"HISS! HISS!"

In the darkness, the Snake Demon was thoroughly enraged. Its serpentine eyes were shockingly ominous. Its body twisted and transford into a massive snake, ten ters long and as thick as a water barrel. With a SWOOSH, it pursued him.

BANG! BANG! BANG.

The two-ter-tall figure also chased angrily. Each step caused the ground to tremble, as if his only mission was to rip Chu Hao to pieces, validating his existence as a ghost.

The mbers of the Ghost Dao Sect were also dumbfounded. "Hurry and chase them! We must get the True Word Brush!" one of them cursed.

anwhile, various indistinct whimpering sounds ca from the darkness. It was unclear if they were human or ghost; all were pursuing relentlessly.

Chu Hao was incredibly slippery. He quickly ran to the intersection and hailed a taxi. As he got in, he bellowed, "Driver, go!"

The driver cursed, "You damned fool! Can't you see there's already a passenger in here?"

Seeing they were about to catch up—especially a ten-ter-long snake whose speed was remarkably fast, not at all slower than his own running pace—Chu Hao was truly startled.

Besides the snake, there were others. It was unknown how many creatures lurked in the darkness. At least seven or eight Ghost Shadows were visible, all Dark Killing Ghosts, along with so fearso animals.

Why are there so many? Chu Hao was speechless.

Chu Hao pulled out a thousand yuan from his pocket and yelled, "Drive! This thousand is all yours!"

The driver's eyes widened. Shifting gears, he ordered, "Hold tight!"

The taxi shot forward with a WHOOSH. Chu Hao breathed a sigh of relief. Goodness, that scared the life out of .

"Damn it! A bunch of bastards! Fight one-on-one if you dare, instead of ganging up on !" Chu Hao cursed.

The taxi driver laughed. "Fighting with soone, young man? Youth is great. Reminds of when I was young..."

The taxi driver began to brag about how incredible he had been in his pri, even claiming to be the Mount Akina Racing God.

In the taxi, besides the driver, there was another person: a young woman. She had an ordinary appearance but a graceful deanor, and she chuckled as she watched Chu Hao.

Chu Hao coughed dryly. Not forgetting to show off, even with others present, he said, "If there weren't so many of them, Brother Hao would've knocked every single one of them down."

The taxi driver laughed as well.

BOOM! A car accident happened behind them. Chu Hao glanced in the rearview mirror and gasped.

What the hell!

The Snake Demon, over ten ters long, was catching up, moving faster than the car.

It wasn't just the snake. A two-ter-tall, middle-aged man was perched on a large truck, looking remarkably like the Green Hulk.

There were also disciples from the Dragon Tiger Sect, and they were actually driving a sports car!

In the sky, a piercing screech was heard—two huge bats were rapidly approaching.

"Holy shit! These bastards must be insane!" Chu Hao exclaid.

Chu Hao urgently said, "Driver, speed up!"

The driver, unruffled, replied, "Hey, hey... I'm the Mount Akina Racing God. Who can catch up with ?"

Speechless, Chu Hao said, "Racing God, just look in the rearview mirror! Our lives are in your hands!"

When the taxi driver glanced at the rearview mirror, his face turned pale with horror. The huge snake was almost biting the back of the car.

"Holy crap!" The taxi driver slamd on the accelerator, dodging the snake's bite.

The taxi driver, stupefied, asked, "What... what is that?"

"Just hurry up and accelerate!" Chu Hao urged.

The taxi driver wiped off his cold sweat. Suddenly looking serious, he said, "Hold tight. It's ti to show my real skills."

These days, everyone loves to show off.

But the taxi driver really did speed up. On the highway, the taxi raced forward at an incredible pace, reaching one hundred and twenty miles per hour and still accelerating.

Chu Hao gripped the seatbelt tightly. Have I really encountered the Mount Akina Racing God?

The taxi driver was dead serious. He drove the cab with such force it felt like it was being pushed from behind. Considering it was nightti with heavy traffic, he was like a yellow lightning bolt streaking through the darkness, overtaking one car after another, his speed climbing to one hundred and fifty miles per hour.

Forget the Snake Demon; even if you grew wings, you probably couldn't catch this.

The disciple from Longhu Mountain driving the sports car wiped away his cold sweat and cursed, "Who is that driving? Do they have a death wish?"

The female disciple from Longhu Mountain said helplessly, "Senior Brother, are your driving skills really up to par?"

Her senior brother replied helplessly, "That guy's driving like a maniac! I... I'll just stick to sixty miles per hour."

The two in the sports car were speechless. Helpless indeed... After all, Senior Brother just got his driver's license after coming down from the mountain.

"Driver, please slow down a bit!" Chu Hao urged, terrified.

The driver was unnaturally calm. "Have they caught up?" he asked.

Chu Hao took a look, breathed a sigh of relief, and gave a thumbs-up. "Impressive, my Mount Akina Racing God!"

The driver lit a cigarette and said smugly, "But of course."

After shaking off their pursuers and driving a considerable distance, Chu Hao got out of the car. "Thank you, Driver," he said.

The taxi driver's legs were still a bit shaky. Frightened, he asked, "Buddy, what exactly was that thing, and why was it chasing you?"

Reflecting on it now, it was truly horrifying—a snake that huge could swallow an elephant whole.

Chu Hao cleared his throat. "It's better that you don't know. Just drop off up ahead."

"Driver, I'm getting off too," said the ordinary-looking woman.

After the driver left, Chu Hao figured it was ti to head back. He fud, "Don't let catch any of you alone, or I'll annihilate you!"

Just as he was about to leave, the girl who had alighted with him said, "Mr. Chu, please wait a mont."

Chu Hao spun around, his gaze sharp and wary as he stared at the woman. "How do you know my na?"

The woman smiled gently. Her features were ordinary, but her eyes were piercing, giving her the distinct aura of a classical Eastern woman. "My na is Su Qingqi," she said.

Chu Hao was sowhat surprised and looked her up and down. She appeared to be in her mid-twenties, slender and casually dressed. She seed unremarkable, yet her eyes were incredibly expressive, as if they held a hidden story.

Chu Hao said indifferently, "You're after the True Word Brush too?"

Su Qingqi shook her head. "I'm not interested in the True Word Brush."

Chu Hao was taken aback. "Then what do you want with ?"

He certainly didn't think he was so devastatingly handso that girls would just chase after him.

Su Qingqi smiled. "Mr. Chu, have you ever heard of the Nine Gates of Huaxia?"

Seeing Chu Hao shake his head, Su Qingqi continued, "The Nine Gates of Huaxia consist of nine families, all of whom are Exorcists. I am from the Su Family, one of the Nine Gates, and we specialize in the study of divination."

Divination, the practice of forecasting human fates, belongs to the realm of taphysics. Studying divination, also known as fortune-telling, is at its core about Yin and Yang, the Five Elents, the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, and the Fuxi Bagua. It is quite complicated and profound.

No wonder she was able to find and even end up in the sa taxi.

Indeed, a master of divination could achieve such a feat—perhaps even calculate a person's lifespan. Truly impressive.

Chu Hao said, "Out with it. Why are you looking for ?"

"We would like to invite you to visit the Su Family," Su Qingqi said.

Chu Hao asked, "Visit the Su Family? What for?"

Su Qingqi smiled mysteriously. "Our Su Family has been searching for you for a long ti. We've divined that you are very likely a descendant of the Chu Family—the foremost Exorcist lineage among the Nine Gates of Huaxia."
