Nolan looked at the notification panel that had popped up and revealed a satisfied expression.
It was already noon. He had been cooperating with Ruan i’s research for half a day, from studying his ntal state to examining his blood and more.
Naturally, this led to her developing so good feelings toward him, along with the affection built up from spending several hours together.
So it was only natural that it reached Level 9.
Watching Ruan i intently studying a drop of his blood, Nolan thought for a mont before saying:
"My strength has improved quite a bit recently, so this probably isn’t sothing you can fully understand just by taking a quick look."
He then deliberately showed a troubled expression:
"But I also have things to take care of, so I can’t stay here watching you all the ti. Still, having your research interrupted halfway through doesn’t seem like a great experience either."
Ruan i glanced at him slightly, as if asking what he intended to do.
Through her earlier research, she had discovered that Nolan’s mind and genes were unprecedentedly powerful, even far surpassing beings like the "Emanators."
He was the closest organism to an Aeon she had ever encountered. Naturally, she didn’t want to miss this research opportunity. However, Nolan was quite cautious and insisted on personally overseeing everything before allowing her to proceed.
But there was no helping it, she could only cooperate with him.
"How about setting up a laboratory at my place? That way, I won’t need to co here specifically, and I can still observe your experints at any ti."
Nolan finally revealed his true intention.
Ruan i thought about it and felt there was no issue. She didn’t have strict requirents for high-end experintal equipnt anyway, so it didn’t really matter where she conducted her research.
So she nodded and agreed to his request.
"Good. Then, to avoid delaying your research, let’s head over and start preparing now," Nolan said with a smile.
"Mm."
Ruan i temporarily paused her research.
After she agreed, Nolan first introduced her to the Wonderland Space, then, under the pretext of making it convenient for her to enter and leave, gave her the ability of "Interstellar Travel."
Of course, the main reason was to prevent her from suspecting any ulterior motives, so he made sure she had full freedom to co and go.
Perhaps due to her relatively high affection toward him, Ruan i didn’t feel that he had any hidden agenda.
After accepting "Interstellar Travel," she followed him into the Wonderland Space and listened as he explained its various wondrous properties.
Ruan i realized she could also make use of this environnt to conduct other experints, though that would an staying here for a longer period.
She wasn’t sure whether that would disturb Nolan or the others living here. When she first t him, she had already sensed a strong presence of feminine auras around him.
Presumably, he had close relationships with them and likely lived together. To avoid causing any trouble, she decided to ask about it.
Nolan hadn’t expected that she herself would want to stay longer, and he naturally welcod it.
He had originally planned to have her stay to make it easier to continue building affection. Now, he didn’t even need to co up with an excuse. After assuring her that it wouldn’t be a problem and wouldn’t disturb anyone, he took her on a tour.
She chose a quiet room on the edge of the third floor as the location for her laboratory.
Soon, with their combined efforts, the place was arranged quite well. But as soon as it was set up, Ruan i eagerly resud her research.
She didn’t even give Nolan the chance to properly familiarize her with the place.
Now that they were in the Wonderland Space, Nolan could sense at any ti whether Ruan i was using his blood to cultivate anything, so it wasn’t appropriate for him to stay and disturb her further.
Especially after obtaining the "Singularity" specialization...
All traces Nolan had left in the past, even sothing as trivial as the flakes of dandruff he had scratched off during exams, all fell under the concept of "himself."
Unless he allowed it, Ruan i would not be able to study his blood at all.
So in reality, there was no need to worry about soone picking up his hair and using it to cultivate so absurdly overpowered clone or anything like that.
But there was no need to tell Ruan i this. Otherwise, he would lose his excuse to build up her affection.
Nolan walked out of the laboratory. As he was about to head downstairs, he saw Chiori organizing her tailoring room.
After so many days, the fashion design competition had already co to an end. As expected, Chiori, Fontaine’s most famous fashion designer, had smoothly taken first place.
After all, the fashion trends of Teyvat were led by Fontaine, and as its most renowned designer, the chances of Chiori not winning were extrely low.
Now, Chiori was not only Fontaine’s most famous designer, but also the most famous in all of Teyvat.
After finishing the competition and accepting Nolan’s invitation to stay in the Wonderland Space, she naturally needed to move her tailoring room here as well.
From now on, "Chiori’s Boutique" would be used for displaying and selling clothes, while the actual production work would be handled here.
"So, need a hand?" Nolan walked inside and asked Chiori.
With her arms crossed, Chiori glanced at him and said unhappily, "Why don’t you go help that one you were busy with earlier? I’ve already finished here, I don’t need you."
Clearly, she was dissatisfied that Nolan had helped Ruan i set up the lab but hadn’t co to help her, especially since they were both on the third floor. There was no way he hadn’t seen her.
"I just promised her first," Nolan coughed awkwardly. He stepped closer, wrapped his arms around Chiori from behind, and said with a smile:
"In that case, to make it up to you, how about I help you relieve so fatigue?"
As he spoke, one arm remained around her waist while the other began to move upward.
This imdiately drew Chiori’s displeasure. She bit her lip, turning her face slightly toward him, and said with irritation, "Let go already, I still need to finish organizing this room!"
"Oh? Didn’t you just say you were done?" Nolan asked with feigned curiosity.
At the sa ti, his hand, which had been rubbing over the smooth fabric, slipped inside her clothes, causing a deeper flush to spread across Chiori’s fair face.
"Hmph... you jerk."
Chiori turned her head away, lightly pressing her lips together as she muttered under her breath. Her hands gripped the edge of the cutting table tightly, as if enduring sothing.
"Heh."
Nolan chuckled softly, leaning close to her ear and gently taking her pale earlobe between his lips. His left hand slid downward, lifting her skirt and slipping inside, lightly caressing her thigh wrapped in stockings.
Monts later, he pressed forward against her back, making her lean slightly forward, inevitably causing her hips to lift a little.
Nolan tore a small opening in her pantyhose, then gently pressed forward against Chiori.
Chiori let out a sharp gasp, her fingers tightening even more on the edge of the cutting table. "Nolan, you’re such a damn nuisance," she hissed, though her voice wavered with a mix of annoyance and sothing else.
"Am I now?" Nolan murmured against her neck, his lips brushing over her skin as his fingers teased at the torn fabric of her pantyhose. "You don’t sound too convincing, Chiori."
"Shut up," she snapped, but her body betrayed her, a shiver running through her as his hand moved higher, tracing along her inner thigh. Her breath hitched, and she bit her lip harder to stifle any sound.
Nolan smirked, pressing himself closer, his chest firm against her back. "You’re so stubborn," he whispered, his voice low and rough. His fingers finally slipped past the last barrier, brushing against her warmth.
Chiori’s knees buckled slightly, a small whimper escaping her despite her efforts. "D-don’t think this ans anything," she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Sure, whatever you say," Nolan teased, his other hand sliding up her side, tugging at the fabric of her top. He nipped at her neck, leaving a faint mark as his fingers started to move with deliberate intent.
"Ah...damn it, Nolan!" Chiori’s voice broke, her head tilting back slightly as her grip on the table turned white-knuckled. Her body arched against him instinctively, despite her sharp tone.
"Relax, would you?" he said, his breath hot against her ear. His movents grew bolder, his hand working with a steady rhythm that made her squirm. He pressed himself harder against her, letting her feel every inch of his intent.
"You’re... insufferable," she gasped out, her words losing their edge as her hips shifted, almost matching his pace. Her cheeks were flushed a deep red now, her eyes half-lidded.
"And yet, here you are," Nolan shot back with a low chuckle, his free hand gripping her hip to steady her. He leaned down, kissing along her shoulder as he pushed her further forward over the table, the sound of fabric rustling filling the room.
Chiori let out a soft moan, quickly biting her lip to muffle it. "Just... hurry up already," she grumbled, though her voice was thick with need.
"Bossy as ever," Nolan muttered, but there was a grin in his tone. He adjusted his position, his hands firm on her as he finally gave in to what they both wanted, the tension between them snapping like a taut thread.
