Jiang Yuming remained very calm. Chu Hao’s accusation of "murderer" didn’t seem to perturb him at all. He said, "What are you talking about? Who’s a murderer?"
Chu Hao said with a playful tone, "Don’t worry, Xia Lu will be coming to find you soon."
Finally, Jiang Yuming’s expression changed. He suppressed the fear in his heart and said, "What... what nonsense are you talking about? Who is Xia Lu? I don’t know her at all."
Getting nervous now?
I thought he was so big shot. How could a guy like this be worthy of an A-level task?

A look of surprise appeared on Mu Yufei’s face.
Then, many black-clad bodyguards entered the auction. They seed to be everywhere—at least thirty of them—all approaching Chu Hao.
Jiang Yuming held his wine glass and took a gentle, elegant sip, looking like a noble prince.
This Chu Hao... I don’t know what his connection is with Xia Lu, but tonight, he’s definitely not going to have an easy ti of it.
Jiang Yuming licked his lips. He planned to use a special thod to have Chu Hao executed.

Chu Hao ignored them, walked over to the poolside, and said to the female ghost, Xia Lu, "I’ll enhance your strength. Your revenge is up to you now."
"Thank you, Benefactor," Xia Lu said joyfully.
Chu Hao thought to himself, "System, I want to purchase the mid-tier Taisui at."

The scream, emitted by Xia Lu, mingled with the music in the hall. People instinctively covered their ears, their faces contorted in excruciating pain.
An eerie, chilly wind swept through the hall, plunging it into chaos. Buffet tables overturned, wine glasses shattered, and the scene descended into pandemonium as countless people panicked.
Chu Hao’s Devil Mask saw that Xia Lu’s combat power was rapidly skyrocketing, reaching 4,000.
Xia Lu, with 4,000 combat power, had reached the Xuan Sha Ghost Level.
"What... what is that?"

Xia Lu, agitated and filled with boundless hatred for this black-clad bodyguard, devoured the heart. The sight was utterly repulsive.
The man collapsed, his eyes wide with disbelief, dead on the spot.
"AH!!"
Screams filled the entire venue as the crowd began to scatter.
Chu Hao frowned at the sight of the dead man whose heart had been ripped out. "Xia Lu, the one you want revenge on is Jiang Yuming, not these others."
Xia Lu, agitated, bowed her head and said, "Benefactor, Xia Lu knows. But this man captured and offered to Jiang Yuming. He deserves to die."
Chu Hao nodded. Indeed, the man whose heart had been ripped out deserved his fate.

So dazed onlookers were already freaking out, having heard Chu Hao speak with the female ghost.

Jiang Yuming’s scalp tingled, and his legs began to tremble uncontrollably.
"Xia Lu, you... listen to ," Jiang Yuming shrieked, turning to run.
But how could he outrun Xia Lu!
Xia Lu’s ghost shadow instantly appeared before Jiang Yuming. This was Ghost Instant, a power only formidable ghosts could awaken.
Xia Lu was about to strangle Jiang Yuming when a sudden tiger’s roar erupted, blasting her away. She collapsed to the ground, her expression grim.
Jiang Yuming breathed a sigh of relief as the Dragon and Tiger Talisman Jade he wore activated. He couldn’t help but laugh wildly, "Haha... Xia Lu, what can you possibly do to now?"
"Once my brother cos, you’re definitely dead," Jiang Yuming said with a ferocious expression.
Xia Lu was terrified. Ferocious though this ghost was, when faced with sothing truly beyond her power, even a ghost could feel fear.
Xia Lu said reproachfully, "Benefactor, I’ve brought trouble upon you."
Chu Hao stepped forward, hands clasped behind his back, and said indifferently, "The Dragon and Tiger Talisman Jade, is it? So, you’re connected with the Dragon Tiger Sect."
Jiang Yuming glared at Chu Hao, his expression savage. "Kid! My brother is Jiang Yuran, an Elder of the Dragon Tiger Sect! No matter who you are, you’re a dead man!"
So, this is the difficulty of an A-level task?
The System sure is amusing. For Brother Hao, this is barely a challenge at all.
