"Would you like to be my disciple, Long Tian?" After accepting Song Liu as his disciple, Wu Han seed to have gained so unfounded confidence and asked Noah to be one as well. His eyes were filled with eagerness and expectation.
"Pfft!" Noah placed his hands on his face to try and stop himself from laughing out loud. "Sorry, let just get this straight, you want to be my teacher?"
"Not teacher… but Master." Wu Han's confidence staggered seeing Noah's reaction; he could not help but wonder if Noah was from any hidden power because he knew about the known ones and he had never heard of anyone as talented as Noah.
"Good one." Noah chuckled while patting Wu Han's back. "For to even accept you as my teacher, let alone my master, you should know more than ."
"I do know many things that even the top powers have no idea about." Wu Han countered imdiately. Just like others, he also did not like being looked down on by soone who was not even one-third his age.
"Really? Let take one of your disciples as an example, Song Liu. You did not even know why she was not cultivating, and even now you have no idea what is wrong with her body." Noah pointed out carefully.
"I do not want to make you feel bad or I am not looking down on you, but you are not even strong enough to beat in the sa realm." Seeing the unconvinced expression on Wu Han's face, Noah sighed and spoke up bluntly.
He did not want to hurt the man's feelings. During this one day, he had a good ti with Wu Han. He could not have an open conversation like this with Elysia or Xin Yan, and even they understood this point. This was the reason Elysia was not talking inside his mind every other second.
"Now you are just being arrogant." Wu Han did not believe Noah at all. "I am at Soul Budding Realm. Even if I have my hands tied, I can beat a brat like you without any trouble. You can seal my realm all you want, but the battle experience I have can alone help win easily."
Shi San's eyes widened hearing Wu Han's realm. She could not believe that the poor-looking, perverted idiot in front of her was such a strong man. 'He should be one of the strongest n on the continent.'
Unlike the shock Shi San was facing, Song Liu did not look much affected by the information. It was like either she was too ignorant to know about the power the cultivators in that realm held, or she knew about it before.
"It's your choice if you believe or not, but I won't be your student or disciple." Seeing the dejected look on the man's face, Noah offered another choice. "I can be an elder at your sect if you are able to handle the consequences."
Hearing Noah's words, Wu Han felt like scoffing and cursing at him, but when he heard the entire sentence, he beca curious as to what consequences he might face for taking soone like him as an elder.
"We should talk more at my ho. I can take a better look at your disciple's problems there. But first, I need to ask you sothing, madam." Noah suddenly changed the topic after hearing sothing inside his head. "I would like to know if you have heard about so weird people walking in the capital, or anyone suspicious?"
Hearing his question, Wu Han's attention was imdiately diverted to the topic. His eyes narrowed suspiciously before he also looked at the madam as if waiting for her answer.
"Hmm! I don't know why you are asking this, but I don't every other person who walks by this pavilion counts. They all act suspicious." The old woman did not mind helping Noah out a little for helping her young miss, but she really did not have any idea what he was talking about.
"Then do you know anything about what happened a couple of days before? The explosion where many people died?"
"Why do you want to know about that?" It was Wu Han who spoke before the old woman could even think about it.
"I live in that area, so I need to be prepared in case sothing like this happens again." Noah shrugged at the question with a smile on his face.
"You think people have the guts to pull sothing like this again?"
"Can we stop with the pointless questions? As soon as I get the answers I am looking for, we can leave this place." Noah sighed, "I am sure you don't want two very aggressive won at your throat for keeping in a place like this."
"Are they your Daoist partners?" Not being able to control himself, Wu Han asked the question with a sly smile on his face, but Noah's death glares were enough of a reply for the man.
"Heavens are truly blind to give soone like him talent like this." Shi San muttered from the back with a disgusted look on her face.
"Ahem! You don't have to ask her anything; I can give you the answers to the questions you are looking for." Wu Han coughed out loud to hide his embarrassnt. Much to Noah's surprise, he had answers to so information he was looking for, but the sly look in his eyes told him that getting them would not be easy. Just as he expected, Wu Han added the reason he was being so generous.
"But in exchange, I want answers to so questions. Are you willing to give the answers? Hehe…" The grin on Wu Han's face was so tempting Noah to repeat what he did to gang mbers in the Tian Ren Empire, by mistake, on purpose.
Noah did not answer imdiately but looked at the old woman to see if she had the answers, but the woman shook her head, knowing what he wanted. She had no idea what happened that day as all the information was sealed by the Emperor. Only high-ranking officials knew this information, which is why she was shocked to hear that the pervert knew about this information.
She thought he was trolling Noah, but seeing how good friends they seed to be, she did not bother telling him.
"Co on, I am not asking you to be a disciple anymore. Isn't that a good thing!" Seeing the dark look on Noah's face, Wu Han nudged him with an even wider grin.
"Fine, I will agree to your offer, but you have to promise to behave properly at my house or whatever will happen to you would be your fault."
"I swear!" Hearing Noah's warning, Wu Han agreed without hesitation, but it did not take him too much after reaching Noah's ho to break the promise.
