Now reading: Chapter 120: 120: Mission Complete – Vampiric Scepter and a from Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue, a Action novel by PixelWarden.

Ryen had originally planned to take a nap and then head to the MC world around noon. His goal was to sort through their spoils and look for possible upgrades to their buildings.

After all, now that they had Redstone, they could automate a lot of things for convenience—like an automatic slter or a floating island elevator.

But plans never quite keep up with reality.

On one side, he had the option of quick, effortless modifications using Redstone technology.

On the other… he had Ganyu, who had finally made up her mind, willingly delivered herself to him, and was a much longer-term endeavor to handle.

Even without thinking, the choice was obvious.

Perhaps because both of them had extraordinarily powerful physiques, Ganyu only struggled a little at the start.

But after that, she adapted quickly.

As a half-adeptus beast favored by the very laws of Teyvat, her recovery abilities were undoubtedly top-tier.

Ryen, on the other hand, was a walking anomaly—a literal bug in the system.

The two of them were a perfect match.

From early morning until around ten, they only paused briefly to eat sothing to keep up their stamina.

Then they continued.

It wasn't until past three in the afternoon that things finally ca to an end.

Ryen now had to take back his previous praise for the so-called luxurious wooden furniture of Teyvat.

Yes, it was more comfortable than MC's simple beds… but it wasn't durable enough.

And with both him and Ganyu possessing abnormal strength, things got out of hand fast.

Before they knew it, the bed was gone.

The tables? Gone.

Chairs? Benches? Sofa?

All reduced to splinters.

Even the windowsill was left with a massive dent.

It was complete devastation.

Ganyu, initially clumsy and shy, had sohow developed into an expert.

But while the process had certainly been enjoyable, now that they had settled down to rest, a new problem erged—how were they supposed to explain this wrecked room to anyone else?

What were they going to say? That Ryen had sleepwalked and torn the place apart?

That was way too ridiculous.

Not to ntion, Ryen wasn't the type to sleepwalk.

If he did have a habit of breaking things in his sleep, all of Mt. Tianheng would have collapsed by now.

But then again, this wasn't a problem worth stressing over.

After all… lying beside him was Ganyu.

Who had ti to worry about trivial things like furniture?

Sprawled on the bed he had brought from the MC world, Ryen felt at peace.

Ganyu, anwhile, would occasionally glance at him, her eyes filled with an unhidden sense of joy.

Eventually, after Ryen gave her a particularly aningful look, she finally settled down.

"Ryen…"

Ganyu clung to him tightly, her large, luminous eyes fluttering with a hint of surrender.

Ryen chuckled, tapping her forehead lightly.

"Don't worry, I'll let you rest."

Ganyu nodded furiously, grateful beyond words.

Now that the thrill and excitent had faded, she realized—she was more exhausted than she'd ever been, even compared to the Archon War.

And yet…

Every single cell in her body was rejoicing, celebrating in blissful euphoria.

She couldn't describe the feeling.

But she knew—this was the happiest she had ever been since the day she was born.

"…You know, I always thought the whole 'Coconut Goat' thing was just a silly legend," she mumbled. "But now…"

Before she could finish, she pouted, her face scrunching up in embarrassnt.

"Don't say it! I-I'm a half-adeptus, after all!"

"Alright, alright, I won't say it."

Ryen shook his head with a smile.

But really, what was there to say?

He'd already confird the truth firsthand.

Sure, it might not have the miraculous properties of MC's milk—like cleansing all negative effects—but in terms of taste…

There was simply no comparison.

Tightening his arms around her, Ryen didn't bother asking aningless questions like "When did you fall for ?"

At this point, those questions didn't even matter.

After a brief pause, he murmured,

"…Why don't you just move in with from now on?"

"Mm?"

Ganyu blinked in curiosity. "Aren't I already staying here?"

"No, no."

Ryen shook his head, his tone carrying an obvious implication.

"What I an is—your room should just beco mine…"

Leaning close, he whispered into her ear,

"What do you think, Ganyu?"

The instant understanding dawned on her, her face turned as red as a ripe apple.

Too flustered to look at him directly, she nodded slightly.

Then, as if realizing she seed too passive, she clenched her fists, gathered her courage, and declared,

"I-I don't mind at all… I want to stay with you forever, Ryen!"

Ryen smiled, pressing a kiss to the tip of her horn.

He was just about to say sothing when—

A long-forgotten system notification suddenly rang in his mind.

Ding! Achievent unlocked: DIAMOND! DIAMOND!

Rewards:

New Ho Teleportation Points (x3)

Firearm: Barrett Sniper Rifle (with 30 rounds of special ammo)

Weapon: Bloodsucking Staff

Mod: Lucky Blocks

Next Achievent Quest: Wither Mansion!

Objective: Summon and defeat ten Wither Storms.

Ryen froze mid-sentence.

Noticing this, Ganyu instinctively held her breath, waiting silently.

She and the others were used to monts like this—tis when Ryen would suddenly space out while thinking about his next move for the world.

No one ever interrupted him.

After all, Ryen's plans always materialized.

And more often than not, they brought extraordinary surprises.

As for Ryen…

To be honest, he was pretty satisfied with this round of rewards.

That is—if he ignored the absolute bullshit of his next achievent mission.

Wither Mansion?

What kind of insane completion conditions were these?!

Sure, he wanted to kill Wither Storms, but…

How many Beacons did a person really need?!

Ten Wither Storms?!

This system was really out here talking nonsense!

The Wither Storm—what kind of monstrous thing was that?

It was a boss second only to the Ender Dragon!

In fact, if thrown into the Overworld, it was debatable whether the Ender Dragon or the Wither Storm would co out on top.

This thing could fly, absorb any blocks in its path, unleash explosive attacks, and fire off devastating beams. Even with full preparation, taking it down would be a challenge.

And now the system wanted him to fight ten of them?!

Did the MC Overworld even stand a chance of surviving?

Even in the best-case scenario, where Ryen had enchanted gear ready and could quickly hack a Wither Storm to death, there was still the issue of summoning them in the first place.

Those Wither Skeleton skulls—the abysmally low drop rate of those things!

He needed thirty of them. Did that an he and Ganyu had to move into a Nether Fortress and camp there indefinitely?

A thousand thoughts rushed through his mind, and Ryen had the sudden urge to drag his system out and give it a good beating.

But then again, considering the system usually hit him with challenges a hundred tis more absurd, this one could almost be considered… humane.

For now, he shoved the "Wither Manor" mission to the back of his mind. This wasn't sothing that could be completed overnight—it would take at least a couple of months.

Instead, he turned his attention to the rewards he had just received.

Compared to the utter madness of the next achievent task, the current set of rewards was actually pretty generous.

Three additional Ho Teleport points—perfect for placing around the world during his next big exploration trip.

Then there was the…

Barrett .50 cal sniper rifle, with thirty rounds of specialized ammo.

A powerful weapon, no doubt—but for Ryen, it wasn't particularly necessary.

What he really wanted was more ammo for his AK-47. No matter how much he had conserved, he was now down to just forty-five rounds. Once they were gone, the gun would be nothing more than a glorified fire poker.

But… maybe the Barrett would be a better fit for Ganyu?

After all, Liyue's legendary sniper goddess deserved a top-tier anti-materiel rifle.

He could already picture it—Ganyu perched atop a distant cliff, calmly taking aim, and in one shot… blowing Osial's head off.

All while shouting, "For Ryen!"

The satisfaction that would bring!

Still, the real treasure in this haul was sothing far more sinister—

The Bloodsucking Staff.

One of the three legendary staffs dropped by the Lich, the ultimate boss of the Twilight Forest.

An absolute top-tier weapon.

In terms of raw damage, it was laughable—just three points per hit. Not only did it lose out to enchanted swords or firearms, but even a basic wooden sword could out-damage it.

However…

Neither the Twilight Wand nor the Zombie Scepter could compare to the power of this vampiric monstrosity.

As its na suggested, the Bloodsucking Staff had a simple yet terrifying ability—

It drains life.

When used on another creature, it would forcefully lift them into the air, siphoning their life force to heal the user's HP and hunger bar.

The attack power might be low, but the attack speed was ridiculously high.

And as if that wasn't enough, the target would also be inflicted with Slowness—a cruel debuff that turned escape into an impossible dream.

In other words, getting hit by this thing was a slow, agonizing death sentence.

Every second, the victim would feel their life essence being drained away, their strength fueling the very person who was tornting them.

For an intelligent being, this was psychological torture beyond imagination.

And even if they wanted to retaliate…

They couldn't.

The staff had them suspended in midair. Even if they sohow landed safely, they'd still be crippled by the Slowness debuff, ensuring they'd never catch the user.

The ultimate kiting weapon.

The ultimate torntor's tool.

And the most ridiculous part?

It never breaks.

Or rather, its durability is tied to an energy bar.

When it runs out of energy, all it takes is a Fernted Spider Eye to recharge it.

And as soone who brewed potions regularly, Ryen had chests full of those things.

In short—he had infinite uses.

This staff was already unstoppable in normal MC.

But if he brought it to Teyvat…?

It would be absolutely, devastatingly overpowered.

Originally, Ryen had asked Zhongli about getting a Vision, thinking elental powers would be his best bet.

But now?

Now he didn't need one.

Because he, Ryen—was about to beco Teyvat's first Blood Attribute Archon.

His one and only ability?

Lifedrain.

It didn't matter if the enemy was a god or a mortal—

As long as he had the Bloodsucking Staff, they were all the sa.

Moving forward, unless he absolutely needed Fire Aspect or Looting, he was taking this weapon everywhere.

Zero durability cost. Unlimited power.

And while the Bloodsucking Staff was the best individual weapon, the real cheat the system had just handed him was—

The Lucky Block.

These blocks could contain any valuable loot found in vanilla Minecraft.

Gold, diamonds, eralds, lapis? Nothing special.

Ender pearls, Eyes of Ender, fully enchanted tools, weapons, and armor? That's where things got serious.

And in later mods, Lucky Blocks could even drop Beacons.

Of course, they weren't all lucky.

Summoning zombies, skeletons, or creepers? Annoying, but manageable.

Lighting TNT or Ender Crystals? A bit worse, but still fixable.

But if things went really wrong…

You could get a fully enchanted diamond-armored zombie nad Bob, a giant zombie with 100 HP, or even a void trap that instantly kills you.

Worst-case scenario?

A literal death cage with no escape.

Ryen wasn't particularly lucky, but he still felt like the Lucky Block was the system's way of handing him a ga-breaking exploit.

And the reason was simple.

He glanced down at the adorably clueless Ganyu beside him.

Then, speaking directly to his system, he asked:

"Hey, system… what kind of block is this?"

The system's voice echoed in his mind—

"Louder! I can't hear you!"
