The Azure Dragon Venerable's face looked extrely unpleasant as he squinted at Wang Zhan next to him, then spoke again, "I'm really curious, how did you, a little fellow, end up here?"
Wang Zhan narrowed his eyes, grinning. "Just a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong ti, but don't worry, I won't stay here for long. I just want to figure out why you are here. Of course, if you give sothing that captures my interest, I won't continue bothering your ti and your solitary cultivation."
The Azure Dragon Venerable's facial expression changed; he impatiently waved his hand, saying, "I have been remarkably patient with your aimless chatter. Leave imdiately, or don't bla for being impolite."
"Well, I would love to leave quickly, but I need to know how, don't I?"
Wang Zhan let out a sigh. After glancing around his surroundings, he shook his head, "I'm here because of a bizarre force that pulled directly to this place. Leaving isn't going to be easy. Plus, I can tell we are dozens of ters underground; breaking through the soil above isn't just a matter of brute force."
The Azure Dragon Venerable snorted, "That indeed constitutes a problem, but what does it have to do with ? If you can't leave here unscathed, wouldn't that be even better? I've been alone here for years, tired of that kind of life. Having soone to talk to could be nice."
Wang Zhan simply sat down, not showing any intention of leaving. "In that case, let's just sit here and wait. After all, I have plenty of ti. But I wonder, can you hold out? You're not as young as you used to be, and although you are not human, your ti must be running out."
Upon hearing this, the Azure Dragon Venerable's face changed instantly. He violently slapped the wall next to him, causing the earth to shake. Thanks to his Deep Fire Blade, Wang Zhan managed to steady himself and glared at the Azure Dragon Venerable, exclaiming, "What are you trying to do, old man?"
The Azure Dragon Venerable turned his face away, retorting irritably, "You myopic, insignificant human, what do you know about our Dragon Clan's lifespan? Do you think our lifespan is as short as yours, re humans? Just a century or so?"
Wang Zhan shrugged nonchalantly, "That talk might fool ordinary people, but I doubt it would fool . As a Cultivator, I'm well aware that reaching a certain level of power entails substantial changes, even extending one's lifespan. With my current strength, I could probably last another few hundred years. Do you think your old bones can last that long?"
For the first ti, the Azure Dragon Venerable felt cornered. Clenching his fists, he took a furious look at Wang Zhan and snapped at him sharply, "You cheeky youngster, keep prattling on and see if I don't teach you a lesson."
As he spoke these words, the Azure Dragon Venerable stood up, rapidly charging towards Wang Zhan. In response, Wang Zhan swiftly raised his Deep Fire Blade, instinctively engaging in combat with the Venerable.
Even though the Azure Dragon Venerable was wielding less than a tenth of his power, Wang Zhan had to use all his trump cards to hold him back. But even then, Wang Zhan couldn't resist him for long.
In the blink of an eye, Wang Zhan stumbled backwards. Observing the Azure Dragon Venerable not far away, his face turned considerably graver. He clutched his chest, speaking deliberately, "You were the one who said our eting is fate. How could you attack with such killing intent?"
The Azure Dragon Venerable dismissively retorted, "You have too much to say, brat. If I wanted to kill you, it would be easier than killing an ant. Could you still be standing here safe and sound?"
"I rely wanted to teach you a lesson and stop you from babbling on."
Wang Zhan shrugged, choosing not to react.
Suddenly, Wang Zhan grinned, leaning towards the Azure Dragon Venerable, enquiring, "By the way, that technique you just used was pretty good. What's it called?"
The Azure Dragon Venerable turned his face away, "Quit trying to butter up, kid. Don't think I don't know what you're up to. You want to teach you that technique, don't you?"
"Let remind you, don't bite off more than you can chew. You, a re human, wish to learn a Dragon Clan technique? Setting aside whether your body could withstand it, with your human physique, how much of its power could you unleash?"
Wang Zhan rely shrugged, unfazed, replying, "It's not as simple as you suggest. Firstly, you need to provide with this technique. Only then can I show you the extent to which I can harness this power. Although you have always been here, you must have been a dominating figure back in your ti, right?"
"Many people outside must be well aware of you, including your technique. If you impart this technique to , I can spread it and advocate it on your behalf."
The Azure Dragon Venerable's eyes shifted slightly, "It does sound sowhat persuasive."
Nodding firmly, Wang Zhan thought to himself, It seems this Azure Dragon Venerable has been here for far too long, so he's completely oblivious to what I'm actually doing. My goal is simple, just to sweet-talk him a bit.
In the blink of an eye, Wang Zhan moved beside the Azure Dragon Venerable, promptly seating himself beside him, continuing, "Please, don't assu I'm scheming. I genuinely want to glorify the Dragon Clan's techniques. After all, in my ventures outside, I've yet to encounter the Dragon Clan."
The Azure Dragon Venerable disdainfully glanced at him, finally responding coldly, "What would you humans understand? Moreover, I'm aware of what's in this plane. It's littered with nothing more than weaklings. Given the conditions of this plane, how could there possibly be anyone from the Dragon Clan here?"
Wang Zhan paused, but quickly grasped the situation; the Dragon Clan wasn't an everyday race after all. He had heard rumors about them, but those were just legends. This had forced the Dragon Clan out of public sight, but this didn't imply that the Dragon Clan never existed.
Recalling this, Wang Zhan had a new idea, quickly adding, "Ah yes, I forgot to remind you. It seems people outside have forgotten about the Dragon Clan. Even if you declare yourself as a mber, they won't react or feel anything. They might even mistake you for a demonic beast."
"Though this is a low-level plane, I doubt you'd want to tarnish the Dragon Clan's reputation, right?"
Just as expected, on hearing this, the Azure Dragon Venerable's expression changed instantly. With widened eyes, he shot a glance at Wang Zhan, fiercely gripping his arm and rebutted, "How could the Dragon Clan possibly be compared to those demonic beasts?"

With a resigned smile, Wang Zhan heaved a sigh, saying, "This isn't because we lack foresight. All these years, we've been contending with the demonic beasts, leaving us little ti to recall the legends of the Dragon Clan or any other race."
"This brings to my main point. If I could carry your technique away from here, everyone on the Star War Battlefield will know about the Dragon Clan. And I would be able to publicize it for you."
Watching Wang Zhan, the Azure Dragon Venerable remained silent for a while before he finally replied, "I get the feeling you're not that kind-hearted, kid."
Although I said that, I have no intention of killing Wang Zhan, the Azure Dragon Venerable thought. I can sense he's extrely cunning, yet... there's sothing interesting about this kid. Maybe I've been here too long, or maybe it's because I've been alone for so many years, have lost touch with the outside world, and actually want soone to talk to.
