Pain. Pain shot through Lana’s head as the familiar yet unfamiliar voice echoed in her ears.

"Lana, we won’t hold you accountable for the switch; however, you need to apologize to Brenda for your bratty temper."

Lana clutched her head and stared at her surroundings in a daze. The brightly lit living room, decorated with a neutral-colored palette, had two leather sofas facing each other and a few distant faces glowing under the soft light of the chandelier.

Almond family? Did they kidnap her?

Her eyes unconsciously swept around the room and halted at her own reflection in the mirror. What the heck? Why was she looking like her 20-year-old self?

Wait... Lana’s eyes widened in realization. She gave once over to Brenda’s attire, and the theory in her mind was confird. Reborn... she has been reborn to the ti when Brenda was found by the Almond family.

"What are you staring at? Apologize! And kneel too! A parent’s debts must be paid by their children." Garrison’s harsh words broke Lana’s daze, and she frowned.

No... sothing was amiss.

She was Lana Almond, the pampered daughter of the Almond family. At least that was what she had believed until she turned 20 and Brenda appeared at their doorstep with a DNA test report.

Turns out, Lana wasn’t the Almond family’s daughter at all; she was switched at birth and took Brenda’s place, living a luxurious life for 20 years, while the real daughter, Brenda, suffered.

In Lana’s past life, even after Brenda’s arrival, Garrison, the eldest young master of the Almond family, wasn’t so harsh on her. But in this life...

"Brother, she might have been scared sh*tless, unlike our Brenda. Better to kick out this jinx." Aston disdainfully curled his lips.

Another anomaly. Yet the situation didn’t give Lana enough ti to process everything. Instead, she felt soone gripping her hand tightly, followed by a cold voice,

"A wretch like you never belonged to the Almond Family. Go and live with your poor family!"

With that, Lana was pushed to the ground. In her dazed state, she forgot to fight back. Only when the dull pain spread from her butt to her spine did she snap out of it.

"And if possible, stop comparing yourself to Brenda. She is a rare awakened Dream Warden, while you... sigh. Marry a beggar, and that would be the grandest achievent in your life." Leonard sneered. He was the secondborn of the Almond family.

"I always wondered why a dim-witted person like her ended up as our sister. Sigh... I am concerned that she might perish after being possessed by a roadside ghost." Aston, the third young master, scorned. His Blonde hair was tousled, and his deep black eyes stared at Ivy as if she were a good-for-nothing.

"Brothers, please stop." Brenda’s cold voice echoed in the living room, drawing Lana and the Almond siblings’ attention.

Her blonde hair cascaded down straight to her waist as she walked up to Lana. In a condescending manner, she used her high heels to step on Lana’s feet.

"If you have sha, leave. Now." Brenda’s cold aura made the atmosphere tense.

Lana broke out in a cold sweat and tried to pull away her legs, as she muffled the groan rising in her throat.

When Brenda still didn’t move, Lana kicked her in the calf, causing Brenda to stumble and fall on the ground.

"Ahhh!" Brenda scread in pain as she landed on the plush rug.

"Brenda!"

"Sister!"

"Bree!"

Three voices overlapped as the three Almond brothers rushed in Brenda’s direction. They checked Brenda, and a pained expression appeared on each of their face.

Lana bit her lips to stop herself from cursing. If this were in her previous life, she would have questioned why they didn’t check on her.

But now... she knows and understands one truth, which took her a long ti to understand... Brenda was their biological sister and was of much more value than they.

Without waiting for the siblings to co back to their senses, she stood up and rushed toward the door.

"Catch her!" Aston reacted first and ordered his servants.

Lana bit her lips and hurried over to her room, and quickly closed the door. Once inside her room, she hurriedly started to find her household registration, and that was when her eyes fell on the pink suitcase.
