In Teyvat, slis were among the most common elental creatures. Seven nations, seven elents—slis existed for each of them.
Koji decided to try capturing more. If he could gather all seven, maybe one day they could fuse into sothing new.
…
"Feels like it'd be nice and cool to touch."
Normal-sized slis attacked in simple ways. Cryo Slis were ice-blue with a snowy white top, like snow dusted on their bodies.
Hydro Slis applied Hydro when colliding. Cryo Slis applied Cryo. It was like being ramd by a lump of soft ice.
In sumr, hugging a Cryo Sli would be heaven.
"Alright, Mizu, your turn."
Koji was just an ordinary human. Better to let his sli fight.
Hydro Sli: "?"
If translated, its thoughts were: You really want to fight a Cryo Sli? Are you serious?
Cryo directly countered Hydro. A clash would freeze it solid while the Cryo Sli would be fine.
Master, even if you fought yourself, it'd be better than .
"You awake, right?"
"Ahaha… sorry, forgot Cryo beats Hydro." He scratched his head and waved at the Cryo Sli.
Instead of attacking, the Cryo Sli bounced to his feet. He hesitated, then squatted and touched it.
Unlike the Hydro Sli, its texture was icy cool, like a liquid that never hardened.
They locked eyes. What a boundaryless human.
He asked if it wanted to follow. It agreed without fuss. His team grew.
His short-term goal: collect all seven elents. In Mondstadt alone, all seven sli types existed. No need to travel abroad.
…
On green grass, he noticed a plant move. Hidden Dendro Sli.
Sneaky, it burrowed and launched ambushes.
"Kaen, I choose you!"
He released his freshly caught Pyro Sli. Using Pyro or Hydro would reveal the Dendro Sli's position.
Ignited by Pyro, it burst out of the ground, burning, hopping wildly until the flas went out, leaving it charred.
"Dendro Sli. Done."
He now had four: Hydro, Cryo, Pyro, and Dendro.
Four bouncing blobs followed him. He was surely the flashiest guy in Teyvat.
The rest could wait until tomorrow.
Next day.
Under birch trees, he spotted an Anemo Sli. Its green body had tiny wings, letting it float and dash through the air.
Like a balloon. He dodged its rush and persuaded it easily.
Large slis were stronger—capable of teor-like crashes or ranged attacks. Big Cryo and Geo Slis had armored shells shielding their cores.
Near iron deposits, he found a Geo Sli. Deep brown, with rocky protrusions, even plants growing on it.
He paused. Back before Zhongli's release, mining was painful. That old man later trivialized it—his skill let you collect ore with ease.
The Geo Archon's na wasn't for nothing.
He captured the Geo Sli too. Only one left: Electro.
Electro Slis liked places rich in energy. Best to search near Electro Crystals.
At a cliff base, he found them—purple crystals taller than a man, crackling with energy.
As he neared, his skin tingled, hairs standing on end.
Pop!
An Electro Sli erged, purple with glowing antennae.
Zzz!
It ramd him, discharging electricity. His hair frizzed.
"Huh? I'm fine?"
He was surprised. Only tingling, no damage. Could his body be changing?
Breathing Teyvat's air—rich in elental energy—might be altering his physique.
Over days, he had felt himself growing stronger.
Environntal adaptation, like cultivation worlds where long exposure extended life.
"Co on, zap my shoulder. Been stiff lately."
Since it didn't hurt, he relaxed. He wasn't a total weakling anymore.
Electro Sli: Never heard this request before. But sure!
After an electric massage, he felt rejuvenated.
The Electro Sli joined his team.
"All seven. Too bad I can't summon Shenlong."
Seven colorful blobs trailed behind him. Nowhere else in Teyvat could you find that.
To normal adventurers, these posed little threat—just predictable rams. Easy to dodge.
And Vision holders were leagues stronger.
Still, with seven slis, few would dare trouble him.
But he needed a Serenitea Pot. Dragging them everywhere was too conspicuous.
