Considering the number of ships traveling these waters, if a creature of this magnitude had been sighted, rumors would have surely spread by now. Was there sothing on the Alcor that attracted it?
Or maybe this was just an unusual coincidence.
Perhaps the sea beast had ventured out to hunt and, sensing Beidou's powerful aura, instinctively perceived it as a challenge, prompting it to lash out at the Alcor.
Only to have one of its limbs severed and be forced into a panicked retreat.
Besides the level, Nolan noted that the sea beast resembled a giant octopus. After noticing the Lumine's Sword God, it suddenly increased its pace by flexing several tentacles.

Although the Lumine's Sword God was immune to physical collisions, its flight speed wasn't fast enough to pursue the fleeing sea beast.
"Haha, what's wrong? Having trouble?"
From the ship's bow, Beidou noticed Nolan's sudden pause and imdiately understood. As captain, she knew the behavior of sea monsters better than anyone else.
"There was a minor hiccup. That creature was surprisingly fast—it disappeared in the blink of an eye," Nolan admitted with a sigh, realizing he had underestimated it.
"Aw, that's a sha. I thought you could take it down," Paimon said, spreading her hands in disappointnt as she hovered in mid-air.
"It's not that simple. The ocean is these creatures' domain. Unless it surfaces on its own, even I wouldn't provoke these massive sea monsters without reason," Beidou explained.
Though she personally feared no sea monster, she had a ship and a crew to consider.
Encounters with such creatures usually ended with efforts to drive them away, as an all-out battle risked damaging the ship, which would only spell more trouble.
"Speaking of which, these massive sea monsters are undisputed rulers of their territories. After suffering a loss at our hands, it likely won't let this slide so easily."
Beidou turned her gaze to the sea ahead, a look of resigned caution on her face.
"So, it might attack us again?" Lumine crossed one arm over her midsection, causing her white dress to slightly lift around her rounded chest. With her other hand, she thoughtfully touched her chin.
"Wow, holding a grudge like that!" Paimon said anxiously.
"Haha, don't worry. As long as we're here, there's no danger. If it dares show up, we'll just cut off a few more tentacles for food," Beidou laughed, taking a swig from her flask.
The rulers of the sea weren't just these large sea monsters—Beidou herself was an unrivaled ocean queen.
"By the way, you seem quite strong. Want to test yourself against ?" Beidou set down her flask, wiping a bit of spilled liquor from her lips before eyeing Nolan with a sharp gaze.
"Oh? How would Captain Beidou like to test our strength?" Nolan raised an eyebrow, surprised by the challenge.
"We can't use weapons on the ship, so let's arm wrestle. Whoever loses takes the night watch shift," Beidou said, crossing her arms confidently.
"An invitation from the formidable Captain Beidou is one I can't refuse," Nolan responded with equal confidence. When it ca to strength, he feared no one—his upgrades enhanced him in all aspects.
Don't be fooled by his level of only 84—his strength could easily rival that of soone at level 90.
"Great! You're straightforward!" Beidou laughed heartily, then turned to a burly man on the deck. "Sea Drake, bring over a barrel of wine. I'm going to arm wrestle with him!"

Perhaps impressed by Nolan's straightforwardness, Beidou felt a slight fondness for him.
"Understood, boss!"
The muscular sailor nad Sea Drake quickly went to the storage and brought out a full barrel of wine. If the boss was going to arm wrestle soone, an empty barrel simply wouldn't do—it might shatter with the slightest force.
Of course, even a full barrel might not hold up, but at least it wouldn't wobble.
Word spread that Captain Beidou was about to arm wrestle soone, and the crew mbers with free ti gathered on the deck, eager to witness this rare event.
After all, very few had ever arm-wrestled with the captain.
Even the strongest-looking sailor aboard, Sea Drake, couldn't move a single finger of the captain's using all his strength as if straining on the toilet.

"You just got here, so let introduce you to everyone on board," Beidou said, taking the opportunity as the crew gathered around the barrel.

Nolan's pupils remained golden, with the Eye of Judgent still active, allowing him to gauge the crew's strength.
"The one who just brought the barrel is Sea Drake, one of our most experienced sailors," Beidou said, nodding at the burly man standing by the starboard side.

Not bad, especially for soone without a Vision; it ant he must possess considerable combat skills. Nolan followed Beidou's gaze, nodded, and greeted, "Hello."
Sea Drake laughed heartily and returned the greeting, "Hello!"
Beidou then proceeded to introduce more crew mbers.
There was Su Ling, the blacksmith; Huixing, the navigator; and Furong, another sailor. Their levels were generally around 20, which was sowhat lower than Sea Drake's.
But the most surprising figure was the young samurai from Inazuma stationed on the lookout.
Nolan recognized him, as this youth had appeared in the ga's storyline.
And there was even that iconic mont when he parried the strike of the Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun!
This young samurai was none other than Kaedehara Kazuha.
There was no denying that holding back a god's strike as a re mortal was incredibly moving, a scene that had touched Nolan deeply when he first experienced it in the ga.
Looking at him now, his strength was formidable, with a level of 77.
Once he finished arm wrestling with Beidou, Nolan planned to introduce himself to Kazuha and learn more about the situation in Inazuma. If he rembered correctly, Kazuha had fled due to the Vision Hunt Decree.
For such a skilled samurai to be forced into exile, they couldn't afford to go in blindly.
He also wanted to exchange sword techniques with Kazuha, hoping to pick up a few moves.
After all, Kazuha's swordsmanship was indeed exceptional.
