After walking for about ten minutes, they could feel the grandeur of the place. There were simply too many terracotta warriors in the Ancient Tomb.

Chu Hao, being sowhat curious about the Ancient Tomb, looked around, touching things here and there. Artifacts from thousands of years ago—I really want to take a few to display in my two-hundred-million-dollar villa! How domineering and pretentious would that be?

Suddenly, Chu Hao realized that as his hand touched a terracotta warrior, there was a protruding slot on its chest. It seed pressable!

Chu Hao muttered, "What’s this?"

As he spoke, he pressed it.

Just then, Zuo Lingyun saw this and exclaid, "Don’t press it!"

But it was too late. The protruding slot, along with the entire chest of the terracotta warrior, caved in.

Chu Hao looked at Zuo Lingyun, his expression becoming unnatural. He felt like he had just done sothing terrible.

BOOM!

From within the terracotta warriors’ section of the tomb, a roaring sound ca from above, as if a chanism had been triggered. The others were also startled. That idiot actually pressed sothing! He’s such a disaster, cluelessly triggering it! They cursed inwardly.

The others in the tomb were now on alert.

The terracotta warriors around everyone began to move. Dust fell from the ancient weapons in their hands, revealing sharpened edges of cold steel. Subsequently, the bodies of the terracotta warriors rotated, their spearheads thrusting towards the people nearby as they turned.

"AH!"

Soone scread in agony. An unexpected slash had opened their abdon, and blood spurted out like a fountain. Another person’s head was split in two by a long sword, eting a violent end.

Yan Chen and Yan Furong had already braced themselves the mont they heard the rumbling. With their abilities, the movents of the terracotta warriors couldn’t harm them. However, their location faced more than just the warriors. A dense shower of arrows rained down from the rock walls above the tomb chamber, causing both their expressions to change dramatically. Barely dodging, they still sustained several wounds and broke out in a cold sweat.

Yan Chen’s expression turned dark. "Who activated the chanism?" he asked grimly.

In the darkness, it was unknown how many were hit. More chanisms had been triggered in a chain reaction, resulting in the death of thirty percent of the people present.

Zuo Lingyun’s team lost two people outright. To make matters worse, during the barrage of arrows from above the chamber, Zuo Mu, who was already injured, took another arrow to the chest. It was clear he wasn’t going to make it.

Chu Hao dodged the chanisms and was unscathed. He patted his chest. "That was close," he said. Those chanisms are truly terrifying.

Zuo Lingyun held the dying Zuo Mu, tears in his eyes, and roared furiously, "Chu Hao!!" His roar echoed repeatedly in the silent, dark space.

I feel a bit guilty, Chu Hao thought, but the feeling quickly vanished. His expression beca as impassive as still water.

The group turned on their flashlights, revealing nurous casualties. Su Changyu had taken an arrow to the shoulder, and the old man’s face was pale. Finally, the chanisms stopped. They all looked at Chu Hao with very unpleasant expressions; it was he who had touched the chanism.

Zuo Lingyun looked like he wanted to slaughter Chu Hao. "Chu Hao," he snarled, "you deliberately triggered the chanism! You want to kill us all!"

In the darkness, many who heard Zuo Lingyun’s words had ugly expressions, their resentnt towards Chu Hao growing. Yan Chen also looked troubled; the chanism had indeed been triggered by Chu Hao.

Chu Hao narrowed his eyes. This kid is trying to make take the fall!

Feeling discontented, Chu Hao retorted, "Even an old pro makes mistakes sotis. Why are you trying to pin this on ? What’s your agenda?"

Zuo Lingyun’s eyes practically spat fire.

Su Changyu sighed. "Let’s not delay any longer. Keep moving."

Zuo Baoshan’s expression was icy. Zuo Mu couldn’t continue; soone needed to take care of him. After arranging for one person to look after Zuo Mu, the rest had no choice but to press on.

The terracotta warriors here were incredibly nurous. It was unclear just how many there were, or over how many kiloters they stretched. Chu Hao, on the other hand, was relaxed. He wasn’t in a rush to open King Chu’s Tomb and could afford to slowly play along with these people.

In the darkness, Chu Hao slled oil. Walking over, he saw a sphere apparently made of oil placed on a track.

He asked Su Muyue, "Is this an oil ball?"

Su Muyue nodded. Chu Hao took out a lighter and lit the oil ball. Instantly, it caught fire and rolled along the track, igniting the track itself. As more oil balls were ignited by contact, the flas grew, illuminating the surroundings.

Everyone took off their night-vision goggles and finally breathed a sigh of relief. Chu Hao had actually done sothing good for once.

"You’re not completely clueless, huh," Little Ying remarked.

Chu Hao said smugly, "This kind of small chanism? I’ve been playing with these since elentary school."

"Keep bragging," she retorted.

However, before everyone could fully recover, they felt a surge of heat coming from beneath the ground.

Zuo Baoshan’s expression changed dramatically. "Watch out below!"

Flas suddenly spewed from channels beneath the ground. Soone was imdiately engulfed, their screams piercing the air. In that area, flas erupted ceaselessly, like a volcano.

What the hell? Chu Hao thought, stunned. This is also a chanism? He quickly jumped onto the head of a terracotta warrior.

But those who hadn’t reacted in ti were in dire straits, sprayed with flas and turning into human torches.

"AH! AH!" The burning people scread miserably. Several more people were burned to death, a heavy loss.

Zuo Lingyun’s eyelashes, eyebrows, and hair were all singed off. He had barely managed to escape further harm, his back drenched with sweat. This ti, even before he could get angry, the others were already furious. "Chu Hao, you deliberately triggered a chanism again!"

Hearing this, the others grew even more incensed. They gritted their teeth, and it seed as if fire might burst from their eyes. Is this guy a complete weirdo, or is he doing this on purpose? they wondered.

At that mont, inside the Ancient Tomb, everyone wished they could eliminate him. The tragic deaths of their companions were all because of Chu Hao.

Chu Hao remained unscathed, squatting on the head of the terracotta warrior. He rolled his eyes and said, "How is that my fault? Isn’t it better now? You can see everything clearly."

Because of this latest chanism, Zuo Lingyun’s team had lost two more mbers, and the Su Family had lost one. Su Changyu’s expression was extrely ugly. It was a huge miscalculation to bring Chu Hao, this harbinger of doom, he thought.

Zuo Lingyun said angrily, "You did it on purpose! You must have known about these chanisms!"

Chu Hao stood on the terracotta warrior, looking down at everyone as if he were a god. He said coldly, "Do I need to trigger chanisms to kill you all?"

"Ding... Host’s contemptuous display has earned 700 Pretentiousness Points."

This guy, does he really have to be so arrogant? the others thought. But then again, what he said actually makes sense.

In the distance, Yan Furong’s face was unsightly, her hair partially singed. She spoke in a grim tone, "I finally understand why you wanted to kill him, Yan Chen. This brat truly deserves to die."

Yan Chen’s eyes grew colder, filled with an increasingly murderous intent. Despite this, they had no choice. Everyone needed Chu Hao, and they didn’t want to burn bridges completely just yet.

After much hardship, they finally passed through the area of terracotta warriors. Ahead, on a flight of steps, rested a coffin. It was well-preserved and adorned with totems from the Chu Kingdom era. It likely belonged to a General.
