Brandon stared at Elize in disbelief after hearing her words.

A few monts passed as he processed the information, and he lowered his gaze to her lap.

A soft murmur escaped his lips "So I am just a lab experint?"

Hearing this, Elize's eyes shrank and she hurriedly shook her head "No, no dear..."

She leaned forward and hugged him in her arms, wrapping her arms around his shoulder. "You are my son..."

He leaned forward and buried his face in the crook of her neck, his arms wrapping around her back.

Several dozen ters away, a woman was sitting like a cat on the tiled rooftop of a two-story building overlooking the park with binoculars in hand.

Through the high-grade binoculars, she observed the duo on the bench.

"Hmm…" she humd to herself. "They're just… hugging?"

She adjusted the focus knob slightly.

"Elizabeth Fleurdys," she whispered under her breath, a touch of awe slipping in.

"The Fallen Empyrean. The Cradle of Light, the Blade of the Fourth War, the woman who once laid waste to the Skybound Citadel in a single night…"

She lowered the binoculars briefly and chuckled "Even stripped of her title, she still has that unmistakable aura."

The woman turned her gaze to the young man in Elize's arms.

"The boy, though… he's different. He has thrown the world into chaos just by existing."

She raised her binoculars again, adjusting the zoom as she saw Elize.

"Hmm… she's pulling away now?"

Her eyes narrowed with curiosity as Elize carefully leaned Brandon back onto the bench, making sure he was comfortable.

Elize then stood up slowly, brushing invisible dust from her sleeves.

The woman looking at them blinked faintly and ELize was gone.

The spot by the bench was empty.

"Huh?" the woman murmured, whipping her binoculars downward to check again.

"W-When did you-?" the woman stamred, heart racing.

The woman gulped, instantly realizing her mistake.

"I… I wasn't here to harm him," the woman ,uttered, raising her hands slowly.

"I was ordered to watch. That's all."

Elize's expression didn't change "By who?"

The woman hesitated.

Elize took a step forward, and the sound of her shoe touching the rooftop echoed louder than thunder in the agent's ears.

A violent crater appeared beneath her impact site, sending fractured bits of pavent and dirt flying.

Lampposts flickered from the shock, car alarms scread in the distance, and dust choked the air.

"AURGHH!" she scread in pain as she felt like her entire body was wracked from that one kick.

Her arms twitched as her legs bent at wrong angles.

The helt she was wearing was split into two and her vision swam with blood.

Before she could scream further, Elize stomped her foot on her mouth and silenced her "Shhh. Stop screaming, my boy is sleeping..."

As she muttered, she twisted her foot, breaking the woman's jaw and teeth.

Blood erupted from her mouth, pouring down her cheeks, soaking into the dirt and debris around her.

"Hmm…" Elize murmured as she lifted her foot, watching the woman twitch and gag.

"You can't scream anymore."

For a mont, Elize simply looked at the woman as she struggled to keep herself alive.

Oh! Elize raised an eyebrow curiously "You are that A-rank woman who recently moved into Solvyrn city, 2 streets away from my residence."

Kara tried to reach for her communicator with her one trembling, blood-slicked hand, inching toward the cracked device clipped to her belt.

"GRRRR!" She scread silently as her throat was already wracked, making her unable to even scream.

Seeing this, Elize took her mobile and quickly called Charlotte.

Charlotte who was on her bed, saw her sister calling her.

She quickly picked it up and spoke "Sister?"

"Charlotte, you must have so people in Solvyrn city, right? Ask soone to co and pick a pest here. Near the main park."

Charlotte quickly understood what she is saying and nodded her head "Sure, sister."

With that, Elize cancelled the call and tucked the mobile back in her pocket.

At this ti, Elize heard so footsteps and turned her head to look at the shadow walking towards her.

"Honestly? Can't you keep your ass to yourself and not cause chaos for a while?"

Ravene walked out of the dark night, stepping closer to Elize with two drinks in her hand.

Elize shrugged casually "Bitch I was sitting calm for a few years; this one tried to spy on us. So I got no other choice..."

Ravene looked down at the woman and raised an eyebrow "Did you kill her?"

As she asked, she tossed one of the beer bottles to her.

Elize swiftly caught the bottle and twisted it open "Nah, just knocked her unconscious. She is still alive..."

Ravene smiled dryly "Just knocked her unconscious? She will die if she doesn't get imdiate dical treatnt."

Elize shrugged her arms casually "Don't worry, soone will co to pick up this lump... co let's leave. Brandon is in the park."

Ravene nodded and followed her as they entered the park.
