Before the man could finish speaking, one of the nearby tal blocks from the destroyed weapon started levitating in the air and shot through his chest, producing the sound of tal colliding as it did so.

Noah moved forward as his voice, enhanced by qi, sounded throughout the forest, dripping with sarcasm and a teasing tone as he added, "If you have sothing to say to , please have the guts to co and speak face-to-face with . As soon as Noah stopped speaking, a chilling silence enveloped the whole area. Deep in the forest, a man similar to the puppet that had just been destroyed monts ago sat on a makeshift wooden throne.
"How dare you! A re mortal dares to challenge the authority of soone chosen by the Lord!" General Amon slamd and crushed the armrest of the throne he was sitting on as he stood up from his chair.
"You dare to call a coward? I will let you know what is the fate of those who stand against the might of God, starting with destroying this sect of yours right before your eyes." The air behind him shifted; each of his words, fueled by his anger, managed to reach the ears of those present inside the barrier.

"I hope you don't fall into despair easily as you witness what the people of our faith are capable of doing." In response to Noah's provocation, the general sent another wave of weapons.
Four shadow figures phased out of the depths of the forest. One could see they were different from the previous device when they ca into view.
And, unlike the previous device, these four devices shot in different directions and did not aim for the centermost position of the barrier.
"These ones seem to have a different function from the previous device," Old Man Ming comnted when he saw the conical shape of the four devices that had landed before the barrier, forming a single line.
Thud!
Thud!
Bang!
Unlike before, Noah did not have any intention of waiting for the weapons to act against them.
As soon as they landed on the ground, he signaled the others and sent a wave of attacks at them together.
Seeing their actions, General Amon's lips under the mask curved upwards to form a chilling smile.

"This is…" Noah's expression changed as he saw the interior of the device, where several small purple lights started pulsing.

"Now you will face your destruction!" The general's body rose to the sky as the ground beneath him started to tremble.
Zheng!!
"What's going on?!" Shisan felt a sense of foreboding when she saw the purple light pulsing far away from them. As the light grew intense, a small invisible wave started to release from it, moving towards the barrier.
The three elders beside Shisan were able to sense this change with their soul sense, while the others were startled to see a small gaping hole appearing right in the middle of their sect barrier that had been standing before them, protecting them all like an impenetrable fortress!
"How is that possible?" Tian Heng muttered in disbelief as he saw sothing that defied all of his common sense. The others beside him were equally shocked.
'To think they would have sothing like this.' Noah imdiately tried to close the hole with his power, but he felt the device was not only creating the hole but also corroding the energy, making it difficult to restore the barrier.
'I have to give up on this barrier; otherwise, it will only be a waste of resources and our strength.' Noah imdiately made up his mind as he felt the energy corroding at a faster rate than it was restoring.
Watching his decisive action elated the mood of the general even more. "Just wait for us; as soon as this barrier collapses, there will be no more Benevolent Guardian Sect! Oh, how I will enjoy turning you all into my puppets~"
Instead of responding to his provocation, Noah looked at Xin Yan. Understanding his hint, she raised the sword that appeared in her hand.

The rest watched in shock as they saw strands of sword intent gathered at the edge of her blade.
"Starfall Slash!" With a wave of her hand, Xin Yan launched four tangible star shaped sword intent at the four devices at the sa ti.
"Another futile–" Amon snorted coldly as he saw the tip of the device glowing once more, but soon his words got stuck in his throat when the attack managed to land on the devices without being absorbed by them.

What happened next brought on a smile to the faces of the people from Benevolent Guardian Sect.
The devices were cleaved in half before they blew up from the residual energy of the attack.

"How dare you!! How dare you destroy the creation of my dear!!!" General Amon was truly enraged when he saw the pieces of the devices flying through the air.
A huge amount of qi erupted from Amon's body, changing the course of the wind. The aura around his body shifted as he felt such rage for the first ti in his life since he received the divine guidance of their lord.
"Anyone who dares to destroy 'her' precious creation will face my wrath!" In his outburst, Amon looked in Xin Yan's direction, his aura destroying everything around him.
Even though his facial expression was hidden beneath a cloth piece, anyone could tell it didn't look good.

The rubble on the ground trembled as a huge gap appeared in the air.
One after another, figures started to drop out of the gap and gathered around Amon.
Each of these figures looked similar to each other and gave off a similar aura. Leading these figures were two, their faces also covered with the cursed cloth of the cult.
As if in response, Noah and Xin Yan released their partial dragon transformation. anwhile, the latter led the disciples, including Song Liu, to the back, aiming to protect them.
Shisan clenched the daggers in her hands and looked at the old man beside her, who seed to have shed his gentle aura at so point and looked a little nacing.
He stood tall in the air with his half-open eyes fixed on the enemy while his hands clasped behind his back.
Amon was a little startled by Noah and Xin Yan's transformation, but he did not pay much attention, knowing he had the advantage of numbers over these few people.
As he looked at each one of them, his gaze stayed on Song Liu for a few seconds as they narrowed slightly behind the mask. 'Looks like what he said was true.'
"Now you pay. Attack!" Shifting his attention back to Noah, Amon ordered his army to attack at once.
"Screen!!!" With the exception of the two captains, the rest of the 'human'-looking mbers marched forward at full speed, unleashing a sharp screeching sound from their mouths.
In the middle of their tracks, these troops twisted in the most inhumane way possible, their bodies twisted and turned in the most unnatural way. Their legs broke apart into eight separate thin legs, increasing their speed.
"You should feel grateful that you are the first enemies who have the honor to face my lovely creations." Seeing the look of disgust on everyone's faces, Amon snorted coldly in annoyance as he watched his army charging forward. "My puppies, tear these uncultured swines apart!"
