Apollo gazed intently at Old Man Aragon, his eyes conveying everything.
"Alright," he said as he took out an exquisite box that appeared to isolate their senses and imprison the sword’s energy within.
"Are you ready?"
"Hmm."
As Old Man Aragon steadily opened the box, a bright blue glow erupted, accompanied by a burst of cold, chilling aura that spread from the box, freezing the entire room and covering it with a layer of ice.
Before them appeared a beautiful, icy silver sword with blue veins, its sharp, curved blade seemingly capable of cutting through anything. They could feel the unique sharpness and chill emanating from it.
The sword was neither too big nor too small; it was the perfect size for him. It showcased the ticulous craftsmanship of Old Man Aragon, who had noted every detail of Apollo before creating this flawless blade.
"Hold it, and tell how you feel."
Old Man Aragon said, looking at Apollo, who was srised after seeing the sword.
He ca to his senses and slowly approached the sword, taking it in his hand.
Szzz! Szzz!
With a single touch, he felt the chilling energy within the sword, reminiscent of a star. Suddenly, the world began to spin, and images of a frozen star flooded his mind.
Transported to an unknown universe, he witnessed countless stars, each with its unique aura. Yet, only the frozen star seed to resonate with him. Its coldness was so intense that it froze space and ti in place.
But he quickly regained his composure as so mysterious force pushed him out, the images disappeared, and he returned. Still, he was deeply shaken by what he had seen and felt.
It was unbelievable that he would have a vision just from touching the sword. This made him ponder the connection between the images he had seen and the newly crafted sword.
"It looks good, but can it do what the kid asked for?"
Master Aaron asked, observing Apollo, who seed to be lost in the beauty of the sword.
"Haha, naturally, it will be able to transform and change size as its master desires.
However, as it is a high-grade transcendent weapon, he needs to sign a pact to fully use its potential..."
But as Old Man Aragon was explaining all this, the sword in Apollo’s hand did sothing surprising.
It burst out with terrifying, chilling ice energy and changed its size, becoming three tis bigger with a massive increase in weight that made it difficult for Apollo to hold, causing the ground beneath him to shatter under its weight.
"This?"
Old Man Aragon and Master Aaron were shocked to see this unfold, as it wasn’t supposed to happen.
"Didn’t you say that he needed to form a pact with the sword to use its abilities?"
"It should be, but your apprentice doesn’t seem to follow the rules. Frankly, it’s creepy how he effortlessly destroys the norm."
Old Man Aragon quickly remarked, observing the strange phenona surrounding Apollo.
Hearing this, Master Aaron also shut his mouth, as he knew the situation better than anyone else, and looked at his apprentice while sighing.
Apollo, on the other hand, was feeling the power of the sword increase its weight significantly. He found that he could handle up to about thirty tonnes of weight with his current power.
He couldn’t imagine the state his enemies would be in after facing a thirty-ton sword swing.
But he felt the life force consumption was also substantial; it was quickly draining his reserves. Realising this, he stopped, and imdiately, the sword returned to its original size and weight.
"Yes, Mr. Aragon, were you saying sothing?"
Apollo asked as he noticed Mr. Aragon looking at him with a strange expression.
Ah, yes. How are you able to directly use the sword’s abilities?"
"Hah, it wasn’t just taking and using it. Was there so other way to use its abilities?"
Apollo replied with a nonchalant expression, questioning what was so special about utilising the sword’s abilities.
Hearing this, Old Man Aragon’s eyes twitched, and he sighed. Typically, high-grade transcendent weapons require a special pact since they possess spirits and so intelligence. However, in Apollo’s case, it seed the spirit had taken the initiative to form a pact with him.
"Ah, yeah, Mr. Aragon, you add so special material or ore to it; the cold ice energy in it is a bit different."
Apollo asked, rembering the various images he saw first when he held the sword.
"Oh! Kid, you figured it out. Indeed, I used many rare and exceptional materials in the creation of this sword. If you’re asking about its powerful and vast ice energy, it’s because I used a teorite," Old Man Aragon explained.
"A special teorite that fell from the sky, entirely different from most teorites. Instead of having the properties and energy of flas, it was cold and filled with an unbelievable chilling aura."
"I spent a lot of money to buy it, so be grateful," Old Man Aragon added bluntly.
"Hmm." Apollo nodded, his thoughts lingering on the fragnt of the teor. He had a feeling it was sothing out of the ordinary. Nevertheless, with the sword, his strength increased once more. Even in his half-demon god form, he could wield the sword instead of relying on his fists in battle.
He was looking forward to seeing what kind of devastating power this sword would unleash in his half-demon god form.
"Kid, co on, quickly give it a na."
Master Aaron urged him to give this extraordinary sword a fitting na.
Hearing this, he began to ponder what could be an appropriate na for such an extraordinary sword.
Since it used a teorite from beyond the sky and seems related to a frozen star, its na shall be ’Frost Star’.
"The sword will be called ’Frost Star’," Apollo declared with conviction.
Hearing this, Old Man Aragon and Master Aaron smiled approvingly, feeling that the na was fitting.
"’Frost Star’ is a good na. From now on, you are the master of the sword ’Frost Star.’ Take care of it," Old Man Aragon said, acknowledging Apollo as the sword’s rightful owner.
Old Man Aragon laughed with satisfaction, having finally delivered this masterpiece to Apollo.
He nodded and then left after saying his goodbyes, heading to the hunter branch in the city to join it today.
Joining the hunter guild didn’t require a complicated process or many conditions. Anyone who had opened their prana circuit and could use life force was eligible to join.
The Hunter Guild boasts the largest mbership due to its loose joining conditions, making it accessible to nearly everyone.
After settling in the city for a whole week, he finally arrived in front of the Hunter Guild branch for the first ti.
As he approached the guild, he began to see large crowds comprising different kinds of people. The place seed densely packed; not only were people coming to join, but many hunters were also seeking jobs.
In short, it was similar to the guilds in video gas, where after registering and completing the required number of tasks, you could upgrade your hunter rank.
Apollo didn’t wait anymore and went directly to the counter to register new mbers.
He was hoping to see beauty at the desk counter, as usually it is like that in gas and manga, but maybe because of bad luck, the person at the counter was a guy, and to be specific, a macho guy full of muscles.
Frankly, he found it difficult to imagine such a large and muscular guy working here. It seed challenging even for him to fit in such a tight space; it was as if he might break through the glass if he moved even a little.
"Hello, how can I help you?" The person asked in a sissy voice that caught him off guard, causing him to glance at the guy a few tis.
The person seed to notice this and asked, "Is there a problem?"
"No, no," he quickly replied, trying to dismiss any concern or misunderstanding.
"Then what do you want?" the person asked straightforwardly.
"Ah, I wanted to register as a new hunter."
Apollo quickly explained the reason he had co, montarily forgetting about the surprising voice of the person.
"Yes, then quickly fill in the details."
He quickly filled out the details requested, providing minor information such as his na, sex, speciality, and any unique abilities he possessed.
After a few monts, the macho guy handed him his new Hunter ID card, displaying his basic information. It was simple, without much detail to ntion.
At the corner of his Hunter ID was a single star, symbolizing his rank.
The hunters in the Hunter Guild are divided into ranks according to the number of stars.
Single-star mbers are the most nurous and considered the weakest, as they are newly joined and are classified as one-star hunters.
Two-star hunters represent an elite group within the guild. They are the main force actively taking on various jobs worldwide. Many of them have surpassed their limits and beco limit-breakers.
