Making his way toward the edge of the floor, Noah looked down to see Ruo'er and Yuan Ming clashing against each other. Seeing that the battle was yet to be over, he sighed and sat down.
"Why are you doing this?" As he looked down, the masked boy heard a soothing yet alluring voice in his ears.

"You know what I an, going in a roundabout way, making deals with the boy Xin Yan wants to kill. Why are you doing this? Even if he betrays the sect and does what you asked him to do, what about the promise to make him the sect master of the sect?" Noah could sense worry and tenderness in her voice.
He knew she was worried that he would have a conflict with Xin Yan if she ca to know about this little deal.
"Don't worry, I only told him that he would beco a sect master; I did not give protection. Sect masters die every day. One more won't make much of a difference." Noah's words cald down Elysia a little.

"I am worried that she will be lost... in revenge." After a mont of silence, Elysia once spoke up in a soft voice.
"She is not as weak as you think of her. Mothers can be the strongest warriors than any God of war on the battlefield. After all of this is over, I am sure she will find her will to live; if not for herself, she will for Long Tian at least." While Noah replied to Elysia, his fingers weaved a small sapling conjured by yang, earth, and water qis.
As soon as the sapling appeared, it withered away, crumbling to dust, only leaving a sour feeling in Noah's heart.
"It looks like the fight is over." He looked back on the platform. Ruo'er was fighting as a way to distract himself.

Back on the lower floors, everyone thought that Yuan Ming would be instantly dealt with like others and be sent to the lower floor, but to their surprise, more than an incense stick's worth of ti passed by, and the fight still did not co to an end.
"How long would this go on?"
"That boy has hidden himself really well."
While the others were mulling over how slow the fight was going on, Shenwei looked at the second topmost floor with a calculating glint in his eyes.
"The Soaring Heaven Sect has gotten so good luck. They are destined to rise if things continue well for them. These two… No! Not just them; we need to deal with the entire sect." He muttered under his breath, seeing the fluctuation of the fight affecting the air.
Then suddenly all the fluctuations ca to a halt, indicating the fight had co to qn conclusion.
"I wonder who won." Yueha wondered as she waited for the losing person to jump downwards to take the third level.
At that mont, a figure appeared in everyone's sight.
"She lost?" Ma Li gasped in disbelief as she saw Ruo'er jumping down to the next platform.

"Is he that strong?" Hearing the cold voice from Jiang Shi's mouth, Ruo'er felt a little odd.
"No… It's just that he has more combat experience; I need to train more after going back."
Hearing her reply, Jiang Shi nodded before getting up.
Ruo'er prepared herself for the fight, but to her surprise, Jiang Shi moved calmly towards the edge of the platform. She did not think they were close enough for the girl to sacrifice her spot like that.
"No need to be surprised; you are stronger than , and we don't know what we might face on the next floor. We need to be prepared for anything." Without looking back, Jiang Shi calmly spoke before jumping to the next floor.
Just like that, the ranking changed once again, and the trial ca to an end.

"With this, the preparations are complete, all that's left is for these disgusting mortals to fall into the trap." In the empty room, the mysterious woman, floated around, checking the arrays she had deployed on the floor.
There were several diagrams and runes spread all around the room. Seeing the work she had done, a glint of satisfaction and appreciation appeared in her eyes, showing that she was pleased with herself.
"After today, I will beco the real owner of this heavenly treasure. No one can stop after that." Her eyes flashed with a dark light as she looked at the floating orb a little farther from her in the room.
It was the sa orb that was along with her at the topmost level. The orb seed to pulse with an ethereal energy after so intervals of ti.
If Noah was here, he would recognize this energy as Mana!
As if sensing sothing, the woman flew in another direction while looking at the place where space itself seed to wrap itself. She hurriedly cloaked her energy to not give herself away to anyone before she could even start her devilish sche!

It did not take long before ten young humans appeared out of thin air. Before they could gather themselves, sothing attracted their attention.
"Welco to the final trial, Mortals! Here you will either gain sothing or lose everything!"
Looking at the haughty and authoritative figure of the red-eyed woman, most of the boys and even so of the girls went into a trance. Seeing the sight, she could not stop a feral grin from appearing on her face.
