The next morning, Xin Yan woke up early in the morning and walked out of her room to stroll around in the garden that ca along with the courtyard they rented. While walking, she admired the beauty of the flowers planted in the ground.
*Woosh*
She started to lose herself in the pleasant feeling of the calm wind and the ambient scene of the sunrise, but then sothing happened that caused her to frown. She did not imdiately act on her instincts but used her soul sense and saw Noah and Elysia resting in their respective rooms.
Although Elysia would much prefer sleeping with Noah, the seal he placed on the room prevented her from entering. She could enter, but seeing the seal as Noah's way of saying that there were so places he would like to keep boundaries, Elysia respected his wishes.

After confirming their states, she disappeared from her place and reappeared in the sky. She sensed that not many people were in the area. Even the ones who were in the area seed to be too weak to sense her. With no worries about being noticed, Xin Yan looked for the source of the unusual feeling she was getting.
Her face turned in a particular direction where a man wearing regular cultivator clothes stood looking around here and there before he started running in a random direction.
Her figure once again flashed through the air, reappearing behind the man. Forming a grappling claw, she rushed in the direction of his neck, trying to hold him down in one place.
Before she could touch the man, he lunged forward and twisted around to face her.
Xin Yan was montarily stunned to see the grinning expression on the man's face. Although he looked like a normal human, the crazed expression on the person's face was anything but human.

In her mont of distraction, she failed to notice the guy's belly slowly swelling up like a balloon.
Before she noticed it, it was too late for her to react.
Seeing the man's body glowing and pulsing with energy, Xin Yan's mind flashed with mories of all the happy and sad tis she had been through.
Despair flashed through her mind as she thought she might not be able to survive this blast and see her son again.
The despair soon turned into regrets. The regrets of not having more ti with Noah and the thought of not seeing him and Elysia again gnawed at her heart.
Everything flashed through her mind in a single fraction of a second. She thought of all the possible scenarios of evading the attack this close to herself.
All she could do was brace herself from the impact of self-destruction.
*Boom!*
As the dust settled, a clear view of the capital city ca into view. Everything in the three-mile radius of the blast was annihilated without any exception.
Charred corpses lay on the ground. The guards.
"Hurry up and find who dared to cause trouble in the royal city." Guards ca flying in from all directions as they started looking at the scene with solemn looks on their faces.
"Sir, there is no one suspicious in the area. Even the people who died had qi traces of the residents who had been living in this place for a long ti." One of the guards rushed towards their superiors and reported in detail to him.
"I want all the details of everyone that is living in the five-mile radius of this place." Giving the orders, the leader left the place in the direction of the royal palace.
High up in the air,
Two shadows entrapped in a translucent barrier stayed hidden from plain sight.
Xin Yan could not stop her heart from beating at the speed of a horse running. The reason for that was not because of her close encounter with death but because of her close encounter with the person she liked.
She was standing on a thin blade of a sword with Noah standing close to each other. Although knowing that it was her son's body made it difficult for her to feel anything, just a slight spark of feeling was enough to light up her heart.
Taking a deep breath, Xin Yan sighed in relief.
Due to her mistake, she was close to getting fatally injured from the explosion. Fortunately for her, soone else arrived in ti.
After analyzing it calmly, she realized that even the self-destruction was not strong enough for it to destroy her body.
Although it could leave her in the sa state as the corpses on the surface, she would not die from such a small explosion.
"How did you get here in ti?" She asked with a comical look on her face. She knew that he was sleeping so how did he arrive so far away so suddenly?
"I rember sleeping and then soone using their soul sense to look inside my room…. Might as well have thrown off the bed." Noah rolled his eyes before looking down with narrowed eyes.
His eyes were fixed on the spot where the boy died for a second before he looked away and flew in the direction of their new ho. Xin Yan stayed silent the whole ti on their way.
It was not until the three of them sat together to talk that she spoke.

"I sensed a weird gaze on the house, keeping an eye on our monts. So I went to see who it was and what their motive was." In the middle of the hall, all three of the residents were present as they said they were drinking from their cups.
"I also sensed it yesterday, but it disappeared before I could sense the location and never reappeared again. But this morning when you woke up, I sensed it once again." Hearing Xin Yan's explanation, Noah lowered his cup before speaking.
He narrated what he felt when they left the place after buying this place.
"Who do you think they are and why did they choose to follow us?" Elysia interjected with a curious look on her face.
Her questions aroused two deadpan gazes on her body. As if they were asking, ' Seriously YOU are asking this?'
As if understanding the aning behind their gaze, Elysia did not say anything but pulled a book out of nowhere.
"It was the first thing I did, and I did not notice anything related to this man. No one else was acting like how you ntioned him to be acting. It seems like he was acting on his own." she hid her face and narrated in an almost whispering voice.
She did not like it when she failed to provide when Noah asked for sothing from her. It made her feel like she was not good enough.
"No need to think too much about it. I am sure whatever it is we can deal with it when it cos. I will still look around for information." placing the empty cup on the table Noah explained with a smile on his face.
"Where will you be going to?" Elysia returned to normal hearing Noah's comforting and soothing tone. She and Xin Yan asked the question at the sa ti. Surprisingly the answer did not make them happy at all.
