She walked towards Ezra’s apartnt, which was still open, and when she stepped inside, she saw Ezra drinking alcohol.
Now, Lana knew that he liked to drink a lot, and a faint instinct, or to be precise, a premonition, appeared in her mind, as if she got to understand how that girl’s mother died.
However, she didn’t show it on her face. Instead, Ezra stared at Lana and gave her a lewd smile.
"Oh... well, well... isn’t this the student who loves to blackmail others? What are you doing here? Weren’t you supposed to leave?"
Lana laughed; her cheerful smile might have made it seem as if soone had asked her about whether,
"I am here because I wanted to tell you that I had completed the mission."
Hearing those words, Ezra stared at Lana with a dangerous glint in his eyes and smirked.
"Wasn’t the mission over from the mont you threatened ?"
Now, he couldn’t do much for her, so why was she even here to put up the shows?
Lana smiled gently and said,
"I never leave my work half done. After all, compared to others, I have work ethics."
Upon hearing those words, the man chuckled as if he had heard a joke, but he remained silent and waited for Lana to continue her performance.
Lana smiled and said, "I have found so kind of clues about the sches, like how you had an affair with a widow."
Hearing those words for the first ti, the indifferent look on Ezra’s face and the lust in his eyes evaporated in the air as if soone had stepped right on his tail.
He stared at Lana with slightly widened eyes, as if not being able to understand how she was able to know all of this.
Lana, on the other hand, continued at her pace, saying, "I also know that the widow had a daughter whom you killed."
She didn’t specify to whom she ant ’whom.’
Hearing those words, Ezra’s eyes widened, and then he shook his head, saying,
"You are lying. I haven’t killed anyone, and now you are slandering ." He then slew Lana.
Lana chuckled and said,
"I am not lying. In fact, I have proved it. Do you forget that exorcists nowadays can use sothing called a soul storage that can store ghosts and use ghosts to make testimonies?"
Faint sweat trickled down his forehead as Ezra imdiately said, "I will claim that the ghost is lying."
Lana laughed and looked at Ezra, saying, "You still don’t know about the technology."
Hearing those words for the first ti, Ezra looked at her with confusion while Lana continued to bluff in a calm voice.
In fact, there was no weapon or equipnt that could help humans detect whether the ghost was lying or not.
However, how can a man who was lower in the social hierarchy be able to know about sothing called great inventions that happen in universities?
Hence, Lana continued her nonsense talk, saying, "There is equipnt that has been recently made at Shadowridge University. It can help the students as well as police stations and police cops to know whether a ghost is lying in its testimony or not."
Hearing those words, Ezra stared at Lana in horror before his eyes flashed with ruthlessness. His mind started to replay the scenes that had happened.
In fact, three months before, he was having an affair with a widow whose husband used to stay in the tower he was currently residing in in the building.
The widow didn’t have much money to her na, and Ezra thought of scamming this woman. Even when the woman’s daughter sensed and exposed his intention, the woman continued to act blind.
It was only then they realized that the woman had loved him previously, and since she got to know that her husband had died, she started to take advantage of the absence of her husband and constantly tried to lure Ezra right to her tower and even promised that as long as Ezra ca into a relationship and got married with her, she would even sign the property deeds of the apartnt they were living in to Ezra.

As a result, he accidentally killed the daughter instead, which put him in great shock, while the woman started to laugh and cry at the sa ti.
It should be seen that the woman’s condition wasn’t good at all. Ezra was afraid, and just as he was considering what he should do, the woman started to threaten him.
