Now reading: Chapter 160: Facing Raiden Ei - The True Plan of the Mischie from Genshin Impact: I Made the Entire Playerbase Cry, a Action novel by Reruo.

From the frontlines of the battlefield, Mu Yang reports: It's like a dream—even after waking up, the emotions linger.

Though this is the second ti witnessing it, experiencing it firsthand is still more thrilling than watching cutscenes.

The only downside is that everything happened too fast—no slow-motion shots, no flashbacks, no BGM to enhance the mood.

In the end, it still feels sowhat unsatisfying.

It seems perfection is always just out of reach.

anwhile, back on Earth, the livestream's popularity has exploded.

[Hahaha, so she really did walk out of Tenshukaku on her feet, only to get her head—slashed—the mont she stepped out!]

[Damn, damn, damn—"So mortals will always dare to face the lightning's glow." I'm crying QAQ]

[The mont his friend's Vision lit up, I was genuinely moved. Mihoyo, you know exactly how to hit us in the feels.]

[The BGM kicking in—absolutely legendary!]

[With all these Anemo Swirls on screen, are we sure Lumine won't get hit? ()]

[Fillet Blade—crafted in Liyue!]

[Don't underestimate our bonds, damn it!]

[Kazuha? More like Heavenly Sword Sovereign!]

Guinaifen waited until the hype died down before going wild.

Mimicking the Shogun's expression, she spoke:

"I didn't lose that strike—it was just that Tenshukaku happened to be illuminated by lightning at that mont."

[LMAO, the strear's got layers, huh? Stealing lines from Fuuto Detective now?]

[Little Gui's also a Kan Rider fan?! Double fandom hype!]

'Thank you, Daidou Kouji, for sending a paid ssage': "Eternity didn't lose—it was just that the wind happened to be blowing that day." (1000yuan)

'Thank you, Kan Rider W, for sending a paid ssage': "E-gor, you know what I'm about to say." (Dragon .jpg) (1001yuan)

[Damn, I didn't even realize until you pointed it out—Wind and Lightning teaming up against Eternity? That's literally the W movie plot!]

[Do the writers have Kan Rider fans among them?!]

The chat erupted into collective revelry...

Back in Teyvat, the battle raged on.

Gorou caught Kazuha as he was sent flying, steadied him, then drew his bow.

"Charge!"

Perhaps inspired by Kazuha's defiance, the Watatsumi soldiers' morale surged.

They actually dared to rush toward the Raiden Shogun without fear.

As the soldiers advanced, Visions—symbols of ambition—began glowing from the Statue of the Omnipresent God.

"What do we do? They're no match for the Raiden Shogun!"

Paimon, at least, was still lucid—having just witnessed the power of that blade, she couldn't possibly forget it.

Lumine didn't hesitate. Drawing her sword, she spun around and charged at the Shogun as well.

Leaping high, she brought down an elental greatsword upon the Shogun.

Yet, the Raiden Shogun offered no resistance—she simply closed her eyes.

The space around them shattered, and Lumine found herself within the Plane of Euthymia.

Mu Yang, still attached to Lumine's sword, followed her in.

If there were any achievents like "Spectator Extraordinaire" or "Frontline Correspondent," they would've unlocked right about now.

Raiden Ei, seated in ditation, opened her eyes.

"We et at last."

"Last ti was an accident, but in the end, you've still appeared before ."

Ei posed a question to Lumine:

"Is this reckless bravery of yours to protect those people... or was eting your true intention all along?"

Lumine answered, "A bit of both. At first, I just wanted to ask you so things."

"But after traveling through Inazuma, I've co to believe the Vision Hunt Decree is a mistake. The puppet Shogun has been misled by the Fatui."

Ei's expression shifted slightly.

"That's it? You seem to be underestimating . Of course I'm aware of the Vision Hunt Decree."

"You know everything happening outside?"

Saying "everything" might be an exaggeration.

But Ei knew all that pertained to "Eternity."

That was the purpose of the puppet's existence.

Mu Yang mused: Actually, I already tore a gap in your eternal storm—you just don't know it yet!

"The Vision Hunt Decree was enacted with my tacit approval," Ei continued.

"As for the Fatui's actions... they have yet to pose a threat to Eternity. Otherwise, they would have already been purged."

"Tacit approval..." Lumine's expression hardened.

"The Vision Hunt Decree has robbed your people of things that rightfully belonged to them—their ambitions, for example."

Unexpectedly, Ei countered:

"Ambitions are inherently detrintal to Eternity."

"Perhaps you haven't realized it yet, but chasing ambitions often causes people to lose even more."

"Take the confiscation of Visions itself—no one has died from losing their Vision."

"Rather, those who stubbornly cling to their ambitions are the ones who lose their lives. Isn't that so?"

Instead of refuting this point, Lumine offered an example:

"Suppose soone was willing to give their life in pursuit of martial mastery."

"But you stripped away their ambition, reducing them to a idle, good-for-nothing who wastes their days away."

"They might live comfortably, but is this kind of 'existence' what they truly wanted?"

From Yae Miko's descriptions, Lumine had pieced together a rough profile of Raiden Ei—a warrior bound by rigid principles, who once pursued martial perfection and now sought Eternity.

That's why she chose this particular analogy.

Mu Yang hadn't expected Lumine to be so articulate.

Neither had Ei.

Ei's rhetorical skills were never her strong suit.

Now, arms crossed, she found herself at a loss for words.

She could only close her eyes and mutter:

"You're looking for... a chance to shake my resolve, aren't you?"

This bought her a little ti to reorganize her thoughts.

"Traveler, you are indeed a special existence in my eyes."

"You embody endless variables—in other words, you stand the farthest from 'Eternity.'"

"Thus, I have no intention of making you understand its aning. It is enough that this body enacts the path of Eternity for this world."

Lumine wasn't entirely sure what Ei ant.

Was this a dismissal, telling her to stay out of Inazuma's affairs?

At this point, she couldn't possibly back down.

"I no longer wish to argue. I will simply... defeat you."

In the end, it all ca down to a fight.

If things could be resolved with just a few words, Miko wouldn't have needed to trade the Gnosis for Lumine's help.

This ti, Mu Yang didn't intervene.

Or rather, he had already done plenty before they arrived.

Having undergone "Anti-Raiden Shogun Training," Lumine was familiar with Ei's attack patterns, effortlessly countering every move.

This left Ei genuinely surprised.

After dozens of exchanges, their blades clashed once more.

"So, it was Miko who sent you."

With that, Ei suddenly altered her stance.

Though Lumine blocked, the force still sent her flying back.

"Miko... That's right! Before heading to the Kujou estate, she gave sothing."

Lumine pulled out a pink fox charm from her bag.

Power gathered within the charm, gradually taking the form of Yae Miko herself.

Miko had actually used the charm to enter the Plane of Euthymia!

The fox wore her usual mischievous smirk.

"Took you long enough to rember, didn't it?"
