"This... The portal is collapsing?" soone muttered in disbelief.
"Impossible! The Forbidden Realm should remain open for at least a few years!" Another voice rang out, belonging to an elder of a mid-tier sect. His expression darkened.
The Sky Tower mbers reacted quickly. Their leader, a woman with long purple hair and an authoritative gaze, stepped forward.
"Stand back," she commanded. "Sothing—"
Before she could finish her words—
Boom!
The portal suddenly stabilised for a brief mont, and from within the swirling energy, two figures erged.
Apollo.
Selena.
The mont Apollo stepped out, the surrounding space froze for an instant, as if the very fabric of reality acknowledged his presence. A strange pressure filled the air, subtle yet suffocating.
The portal behind them once again beca calm.
Many of those gathered instinctively staggered backwards. Even the Sky Tower guards who were maintaining order narrowed their eyes at him.
Selena, however, remained calm, stepping beside Apollo without hesitation.
The guards from the Sky Tower quickly reacted and greeted him as they knew Apollo was the one who posted the task and was a high-ranking mber of the Sky Tower.
The purple-haired guard leader hesitated for a mont before stepping forward and offering a respectful nod.
"Lord Apollo, welco back," she said, her tone asured yet filled with deference.
He nodded and was ready to leave, but many standing outside wanted to know what was inside the forbidden realm, as there were many who were still hesitating: should they enter the forbidden realm or not?
But most of them were afraid as they could see he wasn’t an ordinary person. Still, a young man whose aura was still in a middle state of void- god calmly stepped forward and asked.
His tone was respectful and without any anxiousness.
"Sir, can you please tell what is within the realm and what are the dangers in it?"
Apollo stopped in his tracks, his gaze shifting toward the young man who had stepped forward. His expression remained unreadable, his eyes reflecting an unfathomable depth.
He was a bit surprised as soone dared to ask. But when he looked at the young void god, he felt a bit surprised, as he felt the young man wasn’t ordinary, although he seed ordinary from the outside, but he felt a terrifying aura within him. That terrifying aura even made him feel dangerous.
However, he didn’t think much about it.
For a mont, silence stretched between them. The surrounding warriors held their breath, watching intently. This was a rare chance—to hear directly from soone who had ventured into the forbidden realm and returned.
Apollo finally spoke, his voice calm yet carrying a weight that made the air feel heavy.
"For you, there might be so chance."
After saying this, he didn’t wait for the young void god’s words and calmly left the place, followed by Serena. And quickly the crowd makes their way. Even though many powerful people appeared, they still didn’t dare to ss here.
The young Void God stood still, his gaze lingering on Apollo’s departing figure. His expression didn’t change, but a faint gleam flickered in his eyes—sothing between contemplation and resolve.
Those around him, however, were not so calm.
"What did he an?"
"For him, there might be a chance? Does that an the realm is too dangerous for the rest of us?"
"Or... does he see sothing special in that young man?"
Whispers rippled through the crowd, but no one dared to step forward again.
