"Paimon is so tired... Paimon just want to rest," Paimon said as she entered the house, finally back in a familiar and safe environnt.
With no need to remain on high alert like they did in the wilderness, a wave of sleepiness hit her hard. She collapsed onto the soft couch, ready to doze off.
"Ugh, we've been running around all day. We're covered in dust. Take a bath before you sleep," Lumine sighed, grabbing Paimon by the back of her collar and dragging her towards the bathroom.
While the two of them were in the bath, Nolan opened his character panel and looked at the over 60,000 Adventure EXP he'd accumulated. Keeping this much in reserve felt wasteful and made him uneasy. He didn't need to save so much, so he decided to use so of it.
After thinking for a mont, he decided to level up first and then use the remainder to enhance "Lumine's Sword Intent."
Currently, this skill, when combined with the "Spirit Descent" trait from his max-level Focus Technique, could essentially be used like an external body. Nolan figured it was worth strengthening further.
With this improvent, he could send the sword intent projection into dangerous areas first to scout ahead.

Nolan glanced at his character panel, noticing that he was left with just over a thousand Adventure EXP. Wow, that went fast…
After Lumine and Paimon finished their bath, they used wind elent power to dry their hair and headed off to bed. Once they were done, it was Nolan's turn to take a bath.
After fighting those crows twice, Nolan had worked up quite a sweat, and skipping a bath would definitely feel uncomfortable.
Ti flew by, and after about ten minutes, he finished his bath and erged from the bathroom, just as Lumine, dressed in a white short-sleeved nightgown, got up from the couch and headed towards the bathroom.
It seed she had been waiting for him to finish so she could use the restroom.
"Haah~"
Not long after, Lumine stretched as she exited the bathroom. Her chest rose with the movent, and her nightgown lifted slightly, revealing a glimpse of her pale, soft stomach.
"Get so rest," Lumine said casually as she passed by Nolan, clearly drowsy and ready to head to bed.
Tomorrow's ceremony would confirm whether the Geo Archon had truly passed away, and the "the Mighty and Illuminated Adepti" would likely arrive at Liyue Harbor as well. She just hoped there wouldn't be any conflict with the Qixing.
With her adventurer's intuition, Lumine had a nagging feeling that tomorrow's ceremony wouldn't go smoothly.
Nolan's gaze lingered on Lumine's delicate figure, barely concealed under her thin nightgown, and the thought that she might not be wearing anything underneath stirred sothing deep within him, a desire that he couldn't shake off.
Lumine's affection for him had reached the maximum level by now, and he figured it was ti to take their relationship to the next level.
Thinking this, Nolan instinctively reached out and grabbed Lumine by the arm.
"Huh? What is it—mmph!"
Before Lumine could even turn to ask, her soft lips were suddenly covered by his, their bodies pressing closely together.
Her amber eyes widened in surprise, and her hands instinctively pressed against his chest, trying to push him away.
But then she quickly realized—he must be using that strange ability of his again, transferring energy to her to strengthen her powers. It had beco a frequent thing, especially over the past few nights, where he often used this excuse to kiss her.
Lumine was used to it by now and let him continue.
Sure enough, monts later, she felt that familiar surge of energy flowing into her, revitalizing every cell in her body. She could sense herself getting stronger, even more than before.
Has he gotten stronger again? she wondered, a little envious. We're both travelers from another world, so why does he improve so much faster? It's so unfair...
Lumine's thoughts were tinged with frustration, but she quickly beca imrsed in the visible sensation of growing stronger.
Standing like this was starting to get tiring.
Nolan gently guided Lumine to the couch, where she knelt with her legs apart, straddling his lap. Her soft white slippers slipped off her feet and fell to the floor, landing on top of each other.
Lumine wrapped her arms around his neck, and as her arms lifted, the short sleeves of her nightgown revealed glimpses of her pale, smooth skin underneath.
Nolan's hands wandered to her back, caressing her through the fabric of her nightgown.
Lumine, absorbed in the feeling of getting stronger, didn't seem to notice his wandering hands, or perhaps she just didn't care. Either way, she gave him an unspoken invitation to push further.
Nolan's left hand moved down to stroke Lumine's soft right thigh, which peeked out from under her white lantern shorts, while his right hand traced the gentle curves of her back and hips before resting on her delicate foot, giving it a gentle squeeze.
Feeling a bit ticklish, Lumine flinched and shot him an annoyed glance, her eyes saying, "Stop moving around and keep it appropriate!"
Nolan, sensing her body growing warr and slightly limp from their contact, decided it was ti.
He lifted Lumine into his arms and carried her upstairs to his bedroom.

The morning sun rose promptly, as always.
After finishing the breakfast her mother prepared, Fischl set out for the day. Before starting her tasks, she decided to stop by Nolan's house.
Her parents had returned from their adventure the day before, so naturally, she had to spend the night at ho. After all, just because she had a boyfriend didn't an she should neglect her family.
But with that, Nolan probably hadn't seen her last night, and he might be a bit worried. It would be better to stop by and let him know.
Not that this Princess wanted to see him or anything!
Fischl quickly dismissed that sudden thought, her prideful nature flaring up.
