The young lama hastily said, "Flower Rakshasa, these are the words of the Old Lama."

"Flower Rakshasa?" Chu Hao furrowed his brows.

Rakshasa, in Buddhism, refers to an evil ghost that devours human flesh. Could the Flower Goddess be an evil ghost?

Worried even more for Diao Chan, Chu Hao asked, "Is she an evil ghost?"

The young lama translated, and the Old Lama shook his head, uttering a few words.

The young lama said, "No, the Flower Rakshasa is a Tibetan guardian spirit, a wise, young, and beautiful deity who represents the beauty of Tibetan won."

Hearing this, Chu Hao's anxiously beating heart finally settled down.

Chu Hao said, "Thank you."

In the lama temple, Chu Hao donated 100,000 yuan. This deeply touched the group of lamas, who prayed for his lifelong safety.

As Chu Hao was about to leave, soone accompanied the Old Lama out. The Old Lama spoke in Tibetan, and soone translated for Chu Hao.

Seeing the Old Lama speak, the others were imnsely excited and hurriedly translated.

"The Old Lama says there's an Evil Ghost on West Mountain and would like to request your help," the translator conveyed. "He believes that if it's you, you will surely be able to eliminate the Evil Ghost."

The other lamas stirred at this, thinking the Old Lama was speaking nonsense.

The System announced, "S-level task triggered: The Entrustnt of the Tibetan People. Objective: Eliminate the Evil Ghosts of West Mountain."

The System announced, "Completion of the task will reward 7,000,000 Experience Points."

The System announced, "Completion of the task will reward 50,000 rit Points."

The System announced, "Completion of the task will reward one Green Diamond Treasure Chest."

Chu Hao was pleasantly surprised. This was an unexpected gain! He was most in need of Experience Points and Pretentiousness Points right now. This task was perfect for him, and S-level wasn't too high. Moreover, he was desperate to grow stronger. He was far too weak; otherwise, Flower Rakshasa wouldn't have been able to take Diao Chan away.

Chu Hao said, "I can do it."

Supported by others, the Old Lama knelt on the ground and kowtowed to Chu Hao.

Chu Hao quickly helped him up.

Back at Elder Zaxi's ho, Chu Hao asked where West Mountain was.

Elder Zaxi furrowed his brows and said, "West Mountain isn't far from here, and it's easy to find. There's a village ruin nearby. Young Brother Chu, why do you want to go there? I advise against it."

Chu Hao said, "I've been entrusted with a task there. Is there sothing strange about the place?"

Knowing that Chu Hao was no ordinary person, Elder Zaxi said, "Long ago, at the foot of West Mountain, there was a harmonious village. But for so unknown reason, infants started to go missing. At night, one could often hear babies crying on the mountain.

"However, when people went up the mountain to look, they couldn't find any infants," Zaxi recounted.

Evil Ghosts eat infants, Chu Hao thought, his brows furrowing. What a relentlessly evil ghost! If I hadn't stumbled upon this, it would be one thing. But now that I have, and it's an S-level task, I have to go and exterminate it. Fortunately, I brought the Greenwood Fla Fan with .

Zaxi sighed. "Afterward, when there were no infants left in the village, won started to disappear. Unable to cope, the n gradually left. Over ten years, the village turned into the ruins it is today."

It has been ten years, Chu Hao mused. Is the Evil Ghost even still there?

He decided to go and see for himself. He found the toad, gave it a kick, and said, "Co with ."

The toad seed to have found sothing good at a sacred place and was in a surprisingly good mood. It didn't bite back at Chu Hao but grumpily said, "Not going."

Chu Hao said, "I'm taking you to find won."

The toad jumped up. "Really?! Then Your Majesty wants a Transformation Talisman!"

"Sure."

Tricking this toad into coming along might actually be useful, Chu Hao thought.

After renting a car in the county town, Chu Hao followed the map and arrived near West Mountain.

The snow-capped mountains of Tibet are quite common. This region has the highest altitude in the world, so even moderately sized, magnificent mountains are often topped with snow.

At the foot of West Mountain lay a ruined village, overgrown with vines. From a distance, it was a rare and beautiful sight.

There were no inhabitants nearby; not a single soul within a ten-mile radius.

Chu Hao was driving when his car wheels suddenly ran over sothing. He got out to look and found a bicycle, though he couldn't tell whose it was.

There's no one around here. It was probably abandoned by a cyclist, he guessed, not giving it much thought.

As the car reached the outskirts of the village, the toad looked around and said with dissatisfaction, "Are you ssing with Your Majesty? There isn't a single woman here, not even a ghost shadow!"

Chu Hao said, "No ghosts? Search carefully."

The toad fud, "What on earth are you planning?"

Chu Hao said, "I heard that beautiful won often go missing around here, each as lovely as a Fairy. So, I ca to see. If we could find them, maybe they'd be so grateful they'd pledge themselves to us."

This rogue toad, indeed more lecherous than Chu Hao, perked up at the ntion of missing beauties.

However, after searching the ancient village, they found nothing—not even an insect.

Dusk was settling, and the village exuded an eerie atmosphere.

"WHIMPER... WHIMPER..."

Soone was crying!

Chu Hao and the toad pricked up their ears. After listening for a mont, they confird soone was indeed crying.

The toad said excitedly, "You really didn't deceive Your Majesty! There really is a girl!"

Could the toad's luck actually be this good? Chu Hao wondered.

The toad urged, "Quick, give the Transformation Talisman! Your Majesty wants to go!"

Chu Hao waved his hand. "Let's check it out first."

Following the sound, they saw a figure curled up in a corner, crying as if heartbroken.

Ghosts possess Ghost Qi, and demons possess Monster Qi. Yet, the one in the corner had no discernible aura at all. Chu Hao was puzzled. Wasn't this place supposed to be deserted?

It was growing darker, making it difficult to see her face clearly. She remained curled up, crying woefully.

Chu Hao and the toad crept closer. The toad said tenderly, "Little sister, don't cry. Tell your big brother what's wrong."

The person lifted her head, revealing a pitch-black, ghost-like face. In the gloomy darkness, it was extrely eerie and terrifying. Chu Hao's face turned pale, and the toad leaped back in fright.

It wasn't that Chu Hao was afraid of ghosts. Since he hadn't sensed any Ghost Qi from the figure, he hadn't thought it was a ghost. But the sudden sight was truly horrifying! It's not being scared by a ghost that's the issue; it's being scared by sothing you thought *wasn't* a ghost!

Chu Hao and the toad kicked out instinctively.

Chu Hao aid a kick at the ghostly face. The toad did likewise, shouting, "HIYAH!"

The toad's leg shot out. The combined force from man and toad sent the "person" flying, tumbling a great distance.

The toad cursed, "Damn it, you scared to death!"

Chu Hao was also enraged. "Where did this wild ghost co from, daring to scare Taoist Master Chu?!"

"OUCH! WHIMPER... WHIMPER..."

The voice continued to cry, sounding utterly heartbroken.

Their anger and fright not yet vented, Chu Hao and the toad thought, You dare keep crying?! They lunged forward and resud the beating.

"OUCH! Stop! Don't hit ! I'm human! I'm human!"

The "person" beneath them finally spoke clearly. They were screaming in pain, and it wasn't the voice of a woman at all, but that of a man.

Chu Hao and the toad stopped. They watched as the man pulled away the cloth covering his head, revealing the bruised and swollen face of a fat man.

The fat man's face was swollen almost like a pig's, and he gasped, "Why are you hitting ?"

Chu Hao felt sowhat embarrassed. "Well, who told you to be here scaring people?"
