Xiang Jian extended his hand casually. He had initially been respectful due to Qin Boren’s presence, but now that he was facing the true head of the Ritian Group, he wasn’t as concerned. As for the others, he cared even less. He figured Chu Hao was just so wealthy scion from a first-tier city, out for amusent. What could soone who only knew how to live off his family possibly achieve?
Chu Hao neither extended his hand nor stood up. Facing the flattery from a supposed big shot, his eyes were calm as he said indifferently, "Xiang Jian, your ancestors started out as tomb raiders, correct? Among your five siblings, the others died tomb raiding, didn’t they? You’re the only one still alive. You have too much of an unrefined air about you. Also, you carry the scent of corpse Qi."
Xiang Jian’s hand froze in midair. He stared at Chu Hao in astonishnt.

Chu Hao’s domineering words made the local tycoons frown.
The silver-haired man retorted angrily, "This isn’t Anli City! How dare you co here and act so arrogantly!"
"This isn’t arrogance; it’s contempt," Chu Hao said disdainfully. "And you! You’re not worthy of being on equal footing with ."
"DING... Host has successfully flexed, gaining 600 Pretentiousness Points."
This young man was so domineering it was hard to believe. Where on earth did he get such courage?
Xiang Jian chuckled. "Let’s not spoil the harmony. Brother Long, please, sit down."
The man called Brother Long sneered, "Sorry, I have other matters to attend to. I’m leaving."
With that, he strode out of the restaurant without a backward glance.
In Brother Long’s view, Chu Hao was just a conceited brat, and this negotiation had beco pointless.
Dong Qi spoke, "Sect Master, shall I go and take care of him?"
The others were shocked. How could he be so arrogant as to say such things right in their faces?
Chu Hao waved his hand. "Fighting and killing is distasteful. He will concede; it’s only a matter of ti."
Xiang Jian’s mouth twitched. Is this kid too confident for his own good?

Mu Bai looked at Chu Hao with a cold gaze.
Chu Hao glanced at Mu Bai. The man had an extrely low level of Yang Qi, an undeniable sign of a Ghost Sect Disciple.
Has the Ghost Dao Sect already targeted , so soon after I’ve arrived?
It seems Mu Bai doesn’t recognize .
"You’re the person in charge of the Ritian Group?" Mu Bai looked down on Chu Hao with an air of superiority. In Longxi City, the Ghost Dao Sect had never feared anyone. Even if people from Longhu Mountain ca, they would still dare to fight.
"Who are you?" Chu Hao asked.
Mu Bai waved his hand dismissively. "You don’t yet have the qualifications to know who I am," he said arrogantly.
The people from Anli City frowned. This man is very arrogant.

Brother Hao, you’re laying it on a bit thick!

Chu Hao’s face was a mask of indecision, so convincing that even the onlookers felt conflicted. "Can I... Can I et your Sect Master?" he asked. "I actually admire him a great deal."

The onlookers nearly choked. Does he really have to suck up *that* much?!
Xiang Jian and Jing Ji were surprised. As influential figures in Longxi City, they were vaguely aware of the Ghost Dao Sect’s existence. However, they hadn’t expected a supposed big shot from Anli City to be so thoroughly intimidated.
