MasterDissection (3)

At Lee Gyeongbok's declaration of the start, geno quickly delivered his comntary.

"Ah, yes! Purple's lee prowess! Will we see another unimaginable display of physical skills today?!"

Lee Gyeongbok stood at the marked starting point inside the sparring arena.

At that mont, fifteen dummies materialized. They imdiately rushed toward Lee Gyeongbok.

'As expected.'

Lee Gyeongbok reacted just as swiftly.

"Ah! Purple is smiling right now! Absolutely brimming with confidence!"

Geno began loudly narrating the broadcast. But to Lee Gyeongbok, that voice sounded as though it were fading away, like an echo receding into the distance.

That void left by fading sensations was filled by other noises.

The clacking of the dummies' joints, the dirt scattering with a paf as his feet pressed into the ground, even the sound of weapons slicing through the air toward him.

His vision was limited straight ahead, but for him, there were no blind spots.

'As long as I'm not surrounded, I can do it.'

No matter how many dummies there were, there was a limit to the directions they could attack from. Dodging the sword slashing at him from the front, Lee Gyeongbok looked for a weak point.

"He's found the weak point right away! Is it possible he can actually see that tiny spot!?"

His sharply honed sixth sense had already mapped out the locations of every weak point in his mind.

His fist struck the area beneath the dummy's shoulder precisely. With a dull thud and a "puk" sound, the dummy dissolved into particles and vanished.

"One hit! Just one blow! An attack so sharp it gives you goosebumps!"

― Ah lol is this even possible?

― Their very existence is busted lmao

― The one favored by the gods...

― What do you an? Purple is the god lol

― The difference is just too huge, man lol

― But divinely it's all good^^

No matter what reactions people had, Lee Gyeongbok was absorbed in his own world.

He dodged the incoming flurry of attacks and punched.

"Wow...! That's footwork—boxing footwork! He's even weaving and parrying, the jab and hook, even body blows! Purple, have you boxed before?!"

Geno's question, as he observed Lee Gyeongbok, filled the chat window with question marks.

― Um;; shouldn't you know that lol

― For real, didn't you do your research!?

― President Ji, is this how you're gonna do it!?

― Info) Godple used to play sports in school.

― Ah lol so that was boxing all along

― No wonder his movent is on another level.

― Then picking the gauntlet makes sense lol

anwhile, the dummies steadily decreased. Despite their nurical superiority, Lee Gyeongbok gave them no chance to surround him.

As their numbers dwindled, the remaining dummies began disappearing even faster.

"Phew."

After dispatching even the last dummy, Lee Gyeongbok let out a brief breath.

"Cle—cleared! He's done it! And at an incredible speed, too!"

At Geno's words, viewer reactions intensified.

― Purplelelujah! Purplelelujah! Purplelelujah!

― Where the hell did you co from! Where the hell did you co from!

― Purple is god! I am invincible! Purple is god! I am invincible!

― Ah lol, why even use weapons?

― Weapon (Purple)

― Maybe it's not that Purple is great—maybe we're just trash?

― Physicaldor! Physicaldor! Physicaldor!

Lee Gyeongbok simply smiled at the chat window's reactions and walked back to Geno.

"The dummies' movents were pretty good."

"Haha, right? The motion capture for those is from real master weapon experts. I paid a lot for that, you know? It's a corporate-level thing."

― No fun cut!

― Hyung? Nobody asked or cares!

― Already bragging again?

― Lat-ta-ratta aratta

― Spare us your investor humblebrag!

― Evaluating master moves as 'pretty good' though?

― Ah lol, with god's eyes, of course they're okay.

Geno fell silent to the viewers' joking responses, quickly changing the subject.

"Right, you've done the test magnificently—honestly, with my limited vocabulary, there's no way to describe how perfect that was. I can't help but ask: do you have any tips you could share?"

"Tips?"

Lee Gyeongbok glanced aside.

"Yes. Even sothing very simple is fine."

"Hm... Just watch and hit, and watch and dodge. That's it."

He simply echoed Geno's words.

Unable to explain his sixth sense, he had to keep it simple.

― Ah lol, so true

― For real lol, I hadn't realized that

― This is why geniuses are just...

― Please stop... If I get suffocated by this smugness, we'll all die!

― Teacher! I've got an acute case of smug overdose!

"Alright, everyone. Don't forget Purple is the MasterDissection. For real masters, this is all elentary. Sotis I can only explain things that way too."

Geno's words shifted the chat window's atmosphere.

― Lol, sneaking himself into the credit

― Can't give you respect for 'vibecal' skills

― Hyung? Even if you stand next to a god, you don't beco a god!

― Lunch break! Lunch break! Lunch break!

― If you say that next to Purple, it just makes you look worse

"Hey, guys, wouldn't it be okay to give a bit of credit? Are we really that close?"

Feigning annoyance, geno raised his voice. Lee Gyeongbok nodded as he watched him.

'So this is how he deflects heat from the guest.'

Most of it was playful, but so might genuinely think he was being condescending. If that happened, geno would step in to minimize controversy.

Lee Gyeongbok quietly took note of Geno's broadcast thods.

"I realized back since the Yami days—you're insanely skilled. I an, there's no sha in losing to you five-to-one! But Purple's abilities don't end there! Next: his marksmanship, proven at Bark! Let's head over right now!"

Geno took the opportunity to lighten the mood and continued the broadcast. The two soon relocated to the shooting range.

"Alright, most of you should be familiar with this shooting range. That's because it's modeled after Gunner Ground's training facilities. Purple, you know it too, right?"

"Ah, I haven't tried Gunner Ground yet."

His reply turned the chat window into a sea of question marks.

― Whoa?

― Is that for real?

― He's a strear but never played Gunner?

― Ah lol, no wonder newbie Purples don't know anything

― Info) Purple's only been streaming for two weeks

― Bark was literally his first ga lol

― Whoa lol, that makes him even more amazing lol

Geno's viewers gradually began learning more about Purple—and the more they learned, the more extraordinary he beca.

"Really? Gunner Ground's actually pretty fun. Let's duo it together soti!"

"Yeah, sure."

― Lol just naturally setting up the next collab

― Is my hyung strawing again!?

― Hyuuuung? Where's the tone and manner?

― Strawing world domination, huh!

As viewers reacted playfully, geno shalessly leaned in.

"Hey, don't I get to catch a carry/bus myself for once? You saw what happened in Mystic, right? Being run over by the Purple carry/bus put out for ten weeks!"

― Ah lol, pre-booking a carry/bus is legit.

― Awkward mustard haha;

― Purple in Gunner Ground? Actually aweso.

― Ah lol, just the thought is mouthwatering

― Why are you drooling, wtf lol

Lee Gyeongbok replied with a smile after glancing at the chat window.

"Gunner Ground is one of the gas I'll try soti. I'll reach out again then."

"Oh! Really?! Thank you, truly thank you...! Manager! Clip, hurry, get that clip!"

Geno's exaggerated antics filled the chat window with laughter. But that was all beside the point.

"Right, let's get back on track. Ranged attacks are simple: shoot and hit. But 'GeneCamp' makes it tougher than that, right?"

He clapped his hands again, keeping everyone focused.

"Targets will appear randomly, and so are traps you shouldn't shoot! Shoot a trap, and the test ends imdiately! The test lasts five minutes, 300 seconds! There'll be 100 targets—so one appears every three seconds."

Geno explained and displayed the records on screen.

[Highest shooting record]

[Average accuracy – 96%]

[Average dwell ti – 0.894 seconds]

"As you can see, the records asure accuracy and average target dwell ti! Taking down all 100 targets in ti is a given! Amazingly, the top record belongs to the strear 'Geno'! Not to brag, but I've got so physical skills myself."

― Lol, identity finally revealed!

― Here cos the bragging again lol

― Please stop with the self third-person narration!

― Brazen as ever lol

― The king of 'vibecal' and now 'facecal' pride!

― Lol, 'facecal' is nuts

Geno didn't falter at the viewer reactions.

"Right, there aren't any special settings. Just choose your weapon and start!"

"What did you use, geno?"

The chat window buzzed at Lee Gyeongbok's question.

― Lol

― Bold, picking the sa weapon!

― Purple confidence ON!

― Ready to beat him under identical conditions!

― As they say, a craftsman never blas the tools...

― Ah lol, not even leaving room for excuses

― Can't Purple just point with his finger and hit the target?

― Purple himself is a weapon anyway, wholly possible.

― Finger gun, what is this lol

Geno wasn't fazed. This had already been decided in advance.

"Ah, he picked this handgun—the basic Glock 17. Since the goal isn't target destruction, plus with 17 rounds per magazine, you save reload ti too."

― Staying distant just in case he loses?

― Ah lol, the 'Geno' record and host Geno aren't the sa person!

― Defeat is already a foregone conclusion...

― But with Purple, I get it lol

Lee Gyeongbok picked up the pistol effortlessly. So viewers realized instantly.

― Huh? Isn't this the gun he used in Bark?

― Lol, a gun he's already used

― Ah lol, all the targets are dood.

― It's over lol

― Whoa, for real? Can't wait to see this lol

By coincidence, it was the very familiar gun model to him. Lee Gyeongbok inspected the pistol lightly and smiled.

"All right, let's begin."

"Yes! Purple already displayed god-level skill at close-range! What will he show in marksmanship? We'll see in just five minutes!"

― Lol, why bring that up here!

― Hyuuung!? Tone and manner!

― If you let us see just five minutes, will you believe!?

― We believe! We believe! We believe!

― Ahh, is it ti for John of the Wick family to step up?

With a "beep" sound, the tir started.

At the sa ti, Lee Gyeongbok's eyes darted rapidly. Without hesitation, he aid and pulled the trigger.

"Ah... this, this is...!"

Geno was so stunned he forgot his prepared script. He even began to stutter.

But no one pointed it out.

― What, what is this?

― Isn't that just spraying wildly?

― But the accuracy...?

― What is he even looking at to shoot?

Because Lee Gyeongbok never gave the system a chance to rest. It beca apparent that this resulted from the test's system itself.

"He's moving on to the next target the mont he shoots! These are random, though? It's hard to believe!"

Whenever he shot one target, another imdiately appeared. A normal person would have needed ti to find the next one.

But for Lee Gyeongbok, it was as if no such ti was needed.

That was because, with his sixth sense, he already knew where the targets would appear. The only ti he paused was to change magazines.

"Ah! Reloading now! The magazine's already empty! What on earth is this speed?! Even reloading took barely a second!"

That, too, didn't take even a full second. With skillful movent, Lee Gyeongbok swapped magazines and kept pulling the trigger.

― Ah! He missed one!

― No, that's a trap

― Wait, he can even distinguish at that speed!?

― Seriously, is he human? Not so program?

― Ah lol, actually, he's just AI!

― Was it all a RIGGED SHOW?

― Lol, honestly, that's plausible.

The counter for targets hit rose faster than the tir ticked down.

And in less than two minutes—

[Congratulation!]

[All targets have been hit.]

[Calculating result.]

The shooting test was over.

"Ah! The test is finished! The resuuuuuuult?!"

Geno drawled the words out, not even finishing half his pre-prepared lines. The numbers in the result window began spinning rapidly.

Geno snapped his fingers below the screen, and a dramatic drumroll filled the air.

The chat window overflowed with emoticons.

Everyone was hyped—except for Lee Gyeongbok, who just stood calmly.

For a reason:

'I hit them all perfectly. Maybe they should've let the targets move for a bit?'

He already anticipated the results.

[Highest shooting record]

[Average accuracy – 99.9%]

[Average dwell ti – 0.291 seconds]

The numbers stopped spinning.

A mont of utter silence followed.

Geno forgot even his role as host, staring with mouth wide open and blinking vacantly.

"... Eh?"

And that weird voice slipped out. The clip would later beco Geno's signature and a core elent for countless parodies.

― Eh...?

― Eh?

― Eh?

The chat window had much the sa reaction, but only for a second.

-99.9% at that speed? 99.9% at that speed?

― Laughable, a dwell ti under 0.3 seconds lol

― At this point, weren't the bullets flying before the targets even appeared?

― Oh, I get it! The targets were just being careful around Purple!

― The targets kept their heads down lol

― Mom! I can't beco Purple! Mom! I can't beco Purple!

― God: Yeah, even I'd find this tough.

― He did 'perfect' again, right? Did 'perfect' again, right? Did 'perfect' again, right?

Over ten thousand viewers began to go wild.

But Lee Gyeongbok just tilted his head.

'Strange. Should've been 100%.'

By his senses, every bullet passed through the dead center of the targets. Which was true.

But the 99.9% was due to the program's own limits.

"Whoa... I've got chills. You too, right? I can't even imagine Purple being the sa species as us. Are you sure we're both human?"

Geno, still shocked, spoke with a touch of showmanship but overwhelming sincerity.

The chat window filled with agreent.

"At this point, shouldn't we declare him an intangible cultural asset, a national treasure? This is insane, just insane."

"Ahaha, you're hyping up too much. It's easy if you try it yourself."

Lee Gyeongbok chuckled awkwardly. Geno stared at him with lidded eyes and asked,

"Ah, I think I get it. You just see and shoot, right?"

"Oh? You know it well."

At Lee Gyeongbok's nonchalant response, geno could only give a wry laugh. The chat window filled with laughter, too.

"So, this is how people feel when they watch ? I admit it! I was wrong! Now I finally know there's a Heaven Beyond Heaven!"

― Once again, sneaking in his own flex

― Ah lol, just stick to vibecal, hyung?

― I can only think of Purple for physical skills now!

― Physical lit!

― Ah lol, are you insane or what? lol

― Lol, please, tone and manner!

Lee Gyeongbok blinked.

Sotis, the chat window's quips were hard to parse, but it was clear enough they were complinting him.

"Right! We can't end it here! As he is, Purple's on another plane. But even true masters have their human side!"

At that, geno clapped his hands briskly. The stage changed once more.

Suddenly, walls shot up and the floor shifted to an old-fashioned marble. A soft red carpet rolled out under their feet.

At that mont, geno appeared, dressed in a tuxedo and a tall top hat like a gentleman.

― Lol, this can't be skipped.

― What's going on now?

― Casino?

― Bonus for watching the live show lol

― Even a master can't beat this!

The viewers split into two camps—those startled by the sudden change, and those excited for what was coming.

For the startled, geno quickly explained.

"Exclusive content for those loyal to the live broadcast of MasterDissection! 'Masters Are Still Human!' segnt! This part will be cut from all replays, so if you record and distribute without permission, your court fan eting's on the way!"

A content segnt Geno had devised to reward live viewers. Not on Q-tube, not in Tri replays—nowhere else.

'Leave it to Geno to co up with ways to boost live viewership.'

He'd only been told there would be a third test at the pre-show eting, not its contents. Lee Gyeongbok, surprised, ntally noted such thods existed.

"Today, this test is especially important. No matter how great your physical skills, 'luck' makes everyone equal! The final master test is 'luck'!"

He turned to Lee Gyeongbok.

"If you win or I win, the loser gifts subscriptions to viewers! Who'll win this one?!"

Even at the abrupt proposition, Lee Gyeongbok didn't flinch.

'Oh, that's why he ntioned covering costs.'

He'd already been told in the pre-show that Geno's side would cover any costs arising from the broadcast. He hadn't understood at the ti, but it all made sense now.

It was all just for show; Geno would buy the subscriptions regardless of who won.

"No matter how good you are, with luck any of us might win! Do you accept the challenge?!"

"Sounds like fun. I accept."

Lee Gyeongbok replied with a smile.

Geno matched his grin and glanced at the chat window. No doubt Purple's fans were a bit bewildered by this.

'... Huh?'

But oddly, the reaction was different.

― Lottery? Even better!

― Luck? Did he say luck?

― Clean finish to the day lol

― Maybe another legend?

― At this pace, it's a guaranteed win!

― Free subscriptions incoming lol

Purple's viewers had already experienced this once before.

Purple, he was 'perfect,' even in draws of luck.
