["You crazy girl! You only dared to jump because you already knew there was an updraft here, didn't you?"]
The Raptor was frantic—he had truly been driven into a corner.
["The wind favors the courageous!" Amber replied.]
This was Amber in a nutshell: passionate, even impulsive.
Yet it was precisely this personality of hers that influenced and changed so many others.
Eula, Collei—they were among those touched and transford by Amber.
"Amber is so cool!" Collei exclaid, her voice full of admiration.
She envied both Amber's fearless nature and the fact that the Traveler got to adventure alongside her.
"Whew, you really had worried there."
Eula let out a sigh of relief.
Seeing Amber leap down like that had terrified her—thank the Archons for the updraft.
"Honestly, being so careless with your safety... How am I supposed to get my revenge if you get hurt?!"
["When it cos to flying, 70% is skill, 30% is instinct, and the remaining 90% is pure courage!"]
Amber proudly declared her personal flight theory.
She even boasted that she had successfully retaken her flight license exam over a dozen tis using this flawless theory—and passed every single ti!
["...Traveler, let's just go get a proper flight license from Acting Grand Master Jean," Paimon muttered, thoroughly unnerved.]
And so, the story reached a satisfying conclusion.
Amber captured the Raptor, the Traveler obtained their license, and the only one left worse off was Acting Grand Master Jean, whose workload had increased slightly.
"I'm done for... Acting Grand Master Jean is definitely going to lecture ."
On the way back to Mondstadt, Amber sighed dejectedly.
Even though she had caught [Raptor], her reckless actions were bound to earn Jean's disapproval.
To Jean, Amber's safety would always co before capturing any criminal.
"Amber, don't worry! It was who blew up the Hilichurls! It's Klee's fault—Acting Grand Master Jean won't bla you!"
Klee walked alongside Amber.
While carrying out a monster-clearing mission, Amber had coincidentally run into Klee, who had sneaked out, and decided to bring her along.
During the mission, Klee had a blast setting off explosions, while Amber spent the whole ti reading.
Klee assud Amber was worried about being scolded because of her excessive bombing.
"Little Klee~" Amber suddenly scooped Klee up into her arms.
"Eek?!" Klee was startled but didn't resist.
Amber knew all too well that she was likely headed for the confinent room this ti.
Jean might tolerate her reckless flying, but she would never condone risking her life.
As expected, Jean was furious.
Adding to her workload was one thing, but endangering herself was unacceptable.
However, to Amber's surprise, the citizens of Mondstadt seed to have a different perspective.
They appeared to be enchanted by Amber's bold romanticism—so much so that they stopped writing complaint letters altogether.
The people in the square, having just finished reading Amber's story, spotted her carrying Klee and imdiately sward around them as if they'd never seen her before.
"Wh-what's going on, everyone?"
Even soone as sociable as Amber found the crowd's enthusiasm overwhelming.
"Klee doesn't know~" Klee shook her head.
One voice from the crowd called out, "Amber, can you say it again? That line!"
"Huh? Which line?"
"The one that goes, 'The wind says… it's ti to fly!'"
Amber's cheeks flushed pink as she used Klee to partially hide her face.
Shouting that line in the heat of the mont hadn't felt embarrassing at all, but repeating it in front of so many people was downright mortifying!
"Th-the wind says… it's t-ti to fly."
Amber was too kind to refuse their request.
"Too quiet!" the crowd complained.
"THE WIND SAYS! IT'S TI TO FLY!" Amber finally gave in and shouted.
"WOOOOOH!" The crowd erupted in cheers.
And thus, the humiliating spectacle ca to an end.
If it had been Collei in Amber's place, she might have died of embarrassnt on the spot.
That said, Amber still had a ways to go before matching Hu Tao's level of shalessness.
If it had been Hu Tao, she would've leaned into the attention and recited every single line from the book.
With this, two of the three stories in Love and Teyvat had been told.
Only one remained: Tempus Fugit Chapter: Troubleso Work—a tale about librarian Lisa's "laziness."
["Honestly, aside from Jean, who actually takes work that seriously?"]
The opening line was a bombshell, instantly pushing an already irritated Jean into a state of super irritation.
"My, my~"
Lisa hadn't expected the book to outright quote her like that—she usually only thought such things.
Besides, while none of them worked as diligently as Jean, they still fulfilled their duties properly.
Complaining was one thing, but the work always got done.
This line made it sound like she never lifted a finger!
In the story, Lisa continued chatting with the Traveler and Paimon.
When the topic of overdue books ca up, her mood darkened slightly.
The Electro energy around her grew restless, as if a thunderstorm might strike at any mont.
The scene sent chills down everyone's spines, prompting them to frantically recall whether they had any unreturned library books.
Several readers who had borrowed books suddenly rembered they hadn't returned them.
They imdiately abandoned the story and rushed to the library, books in hand.
An angry Lisa was terrifying.
Who knew the usually smiling librarian could be so scary when mad?
Lisa hadn't anticipated that the author's book would help her clear her workload ahead of schedule.
The "date-turned-book-recovery mission" with the Traveler described in Love and Teyvat would no longer happen.
However, not all loose ends were tied up—one book remained missing.
After investigating, Lisa and the Traveler discovered that this book had been stolen by the Abyss Order.
The stolen book was titled The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies, and it seed to hold so hidden secret.
This piqued many people's interest—especially Lisa, who had always loved books.
"The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies? That's not even a restricted book. Why would the Abyss Order steal a fairy tale?" Lisa frowned.
The book truly was just a children's story with no special content or power, which was why it had been lent to ordinary citizens in the first place.
Yet according to Love and Teyvat, the Abyss Order stole it because it concealed a secret.
What secret?
Could it be… another fragnt of history?
Lisa wasn't the only one intrigued—readers all the way in Suru were equally captivated.
An untold story, unknown knowledge—such alluring mysteries.
Only a few of the gods knew that Teyvat's history was sotis recorded in the form of fairy tales.
And The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies was a long-forgotten chapter of that history.
