Everyone in the room suddenly beca confused upon hearing the mocking tone in the demon's voice.
"You are confused why they all committed suicide instead of killing you, right? You will never understand it... The first thing I prepared for when I laid out this plan was my death. Don't bother reading my mories; you won't be able to!"
Ruo'er noticed that the blood on the floor had completely disappeared. The mage who was holding the body of the demon king was shocked to see the body becoming lifeless in his hands.
"Everything for The Red Dawn!" Those were the only words that echoed in the empty castle before it started to shake.
*BOOM!*
They all watched as the whole castle fell to rubble, leaving only the person with purple hair standing, holding the head of the demon king, separated from its body.
*Shatter!*
Suddenly, their surroundings shattered into light particles as everyone returned to the room they were standing in.
Even after returning, no one spoke for a while as they all tried to comprehend everything that just happened.
"What is this Red Dawn…?" Wuhan was the first person to break the silence. Others also looked at Noah, waiting for his explanation.
Seeing their expectant looks, Noah sighed before shaking his head, "I don't know."
Silence descended in the room as Noah felt several pairs of eyes boring into him. "I seriously do not know anything about them."
"What I just showed you was my brief and only encounter with that organization." Noah clarified his words slowly so he could clear their confusion. "I looked for the traces of this organization all over the world, but I never encountered them again, as if they all had vanished from the surface of the world."
"How is that possible?" Ming Ye frowned.
"This is the most terrifying thing about the organization— NO! Cult. They are a cult where people are fanatical about their lord. They have no fear and no sense of panic when they make a decision. While so of the people are forced to follow their lord with soul-controlling techniques, the rest follow the cause out of their own will."
"That is terrible…" Ruo'er frowned, expressing her hate for the people.
"So you know nothing more than any of that?" Wuhan asked with his eyebrows raised. "I don't think that's the only reason you called us here, is it?"
Noah smiled, seeing the slight smirk on the man's face, and continued, "Indeed, even though I do not know anything about their main objective and their plans, there are still many things I know about them."
Noah walked back and took his seat in the Sect leader's place, much to soone's annoyance, and signaled the rest to take their seats.
"First of all, it may be possible that the person who is leading the cult in this world is not from my world… But the way they are working is similar to how people do things in my world. They are just using the resources and energy of this world."
Wuhan begrudgingly sat on Noah's seat and listened to his explanation.
"From what I have gathered till now, these people have a base sowhere, and they are proceeding with their plan at a very fast pace." Noah was uncertain about revealing the source of his news, so made so things up and mixed truth with lies.
"What are we supposed to do without knowing their goal or plan?" Wuhan held his forehead with one palm while tapping his finger on the armrest of the seat.
"There is one thing you have to do as soon as possible," Noah spoke up with a serious look on his face. Seeing Wuhan looking at him, he added, "You have to solidify your rule over every force in the Empire."
"Why?" Wuhan's frown deepened upon hearing the proposition. Although he was a powerful ruler, he never had any great ambitions such as extending his territory or making his subordinate kingdoms submit.
"Wuhan, it is not the ti to be soft." Noah sighed and looked deep into his friend's eyes. "As we talk, who knows how many forces are being taken over by the people from the Red Dawn Cult."
Wuhan clenched his hands into a fist hearing Noah's words. "You do not want to be overwheld by all of the forces under you, along with those sects. If you do not do anything, they will eventually be overtaken by the people they will control from the inside."
"Wuhan, do you rember what happened in the capital city a month ago? I am not saying this is a possibility, but I am telling you that this could happen." Seeing the look of hesitation on Wuhan's face, Noah walked over to him and patted his shoulder.
"What this person says is right, Wuhan." Ming Ye, who had been silent for a while, opened his mouth to speak, "If they have the power to control the people without them even noticing, it is going to be mayhem."
Ruo'er looked at the face of her grandfather from the side. She had never seen him this worried. Xin Yan, on the other hand, stayed silent in her seat.
"I need so ti to think about this." After staying silent for a while, Wuhan opened his mouth and looked Noah in the eye. With a nod, Noah returned to the seat.
"On the topic of their controlling technique, they use a type of curse symbol to send the curse directly at the persona and make them lose their consciousness." Noah's words sent shivers down their spine as they could not help but imagine themselves being the puppet under soone else's command.
"Have you prepared for anything with these people?" Xin Yan spoke up instantly, surprising the rest of the people in the room. They were surprised by the wave of disgust coming off her. "What if we get hit by one of those curses?"
Her disgust was enough for her to manifest her dragon eyes. Noah snapped out of his daze, seeing her sharp posture, and nodded, "There is a way and there is not as well."
"You an you can deal with the curse and you cannot deal with it at the sa ti?" Wuhan narrowed his listening to Noah's vague words. He seemingly understood what the man wanted to convey.
