A while ago,
Song Liu watched as the battle unfolded without showing any intentions of helping. From ti to ti, one of the stray beasts would co towards her, but for so reason, when they got close to her, they would change their target and ignore her.

As soon as he pressed the button, the screen glowed with green color. "Everything is good. I am sorry for the inconvenience, Young Miss. Your identity in our cause has turned very special, which is why we don't have room for mistakes."
Song Liu nodded before turning back towards the battlefield. "Why can no one see you?"
"That is because of my artifact. It can help hide in plain sight. Unless soone looks for deliberately with their soul sense, they cannot discover in this state—" Without any hesitation, the captain started explaining everything to Song Liu, but suddenly, in the middle of his words, the man paused.
"What happened?" Sensing the shift in the man's mood, Song Liu couldn't help but ask.
"Things are not going as we planned. We have to change our plans. I will have to ask Miss to create a distraction for us to get out of this place." He turned to look at Shisan, killing the group of their mbers from their side.
"What do you suggest?" Song Liu did not show any signs of displeasure and even showed a bit of eagerness to help.
"You have to seriously injure one of those kids, which can take their attention away from the general while I will handle the rest."
"Them?" Song Liu looked at Ruo'er and the rest as a frown appeared on her face. Seeing the frown, the captain paused, but her next words caused his tense body to relax.
"I have a better plan. I will take out one of their elders."
Just when she thought the man would accept her idea, she saw him shaking his head. "Killing soone might make them act more aggressively while chasing after us."
"…Leave it to ." Song Liu paused for a while before replying calmly, her eyes flashing with a cold light. Without saying anything else, the man disappeared from the area once more, leaving Song Liu alone.
"Wait here, kids. I will go help Elder Ming—" Glancing at Shisan, who had killed the rest of the cult mbers, she took out the zither from her storage ring and pulled the string without holding back.

"You traitor, die!!" As she scread, Ma Li's fist arrived right before Song Liu's face.
"No! Back away, little girl!" Ming Ye shouted from a distance as he sensed sothing. He hurriedly tried to kill the people surrounding him, but the numbers were in tens.
There were more than twenty Golden Core Realm cultivators that were trying to hold him with their lives, as killing him would be even out of their dreams.
Ma Li was only a foot away from Song Liu, so she did not react in ti, but her fist kept moving forward.
Yet… the fist never connected.
The air around Song Liu suddenly started to burn. It burned so much that even the space shattered before an ethereal being appeared behind Song Liu.

High up in the sky, Noah faced Amon with a solemn look on his face. Standing between them was the sa cloaked man who had been beside Song Liu a while ago.
"You must be wondering why I am letting them die like that, right?" Amon asked as he looked at the dead bodies of all of his subordinates.
