A Ghost fissure!
Suddenly, Chu Hao rembered a Ghost's ability to hide in another space, similar to a dinsional space. Sadako also possessed this ability, allowing her to hide within the space of a television. However, she hadn't reached that level yet; only the Sadako from the films could do so.
Could the surrounding space fissures be similar to a dinsional space, with the enemy hiding inside?
Chu Hao said, "System, is there an item to deal with a Ghost's dinsional space and draw her out?"
System: "It is recomnded that the Host purchase the Reversed Dinsional Cursed Mirror. This will require 10,000 Pretentiousness Points."
"Purchase."
"DING! Host has purchased the Reversed Dinsional Cursed Mirror, consuming 10,000 Pretentiousness Points."
Item: Reversed Dinsional Cursed Mirror
Rarity: ★★★
Ability: Can transform all negative dinsional spaces into positive dinsional spaces.
Chu Hao took out the mirror. It was very large, capable of reflecting an entire person, and exquisitely engraved with dragons and phoenixes, giving it an aesthetic appeal.
Chu Hao's fingertips produced True Qi as he drew talismans on the mirror and chanted a series of spells. The mirror trembled slightly and emitted an energy fluctuation.
Suddenly, the surrounding scenery beca blurred, waves rising and falling. Space, glass, the ground, and walls all beca distorted.
To Chu Hao's surprise, he discovered the White-eyed Ghost was right in front of him, less than three ters away. She was on alert, seemingly looking for sothing.
Has the dinsional space been reversed?
This ans I'm now in the dinsional space, while the White-eyed Ghost is in the real world! Our positions have been switched!
Chu Hao felt amazed; it appeared the enemy couldn't see him. He waved his hand in front of the White-eyed Ghost, and indeed, she could not see him.
This Reversed Dinsional Cursed Mirror is really useful!
Though it's called useful, it's actually a rather situational item. It can only reverse the two spaces if a dinsional space already exists. Without one, it's just an ordinary mirror.
The White-eyed Ghost was confused and anxious. The situation was completely beyond her comprehension, leading her to panic.
Chu Hao said, "What are you looking for?"
"DING! Host has perford a Scary Show Off, earning 3,000 Pretentiousness Points."
The White-eyed Ghost was startled. Frantic and completely unable to locate Chu Hao, she flailed about like a headless fly, utterly at a loss.
Chu Hao almost burst out laughing. So this is how aweso it feels for a human to scare a Ghost!
Chu Hao said, "Aren't you going to surrender? Don't you believe this Taoist Master can take you down in minutes?"
The White-eyed Ghost remained vigilant; in terms of strength, she wasn't much weaker than Chu Hao.
As Chu Hao was thinking of a way to capture her, he felt waves of powerful Evil Qi pressing down from above within the dinsional space he occupied.
Chu Hao looked upstairs. This Evil Qi is incredibly strong!
He grew sowhat uneasy. The White-eyed Ghost is right in front of , so how can there be such strong Evil Qi coming from upstairs? Could there be other Ghost Demons here, even more terrifying than this one?
However, Chu Hao noticed that the Evil Qi wasn't targeting him. Instead, it was being released in all directions, enveloping the entire building.
Puzzled, Chu Hao thought, I should go up and take a look.
Ignoring the White-eyed Ghost, who was still acting like a headless fly, he went directly upstairs.
The upper floors were desolate, and the air around him was distorted. As he made his way to around the fiftieth floor, the center of the building, he saw a pitch-black hole in one of the walls. It was a twisted black hole, and rolling Evil Qi emanated from within.
The Evil Qi from this black hole was extrely horrifying, as if it were about to materialize into sothing solid.
For a mont, Chu Hao didn't understand what this was. Could it be that the White-eyed Ghost ca from inside there?
After all, it's rare for Ghost Demons to appear in a place like the Imperial Capital. Not only has one shown up, but it's also incredibly powerful. This just doesn't make sense.
As Chu Hao approached the black hole, the rolling Evil Qi was being released ferociously. The closer he got, the protective True Qi around his body began to loosen bit by bit, as though it was being influenced by the Evil Qi and was about to transform into it.
Startled, Chu Hao imdiately halted and retreated. He was very curious. What on earth is in there? The Evil Qi is so terrifying!
Thus, he focused his gaze ahead, using his far-sight and night vision abilities to try and see what was inside. All he saw deep within the black hole were rock walls sparkling with crystalline powder, similar to diamonds found inside caves. With just one glance, Chu Hao could see a kiloter ahead but made no discovery. This hole seed to extend indefinitely.
After watching for a while, his eyes began to sting. Frightened, he quickly withdrew his gaze, as his eyes seed to have been affected by the Evil Qi.
Chu Hao rubbed his eyes forcefully. When he opened them, he found his surroundings shrouded in a grey fog, and the surrounding Evil Qi now had color.
"What's wrong with my eyes?"
His eyes stung painfully. Chu Hao thought, I need to find the White-eyed Ghost and ask her about this.
When he arrived downstairs, the White-eyed Ghost was still there, looking lost and anxious. Beside her was a mirror, which she couldn't see.
The White-eyed Ghost looked baffled and confused, a situation she had never encountered before. Unable to return to her dinsional space, she felt as if she couldn't go ho.
Chu Hao said, "Let's talk."
The White-eyed Ghost was startled and roared, looking around wildly.
Chu Hao wasn't in a very good mood and said, "Be quiet. This Taoist Master wants to ask you sothing."
This White-eyed Ghost was neither human nor a typical Ghost; she was ford from Evil Qi and belonged to the category of Ghost Demons. She had little contact with living creatures and was frightened by Chu Hao's dominance, becoming as timid as a rabbit and very docile.
"Who... who are you?" a soft and weak girl's voice asked.
Chu Hao rolled his eyes. "So you can talk."
The White-eyed Ghost said, "I... I just learned."
Chu Hao asked, "What is that black hole?"
The White-eyed Ghost, though she appeared terrifying, spoke in a very soft voice, "Can you co out? I'm scared."
Chu Hao almost burst out laughing. It seems it's not just humans who are afraid of Ghosts; Ghosts are also very afraid of humans, especially humans who can just disappear!
Chu Hao said, "What are you afraid of? This Taoist Master won't eat you. Answer my question."
The White-eyed Ghost said, "I don't know what that is. Since I beca conscious, I have lived near the black hole to sustain my existence."
The White-eyed Ghost is right. Without a strong source of Evil Qi, she wouldn't live long, let alone develop intelligence.
Chu Hao asked, "Have you ever hard anyone?"
The White-eyed Ghost quickly said, "I have never hard anyone. Before, many people ca here, disturbing my concentration while I was trying to develop intelligence. I just sent them away."
Chu Hao frowned and said, "But people outside say that soone died here. What's that about?"
The White-eyed Ghost said, "Many people ca here in the past looking for sothing. Afterward, they started fighting, and many died. Then, so Ghosts appeared here. I chased them away, but they wouldn't leave. In the end, I had to take them in—that was the Fierce Ghost you just destroyed."
So that's how it is! No wonder the White-eyed Ghost only carries Evil Qi and not the murderous aura of soone who has killed.
