The Whispering Veil’s hooded figure spoke in a low hiss, "The Veil seconds the motion. Containnt. Revocation. Before she destroys the balance we’ve fought to maintain."

Other Great Noble Houses chid in "Arrogant!" "Dangerous!"

Eldora raised a hand on her hologram, silencing everyone.

"Charlotte Fleurdys. Your actions against the Vernhail House are a direct violation of international accords. You have threatened the World Leader. You have abused your Empyrean status for personal gain."

"The Council will convene imdiately to decide your fate. Any further military mobilization or ether usage outside defensive protocols will be considered an act of war."

Charlotte leaned back in her chair, clearly unbothered "Do what you must," she said quietly.

"But rember this; I didn’t start this. Maevrith did. And if you side with her and if you protect her after what she did to my family... then you’re next."

The holograms erupted again as everyone began to shout.

Eldora’s image flickered "Session adjourned."

The screen went dark.

Panel by panel, the holograms winked out, and Charlotte sat there for a mont, stretching her arms.
